Vacation rentals in Coto Brus River

Isabel's villa overlooking the rainforest was absolutely amazing. Amazing views over the lush rainforest valley while relaxing on the terrace or taking a shower was truly a unique experience. The house is very large and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Waking up to parrots and tucans sitting in the trees next to the house is the best way to start the day in Costa Rica. Isabel is always available and provided great recommendations including a little hike to the property's own little waterfall. Lots of beautiful beaches and close to Corcovado National Park it was the perfect accommodation for us. 100% recommended!

I can’t say enough great things about this place. The cabin we were in slept 4 of us perfectly. The kitchen was stocked to cook what ever you need. The pool was refreshing after a long day. Andres was able to get us some fresh local TUNA 🍣. Parrots, Macaws, Monkeys are abundant in this area along with many other birds. We day tripped to Matapalo which is a absolutely beautiful area. Watch your drones lol lost mine to CaraCara in Cabo Matapalo . We’re drove to Carate which is the end of the road in the OSA and had a beautiful day in the upper part of the river. It’s wise to know some Spanish in this area as we found there wasn’t many English speakers around. This area is a absolute gem. All dirt roads past Puerto Jimenez and a few river crossings so it’s wise to have a bigger car or 4x4. The beach close to the house is perfect for shallow swims and the water was clear (lots of mangrove around) just an FYI. All I can say is explore this area it’s Paradise. Thanks for the GREAT STAY

Yadira’s cabin is the perfect place to relax in a peaceful environment. The cabin itself has everything you need, a well equipped kitchen, hot shower, comfy bed, large dining table and lots of areas to sit and relax. I was working online and the WiFi worked well for my work. There is parking for motorcycle or car under cover and a lovely garden space. The surrounding area is very nice with lots of supermarkets and restaurants all within a couple of minutes drive. Yadira is an exceptional host, very friendly and responsive. Thanks a million for everything Yadira 😎

We had the pleasure of staying at Casa Mawey for a month this winter. We have previously stayed in this area and we absolutely loved this home. The house has everything you could possibly need and the outdoor kitchen was something we never knew we needed but now will never want to go without! The pool has a shallow part that was perfect for hanging out and for littles to play in. Lots of shade to stay cool on hot days. We ended up visiting one of the hottest months on record and couldn’t have been more grateful for the air conditioning in bedrooms at night. We brought fire sticks as all bedrooms have Tvs so kids could have chill time in their rooms and cool down after hot days. We have stayed much higher on the mountain in the past, we loved how this house felt like it was dropped in the middle jungle and still has views of the ocean even though it was a shorter drive. Highly recommend this special place!

Is this place as described by Wade (Thomas)? No. It is even better!

A quiet place, just to be cleared, is better than what you see in the photos, the host's attention is excellent and for everything it gives solution and quick. I would definitely come back again without thinking about it
