House near the Frontera de Paso Canoas.

PaulinaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I stayed with my husband and my two daughters in Geilyn's house recently, from the entry process everything was very easy with the directions She gave me. The house is very large and comfortable with private and super safe parking, it also has all the amenities that may be needed. We were very happy with our stay and I definitely recommend it if you are considering staying in the La Cuesta area.

This place is fantastic, very peaceful and a connected with nature. Its nice being at the end of a private road, but do drive with caution as there is a big pothole on the road right before her house. Lovely place and we would definitely stay again.

Casa Sombrero

SilviaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
A true paradise surrounded by nature! The silence and tranquility of the area make this place perfect for those looking for relaxation. From the bedroom you can admire monkeys and parrots, a unique experience. The nearest beach is a 7-minute walk away, ideal for a walk. The area is also safe, which has always made us feel comfortable. Marcos, the caretaker, was very welcoming and helpful, providing us with all the necessary information without being intrusive. We recommend a 4x4 tall car to get to the accommodation, given the location surrounded by nature (to get there we had to gain a small river because a bridge was unusable). Important to organize with shopping in the city of Puerto Jemenez. The only regret? Our stay was too short! We will definitely be back.

Beachfront Large Cabin in 15 acre magical jungle

LillieRating, 5 stars11 months ago
What a magical place! The kayaking from the beach was fantastic. The outdoor kitchen was our favorite feature, we spent most of our time there playing with our daughters and cooking/watching the wildlife. We saw lots of monkeys and beautiful birds on the property. Flor, Mario and Faviolla were just wonderful - Flor even offered to watch our baby while we ate dinner one night. They made the place feel warm and even more special. We absolutely hope to be back one day!!

As mentioned, the address that comes in Airb&b is not exact. The recommendation is that they consult the host first and send it the exact address in Waze. He is always very attentive to one and available to help. Highly recommended place.

Green Frog Treehouse, Romantic & Plunge Pool

AmandaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a great time at Ricky & Lori's Treehouse!! It was amazing to be up in the trees hearing the howler monkeys early in the morning. The flora and fauna was everywhere. We relaxed in the hammocks reading books, swam in the pool, and enjoyed being in nature. The location is close enough to Puerto Viejo de Talamanca where you can go swimming at the beach, shopping, and eat at fantastic restaurants. There are also plenty of Supermarkets near by if you want to shop and cook in the treehouse. We loved our time here.

Sombrero y Camisas 4 Nature Lovers

ChristopherRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our third time to Costa Rica and one thing we've come to love is waking up to the sounds of howler monkeys. John's place delivered that and more! John was very communicative leading up to the reservation. Oscar & Carolina were helpful getting us settled, showing us wildlife on the property & keeping us stocked with necessities. We saw howler, spider, squirrel & capuchin monkeys all on the property. Oscar showed us an anteater, we saw a coati (we suspect it was what was knocking over our garbage cans each night!) an agouti, toucans, pelicans, hummingbirds & other wildlife we can't name) The home was cozy with netted beds to keep the bugs out and fans for cooling. We were there during a rainy stretch which made having to take cold showers each day much more difficult to bear. No hot water was not mentioned in the listing and we probably would have shortened our stay a bit had we known. We definitely prefer some warmth for our showers. Overall, we loved it & would return!

Posada de Paz "Casa con Piscina y Rancho BBQ"

LibertyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Our group of friends loved staying at this house! It was easy to find and easy to get in, and Lea and Dina were super communicative and helpful. The fenced yard really helped me have peace of mind on day trips, as our dog was happy and had lots of space to play! The backyard / BBQ area is a great hangout spot, and the pool was amazing in the hot afternoons. We will definitely be back.

BEACHFRONT HOUSE, FULL EQUIPPED WITH 3 BEDROOMS 2A

NicholasRating, 5 stars9 months ago
This is the place to stay in Pavones!! Especially if you’re coming to surf! Right at the top of the point. You can keep tabs on the surf from your deck and paddle out when the waves and crowd dictate. Couldn’t have asked for a more helpful staff. Grounds were pristine, accommodations were great, pool was refreshing. Easy walk across the river into town. Perfect trip, perfect waves!! Thanks again Mili and Kenneth!!

La Casita De Osa

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A beautiful little paradise in the wild of the Osa Peninsula. The house is as described, but the peacefulness is something you have to experience for yourself. Watching the sunrise and sunset over the forest of palms and many other jungle trees is a magical way to start and end the day. There were so many birds to watch, and we could often hear the howler monkeys in the distance. There were also little piglets at the neighbour's house, so cute! The pool is so refreshing we looked forward to it every afternoon upon returning from our adventures. We spent our days looking for beaches and found some beautiful ones. The house has everything needed to cook and enjoy your meals; we ate by the pool in the mornings. We were able to do laundry as well, which was great! If you love nature, you will love this place! We unfortunately had some communication problems for checking in but after we sorted that out it was better. This was our only reason for not given 5*.

Cabaña San Vito Coto Brus

CheloRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I am already looking forward to returning 💞 It was the perfect location to unplug from the rest of the world and enjoy a tech-detox cozied into the hills of San Vito. It is very clean for a natural home, and only gave 4 stars for cleanliness for the sake of keeping foreigners realistic when arriving. This is Costa Rica, and things are very alive here. Meaning, be aware thay this home is very connected to beautiful natural elements you are likely coming to appreciate and get closer to. Pristine is unrealistic when you're going more rustic. So embrace the elements 🙏 And this is the perfect place to do just that!

Villa Tita

NancyRating, 5 stars12 months ago
We found André’s vinca (farm) delightful, from the beginning of the short drive up the lane lined with pines and White Angel Trumpet trees, to the lovely, well-built 2 bedroom cabin and new studio cabin, and walking the beautiful lanes throughout his 20 acre coffee and banana farm. He is very responsive to any questions or requests. The cabins were immaculate, the kitchen was well supplied for cooking (which we did- making the most of local fruits, vegetables and meats) and conveniently stocked with some basic, purchasable snacks, wine, beer, vino, soda and bottled water (note- the tap water is potable, so we used that). Being in the mountains, the weather was pleasant, and toucans, hummingbirds abound. He provided farm grown oranges and bananas, and even a soccer ball to play on the farm soccer field, which is next to a large covered tiki/party area. Best of all, we had the company of Franco, Lily, Lucca and Pancho every day - well behaved dogs and cat. Magical Place to Stay! 🫶🦋
