Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cornwall

House was spotlessly and thoughtfully decorated. The bed was comfortable and hot tub was absolutely phenomenal. Skylights let in beautiful natural light for reading and relaxing. Michael and Enrique were proactive about reaching out beforehand with the house information and we really, really enjoyed our stay. We're not used to baseboard heating so some of the noise from the heating surprised us, but that's to be expected with any place that's not your home. Would gladly stay here again.

We spent 4 days around Christmas as a family with our grown up children and their partners, relaxing, visiting the area a bit, cooking and playing games. It was freezing, so we spent a fair amount of time indoors, and the wood fireplace was a pleasure... We loved the house. Leslie's place was very comfortable and very pleasant. It was well supplied with everything we needed, and cooking was a pleasure as she had all the kitchenwares that were necessary to make nice meals. We had some questions that came up because of the unusually cold weather, and Leslie was very communicative and eager to help. The house is located a little bit more into the woods than what we had expected, so it is good to be aware of that, especially in the winter when driving can be tricky because of ice, snow and early nightfall. In conclusion, we did have a great time and the house was very comfortable.

The previous reviews were all positive so I wasn’t surprised by how pleasant this listing was and how Dinesh goes out of his way to accommodate guests. Everything was wonderful. Both nights we enjoyed the large fireplace in the large living room, right off the large kitchen. All the spaces are large here. Plenty of room to spread out with friends or family. We were all impressed.

Elizabeth and Vinny were amazing hosts. Their eye for mid-century modern furniture and tasteful decore drew us to book the house. Every corner has been carefully curated to make the guest feel welcomed and taken cared of. Will definitely recommend and most importantly definitely stay again!

My son and I visited a school nearby and the property was great fit for us - only 10 minutes from the school and hockey rink, exactly what we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy farmhouse! The fireplace was a real highlight, and it was so nice that they had plenty of wood available for us. The location is perfect—really close to Hudson and an hour drive to Hunter Mountain. The only thing to note is that the kitchen didn't have any baking equipment, so if you're planning to bake, it's helpful to bring your own. Other than that, it was a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommend!

Had a great time in Cornwall, CT. We go away every year with friends for new years, renting a different house every time. This was one of our favorites. Loved the modern yet rustic decor. Bathrooms were beautiful and heated doors throughout. Big table for our expanded crew and puzzles. And very peaceful on the river, close to Mohawk Mt., etc. Great way to ring in 2025! Thanks Elena.

This attic apartment was cozy and comfortable. Everything you need. Do be sure that you and your guests can handle stairs! Very close and walkable to Main Street in Beacon. Near wonderful stores and restaurants. Recommended!

Ann Marie was incredible, and so was the space! It was clean, freshly stocked with anything we could possibly need, and Ann Marie was incredibly attentive and communcative. She left absolutely no stone unturned and was available if we needed anything at all - she even came out while I was cleaning snow off of my car to give me a better brush to make that easier as well. I've stayed at a number of Bnb's in the last few years and I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences I've ever had. If you're looking to stay in the Hudson Valley/Beacon area, I cannot recommend staying here enough, you won't regret it. Thank you so much for making our stay so enjoyable!

Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

Vicky’s listing is the perfect getaway for a couple. We loved the proximity to downtown Rhinebeck. Vicky was flexible with our needs and extremely responsive and friendly.

This was our 2nd weeklong stay. The space is clean and bright. Heating details were clearly explained. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 7 minute drive for milk I forgot to bring for coffee. We saw a small bobcat in the front yard on our last morning. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responsive. I’d recommend this place to friends/family and hope to stay again.

We really enjoyed out stay at Roy's apartment. The place is HUGE, and the location is absolutely perfect - right next to the Maker Hotel on Warren Street. The best part was the gas fireplaces (4). Very cozy. Highly recommended! A+

My friends and I stayed at Brygida and Neil's for a winter weekend away from the city, and we all absolutely fell in love with the house. The place was clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. Within the house, there's plenty to do — hot tub, games, pool table, a great kitchen for cooking — even in the dead of winter. It's also really close to Dia:Beacon, which is definitely worth a visit. And Neil was incredibly responsive and helpful in addressing a small issue we had. It's so nice to have such an incredible getaway only 1.5 hours from New York. We need to come back in the summer to take advantage of the pool :)

We had a lovely time hosting Thanksgiving at the Freeman. It was truly memorable, can't wait to visit the space in warmer weather.

The house was lovely and very clean and Piotr was an excellent host and even met us at check in to show us around. There are 4 bedrooms and each bedroom has its own bathroom which was very convenient for us. The kitchen was well stocked and It was very comfortable stay for my family of 7 adults and two babies and two dogs. One bedroom is on the main floor and two bedrooms are on the walkout lower level and one bedroom is on the upper floor. To get to the upper floor there is a steep winding staircase that wasn’t an issue for us, but I would not recommended it for small children or toddlers. The outdoor hot tub was a nice addition.

Kelsey’s listing was clean, comfortable, and luxurious. The instructions were clear and Kelsey was quick to respond to every message we sent. If you’re looking for the perfect getaway for a big group (or a small one) definitely book this listing.

We had a wonderful Hudson Valley stay at this property. Our grand-daughters loved sleeping together in the bedroom with two double beds; and my wife and I, plus our two daughters and their husbands enjoyed good nights of sleep in the three bedrooms containing a double or queen bed. The kitchen was well equipped; and the huge living room with large dining table was perfect for the children to play, the adults to relax, and all of us to eat. The artwork in the house gave it character, the views of the Hudson River were a treat, and the location was great for visits to Storm King Art Center and Legoland NY. The email which I brought along from AirBnB had the correct street, but the wrong numerical address; however, AirBnB promptly helped us find the correct address and helped us get into the house. Of all the houses which we have rented for family weekends, this was absolute the best one.

I had a fantastic experience staying at this Airbnb! The house was exactly as described in the listing, and I could tell the Sourove put a lot of thought into making sure everything was perfect. The space was beautifully remodeled, with a modern yet welcoming feel that made it feel like home right away. One of the highlights was the game room – it was such a fun and thoughtful addition. Between the ping pong table, arcade game box, chess set, and UNO, there was never a dull moment. It’s clear that Sourove put effort into ensuring guests have plenty to do during their stay. The pantry had a nice selection of snacks, which was a lovely surprise. It’s those little touches, like the extra attention to detail with toiletries and thoughtful extras, that really made the stay stand out. Overall, this is an excellent place to stay, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-equipped, and welcoming home.

This home is great for a family or two. Wonderful items in the large yard for children to play in, on and zip along. The side screened in porch is great for morning coffee or evening hangout. A chilly night, the gas fireplace is easy to work and adds a level of warmth to the great sitting area.
