Clare was super responsive from the moment we booked our stay . The thoughtful wine and toy for our pet dog made us feel v welcome . She had a lot of lovely local recommendations to share and her home was warm and inviting. We enjoyed our stay . The location and proximity to the beach is a big plus especially for pet parents.

My friends and I really enjoy staying at Airbnb‘s and this property if not at the top is very near to the top of all the places we have visited – it’s a wonderful user friendly property– beautifully setup, great kitchen and amenities, garage arranged as a games room and separate TV room – I mean it’s really special – amazing location close to the beach and great for families and dogs- highly highly recommended

What a great find! Central and walking distance to everything you'd like, if you feel like leaving the car at home. We absolutely loved the cafe across the road for morning coffee. Just be aware the side fence of the yard is only waist high and wire, so if you have a reactive pup they will be able to see everyone walking past. But we loved this house as a base for our family beach holiday, there was plenty of room for everyone and Donna was responsive and very helpful with local recommendations and tips. Great spot and well fitted place with everything you need. Nice little welcome gift on arrival was a great touch. Just be mindful of some the neighbours if you’re bringing pets !

Amy’s place was amazing and exactly as described. It was so clean we thought it had just been renovated, not a spot anywhere. Everything was well kept in cupboards, the beds were made really well and rooms really tidy. The living areas were well presented and the bathrooms looked and smelled clean with fresh towels on the beds. The kitchen was also fully equipped with everything you could need. It’s in a great location only 10 minute drive from Newcastle, the beaches and restaurants and the residential area is very quiet at night. Amy is also very responsive and welcoming. I would absolutely recommend staying here to anyone thinking about it. We will definitely return if we are visiting Newcastle again in the future.

Rod & Jay were great hosts with easy communication and super helpful . The house was great, central, clean and comfortable ( the softest sheets I have ever slept on ! ) Well set up for our family and the dog... ps my kids loved the access to the pool. Nelson Bay is a wonderful place for a holiday and we look forward to coming back again.

Sal and Romo’s hospitality was first class. They made us feel so welcome and went out of there way to make the stay memorable. I can’t wait to go back.

Had a great stay at Amanda’s place. An awesome home with everything you need for a big family or friends trip. The pool was beautiful and clean and the living/kitchen area was perfect for evening dinners and relaxing

Nice studio, king size bed. Lovely surrounds of greenery. Stewart was very friendly & happy to assist with making the area more contained for our blind dog. The fenced yard was great so we knew the dogs were secure. Great place & host for allowing dogs inside & out. Will return if we have the need.

From the moment we walked in the door we knew it would be a great holiday. Karen has decorated the space in a lovely way and we instantly felt relaxed. We enjoyed great family time in the pool and were able to take in many of the local activities including the local dolphin cruise. Our daughter was made to feel welcome and enjoyed feeding the chickens and playing with resident dog Zoe. We had a ball and will definitely be back. A great place for both summer and winter.

Had a fabulous stay, with many hours spent relaxing around the pool and bbq ! A very comfortable well located home with plentiful space for summer fun and entertainment. Proximity to Shoal Bay, numerous beaches and walks provide ample activity for all the family. We hope to be back next year!

Such a beautiful place to relax. The backyard has a lovely pool surrounded by palms, a nice grassy area and sun lounges, can’t tell you how often I‘ve stayed somewhere with nowhere comfortable to sit after the pool or beach. The property backs onto a reserve and has the most amazing tree right out the back that is overgrown with a monstera. The house also has a lovely veranda with a comfortable outdoor setting, so if the backyard is getting too warm you can spend time on the veranda or vice versa. The deck has a large table as does the backyard, we hosted a Christmas Day lunch in the downstairs backyard and were comfortably shaded all day as the downstairs table is under cover whilst the upstairs one is nice in the evening when the sun goes away. The host is lovely and easy to communicate with. We absolutely love staying there and will be back again.

The house is absolutely stunning. The view is amazing, the house is clean, modern, spacious and has comfortable beds. The kitchen is very appointed with everything you need. This property is well and truly above what you’d expect for an AirBnB. The only downside is the steps to get down to the property is a lot and steep, so if you have an elderly person with you like I did (or someone with mobility issues) this is something you need to consider. Once you’re in the house though, you won’t regret staying here.

We stayed at Tanya’s place as a group of families with kids and a pet dog. The place was amazing to accommodate all our needs and we had an amazing time. The location, amenities, pool everything was just perfect. Tanya was very responsive and accommodated our requests like bed settings etc. We also booked the pony experience for the kids which they throughly enjoyed. I would highly recommend this place for large groups especially with kids. Five stars! Bonus points to know that Tanya is also a celebrity in her own right with even an Olympic presence under her belt.

Stunning home that is styled beautifully. Walking distance to beach and cafes, short drive to shops. Would definitely stay again.

John’s place was absolutely beautiful and exactly as described. The view was stunning and John greeted us on arrival and was very friendly. The unit had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay for a family, not too far to walk to Shoal Bay or a quick drive to Fingal Bay. Quiet street. Clutter free home. Nice backyard. Would recommend to others. Nil need to contact Scott which I personally think speaks volumes.

Marilyn’s place was exactly as described, the perfect location by the ocean in a beautiful neighbourhood. We unfortunately had lots of rain for our stay but the cottage was lovely and cozy so still had a wonderful time. Marilyn was super helpful and friendly and we’d definitely be back :)

Beautiful peaceful location. We had everything we needed and felt right at home. Highlights were proximity to the waterway which is stunning and full of wildlife and walkable to the Boat shed cafe. Loved our stay, only wished it was longer.

Idyllic spot. Morrad has thought of everything ahead, so that we didn't have to. Free step workout was as described and fine with great views en route. Friendly and helpful host who clearly cares about property. Kayaks and SUPB for Naru beach and surrounds were wonderful. Tight but equipped kitchen with 2 ring hob and mini oven met our needs. Gated garden, so no issue for kids or pooches. |Front deck great to watch the world go by on lake. Definitely recommend and will return - thanks Morrad :)

Fantastic accomodation a stones throw from all the area has to offer. Simon’s place was easy to find, had everything we could have needed and was super clean. It was the perfect spot for our 2 nights away as a family. Will definitely stay again
