Ski-in/Ski-out vacation rentals in Cook County

This place was really nice and met the needs of our 4 adults & 2 children for a 2-night getaway. The decorations gave a fun cabin feel, the furniture was newer and beds were comfortable. The living room TV had a Roku and the deck had a beautiful view of the forest behind. There’s a short hike up to the resort to use the indoor and outdoor pools, which our grandkids loved! Shayla was quick to respond to our questions and even helped us adjust the thermostat to heat since the downstairs seemed too cold when we arrived. We had a great time!

Shayla’s place was even better than the photos and description. It was meticulously clean, had a well-appointed kitchen, felt amazingly cozy and the beautiful decorating details put it over the top. Her communication leading up to and during our stay was consistent and prompt. I was visiting with family and friends to run the Fall Superior race and the location was very convenient to the finish line. Would love to return!

Great communication throughout. House was clean and comfortable. Grilled dinners were yummy. Alpine slide was a hit! Pool was nice…air was cold🙂. Had planned on utilizing the fire pit but it rained. Thank you for a great stay. Another awesome White Family Adventure in the books! Georgene White

Shayla's place was perfect for nice getaway to see fall colors and explore the North Shore. Plenty of hiking and outdoor activities, there is a hot tub and pool as well. Kitchen is well stocked. The balcony was overlooking the pool and hillside and was so very nice. Can't wait to come back in Winter for skiing.

We just loved Cathi’s cabin! It was our first time staying at a cabin without electricity or running water and the description of the property was very accurate and allowed for us to plan appropriately. The property was well kept, clean and safe. We had such a great time!

Potbelly cabin was a 10/10 stay. Very comfortable, cozy, and peaceful. It was a great getaway from the twin cities and a good proximity from Grand Marais. The other cabin renters were very friendly. Highly recommended staying here.

Our family of three and two dogs had a great time at Cathi and David's cabin! We stayed in the Ollar cabin, the wood stove kept us nice and toasty each night. There are beautiful trails just across the road which our family really enjoyed. It is also fairly close to town, which is a nice day trip to take. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Cathi and David for a memorable long weekend!

Cute little cabin in the woods. It was a great place to stay. I stayed in Oct, even though it was 30 degrees outside the cabin stayed warm enough even when the fire went out during the night. Nice trails, would be great for skiing during the winter. Had everything you needed to feel at home. Sauna was great also. I think it is a little overpriced with no running water or electric compared to other places, but was very nice. Better than I expected.

The condo was easy to get to, clean, and exactly like the pictures. It's equipped with everything we needed for our weekend getaway, and located very conveniently for local attractions. The hosts, Cassie and David, were very proactive in getting us any info we may have needed both before and during our stay, even offering us a partial refund because the dishwasher was in for repairs at the time. Overall, the condo was a perfect pick for our weekend trip, and we'd have no problem at all recommending it to others!

The staff were extremely accommodating and provided excellent service (i.e. provided us an early check-in that we requested the day of). The resort is beautifully situated and the amenities were great. Will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay! It was perfect for a last-minute weekend getaway. Great location with lots to do nearby and at the resort. It is only 30 mins from Grand Marais and nearby several amazing waterfall hikes.

This was a great, centrally-located base for our North Shore adventures. It was great to have the pools, hot tub, and restaurant in such close proximity. It was just what we needed.

Would recommend this place to anyone! Beautiful location, private corner apartment. Wonderful views from all windows! Host easy to get ahold of and gave very clear instructions for checkin and checkout!

My family and I wanted to extend our vacation a little so we made some last minute reservations at Jesse’s place. The hosts were very responsive and kind. The surrounding area was absolutely beautiful and there was plenty to do, both in Lutsen and up and down the coast. We had a great time and would stay again.
