Beach house vacation rentals in Connecticut

A great setting for a large family gathering. Lots for everyone in the family to do from the kids to the grandparents. The kids especially loved the puppets and playing hide and seek in the house. Tony was flexible with check in as our flight arrived earlier than originally expected. Would highly recommend 😊

This house is a gem! I came to stay a week in off season with my dog, Rollo. The location is breathtaking, right on the Long Island Sound. We had a great time exploring the beach, looking for all the biodiversity in the birds and sea creatures, watching the boats, and this place is relatively close to an airport so watching the planes land and take off was awsome as well. We came for privacy, and I expected the beach to be a little more private than it was due to my dog's reactivity. But the neighbors did not seem to have issues with us, and once you are close to the water, especially in low tide, the beach is pretty open for all the locals. Walking around, the locals all waved and said hello. Not too many restaurants close by, but the Lobster Shack down the road had good food! Would stay again! The deck alone was worth it!

A happy annual reunion weekend with friends. This was a great spot that was comfortable and clean and had all the conveniences we needed. We even got so lucky with the weather to be able to use the deck looking out onto the water. Good times.

So glad I came across this home! The space is great with a beautiful view. Joe was a wonderful host and always responsive and helpful. It was a peaceful getaway to begin the new year. Thanks for everything, looking forward to staying again!

The pictures don't do this place justice! The home itself is gorgeous and the view is stunning. The neighborhood is peaceful and it was perfect for me and four friends to stay the weekend.

It is a charming place back into the water. Love listening to the sound of the ocean and watching the sunset and the noght light on the other side of the water.

The house was very clean, which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the house met our needs for visiting our family nearby. The neighborhood is very quiet, which we liked.

We just had most wonderful stay! The decks provided the most breathtaking views- from watching the boats, bird and duck watching, and catching glimpses of the fish jumping! It was the perfect spot for morning coffee, outdoor meals, and relaxation. Jim had a grill out on the deck to use. Our daughter enjoyed finding shells and small crabs on the beach area. We kayaked one morning right on site- beautiful! The big windows gave us plenty of view to the beautiful outdoors when we hit some rainy/colder times too. Everything was wonderful inside and out- we hope to stay again! The location itself is also great- plenty to do in the area- all within close enough driving distance. Our daughter loved Tree Trails. We also spent a day at one of the many ocean beaches to choose from nearby.

We had a group of 8 adults and 7 kids (5 and under) and the space was great for a large group! There was plenty of room for the kids to run around downstairs and the large yard was fantastic. We were there in the winter so couldn’t take advantage of the pool but we did make a trip to the local beach (5 min drive) and use the fire pit. I definitely recommend Gregory’s place for both larger groups and families! We would love to return!

Absolutely beautiful home with every amenity and comfort. You can tell how much love and care went into this place- every piece of furniture and detail is the highest quality. It’s even more spacious and beautiful than it looks in the photos. It was perfect for our group with young kids and it was great they provided a pack and play so we didn’t have to pack one. The hosts were easy to communicate with and flexible. They even let us check out late on our final day. We opted to enjoy the beautiful yard and home longer rather than venture out because we were so comfortable. We cannot wait to come back in the summer as the pool and yard set up is incredible. The absolute best Air B & B we ever stayed at. Allana was a pleasure to work with. The home was spacious, and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, and more. Fireplace, pool, enclosed porch, sun room with coffee bar, sitting room, sunken living room, dining room with tons of chairs, kitchen bar with stools, dining room bar with stools, mud room with extra refrigerator and freezer, storage space galore, closets stocked with games, linen closets with anything you might need, big bedrooms, master bedroom with en-suite bathroom, balconies to soak in the sun, crib, high chair… too much more to even list. Our family had a fabulous time; the energy in the house is so welcoming! The soft blues are soothing, and quaint beach theme accents throughout the home lend to the relaxed vibe. The rooms flow perfectly, and provided ample space for different family members to have their own area to unwind in. Steps from beach & playground, the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll.

We were all very happy with the check-in/check-out. Instructions were clear and host left helpful information. Beds were quite comfortable. More than enough space for all. Laundry room was a plus. Easy to access town & beach. Lovely place - quiet - clean. Would definitely book again.

A group of us came into town for a long weekend and loved staying here. Check in/out was very flexible which helped with not having to sit around after/before flights. Comfy and big hang out space. Loved the hot tub and view of the bay!!

We had a wonderful stay! The house can accommodate large family gatherings - there were a lot of spaces for folks to spread out as well as gather. The kitchen is very well stocked. We would definitely rent again!

Carlos is a friendly and responsive host. Our family enjoyed everything about his place and we felt right at home. All 6 of us were very comfortable in this spacious and well appointed home in a nice neighborhood close to everything in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

My stay at this home was awesome. The pictures were accurate and recent. Everything was spotless. The kitchen is very spacious with soft close cabinets and drawers. The living room furniture is very comfortable and seats several people. Everything was amazing and well organized. I visit CT several times throughout the year so I definitely will book this home again!

This home was so beautiful- I think even better in person than the photos, and the photos are already beautiful. We felt so at home, Cathy was helpful, responded quickly for any questions I had, gave lots of information on the area and recommendations for food/coffee. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Ana’s home for a night of fun team bonding activities. The house was spacious and lovely with nice views of the river nearby, and we especially loved the giant rock in the basement! Ana was very clear and responsive throughout our stay so everything went smoothly for us.

Close to water! Comfortable sofa! Restaurants you can walk to ! Enjoyed our visit with family!

We selected this cozy cottage for the location - it was nearby to family that we were visiting. Inside, it was adorable - lovely, coordinated decor, clean and fresh. Everything we could have needed was there - bathroom ameneties, coffee pods, two coffee makers (single serve and a full size pot). The cottage is in a quiet, established neighborhood. The "welcome" treats in the refrigerator were a nice surprise! We were very comfortable and happily recommend the Cozy Cottage.

We booked Chase's home SUPER last minute and Mary was incredibly accommodating in getting us right in. We couldn't have been happier with the home, location, or hosts. It was the perfect long weekend getaway for our 4 adults and two kids under 2. It seemed like almost a new home, everything in pristine condition and very tasteful decor. We like the lazy susan they had on the dining table so much we ordered one for our home! Just an awesome experience all around! Thanks Mary! Top tip: IF you want to walk out to Charles Island at low tide you actually need to arrive to the crossing point 30 minutes or BEFORE low tide. We trekked out there with the kids AT low tide and were instructed by the local life guards that it was already too late to cross as there wouldn't be enough time to get to the island and back. No biggie and it was still VERY cool to be out in the ocean on a narrow strip of sand. Also, we found Jimmy's Apizza to be great pizza when you inevitably order out.

Enjoyed the stay. Gorgeous beach home. Lots of natural light which is great. Accomodated with daily amenities (very useful). Easy check in. Attentive owners. Pleasant location. As frequently as i travel to CT, would stay again. Thank you.
