Oceanfront Family Home

I travel a lot so my home sadly sits empty. I'd love to share this piece of heaven with everyone! Come enjoy the beach. At night you can star gaze surrounded by peaceful silence. Walk on waterfront in the front yard and forest in the backyard, yet only 10 mins to town! My house is not perfect. Like any family home, it has its quirks and the closets are full of my stuff, but the beds are clean and you can't beat the location.

Spent a few nights here for a couples getaway and loved it. The views from every corner of the cabin are stunning, especially from the patio. Our favourite part was relaxing by the fire pit and soaking in the hot tub while taking in the ocean view. The cabin is quiet, peaceful, and the perfect size for two. It was missing a couple of small essentials like paper towels or recycling bins, and the mini-fridge was quite small but nothing that took away from the overall experience. We’d definitely stay here again!

Truly unforgettable and awesome experience! The hosts went above and beyond in their hospitality, and made our stay tremendously enjoyable. We hiked up nearby Mt.Washington and were lucky enough to come upon both a marmot and a black bear ! Stargazing during the Perseus meteor shower was particularly brilliant as there is literally zero light pollution to interfere with the stars, AND WE SAW WILD, COLOURFUL AND CRACKLING AURORA BOREALIS! No kidding! Anyway, the space was cozy, peaceful, and fully functional for cooking, bathing, etc. Love love love this place and the wonderful hosts!

This suite was our home from Jan 1/24 to April 30/24. We had everything we needed. When we needed anything, Roy & Corae were very responsive. They were good to communicate with us if anything out of the ordinary was to occur. Kali is a sweet heart. A gentle, quiet dog. We could see the ocean every am. We had easy access to South Island hwy. It’s a place we hope to visit again.

Greenhill Retreat exceeded our expectations. Hosts Brad & Heather made us feel welcome minute we arrived and offer flexibility of privacy but also interactive when felt like socializing. Their place is in a beautiful peaceful location and was exactly what we needed, an escape from the city. The local tips and shared chatter made the stay a memorable one and we can’t wait to return again and recommend it to all our friends that need a rest and relaxing getaway. Oh and best surprise was the breakfasts, not only were they scrumptious and catered to my food intolerances with ease, they surprised with special touches which made my husbands day 🙏

Sylvia and Don are excellent hosts and the cottage is beautiful. There is good access to nice, easy walking trails and a cool rocky beach without needing to use the car. Also good access to beautiful wilderness spaces with a pretty short drive. Great place to stay

Robin's place was a dream, a relaxing little getaway in an idyllic setting. The Salt cottage was super clean and inviting. The bed was very comfortable, I could see eagles flying overhead through the skylight. The bathroom was like a spa with a sauna nearby. You can tell there is a lot of attention to detail with clear instructions and great communication from Robin. The view was amazing and the surroundings were peaceful. I was incredibly lucky to see four otters running around on the lawn a few feet away from me as I sat on the deck and watched the ocean. It was really more than an accommodation, it was a truly lovely experience! I would also recommend Ima's Kitchen on Denman, they have the best vegan ice cream sandwiches I have ever had!
