Absolutely loved this house, felt like I was home. Kitchen was stocked with just about everything needed to prepare meals, plenty of towels for use. We loved the pool too. About 25 minutes to San Marcos. We thoroughly enjoyed Rose’s house and would highly recommend it!

it's so magical I want to keep it a secret! I appreciate their commitment to the land and mother Earth gathering rain water etc the stone floor is so cool, although if you have balance issues, still come and bring a friend to help you navigate because it will be so healing to be here very responsive and honest extra touches felt like Mom and Dad took care of everything🥰 thank you so much, would totally come back!!! we wish we had more time to get to know them the coyote decor really touched my heart as well as some animal magic outside that feels too sacred to share🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Cabin was perfectly cozy. Ashley was a wonderful host and very accommodating.

An absolutely peaceful place to stay. Felt secluded and private even tho there are neighbors 40 ish yards away. The only concerns we had is the creek crossing as any vehicle that is wide and low would more than likely scrape. Kitchen and the view was wonderful and the hot tub was the highlight of our stay. We got to see deer, foxes and other wildlife. Overall an amazing experience and we will definitely book again in future.

Beautiful and peaceful place to stay at. Lake to wake up to every morning. Kayaking and fishing was fun! My family enjoyed it!

We had a magical stay at this lakeside cottage. It was both the whimsy and quiet respite our family needed. We enjoyed waking to the stunning lake views through the expansive windows and traversing the cliff to the private lake shore. The setting was serene, perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. Highly recommend for anyone looking for tranquility and a bit of exploration.

This was the perfect place to stay for a small getaway weekend! The community was quiet and peaceful, the stars at night were beautiful! The cabin itself was clean and the perfect size for our party of 4. Also the fact that it is pet friendly was a huge plus, our dog Charlie, thanks you! Will deff stay again if we are in the area!

Stayed at the Green Retreat. Great location with equal drive to Whimberly and Canyon Lake area. Extremely peaceful overall. Was kinda surprised to see the high school and stadium so close. Could hear the Friday night football game clearly. But good thing is, it’s over early so no interruption in our peace or sleep overall. Loved the views and property. Never did make it down to the creek area , maybe next time. Be prepared for a rough 1/2 mile driveway! But they do warn you not to come in a tiny car. Danielle was so sweet and super helpful with making sure our booking went right and we were happy. Five star host.

The gingerbread cottage was perfectly as described and pictured. Quaint cabin, newly built, but with old school touches including a wood burning fireplace. The land was beautiful, and the view from the porch was perfect for morning and nighttime wildlife viewing. 10/10 recommend for a peaceful getaway. Also plenty nearby to drive to activity-wise.

Absolutely adore and love this great place. Private and peaceful and a pretty romantic place for you and your significant other. The hosts were so helpful with everything and we will most definitely be coming back !

The cozy cabin was just what my husband and I expected. It was just right for us, had beautiful views and had all the amenities we needed. We enjoyed playing pool in the barn and the bed was so comfortable. We will definitely book again when in the area.

I’ve been searching for the perfect “peaceful getaway” for years and this place has won my heart! It was everything I had hoped for and more! Kate was so kind and accommodating! She welcomed my reservation at 7pm after I’d been terribly disappointed with the original Airbnb I reserved. So many rental owners fool you with photo angles and withheld details but the Happy House was even better than its online presence. My dog and I will definitely be back again and again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Boathouse very much! It was very clean, well equipped and charmingly decorated. The location is perfect--peaceful and lovely, yet close to the shops and restaurants in downtown Wimberley. We hope to visit again in the future. Thanks for being a great host, Gabe!
