Cottage vacation rentals in Colwell Bay

We had a fantastic week away at Stag Cottage. Cindy and Lina couldn’t have been more welcoming. The cottage is very cosy in beautiful surroundings. Stag cottage was very clean, and stocked with everything you could need. The generous hamper and welcome gifts were very much appreciated. We loved using the games room and hot tub. Cindy was so responsive from the initial enquiry and it always felt that nothing was too much trouble. Would highly recommend and we will be to our friends and family. Hope to be back in the future. Lovely stay at Pig Cottage. From the moment you walked you in, set the scene with what to expect with the accommodation- it really did not disappoint. The cottage was very secure and we felt at ease with our 2 dogs to leisurely walk round the grounds of Pig Cottage. Clean, spacious and plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Nice little touches like the bath, shower and hot tub. Local amenities were near by, with cosy pubs just down the road. Great hosts - thank you so much for having us ☺️

We had such an amazing stay at Jane's place for my boyfriend's birthday! The space was super clean, cosy and had everything we needed to feel right at home. The hot tub was a total highlight! Our host was friendly and made sure everything went smoothly. It was the perfect spot to relax and celebrate, and we’re already talking about coming back. Highly recommend!

We spent a lovely few days in the New Forest at Joce and David’s. The reviews are all spot on - this place is set up so perfectly for a young family and our two year old had the time of his life visiting the animals galore, riding the tractor, playing in the garden and playing with the good stock of toys in the house. Joce and David are just really lovely people who are keen to do everything to ensure you have a great stay and enjoy the area, with some great recommendations. Fab to have an enclosed, dog friendly space too. The cottage is located really well to make the most of the area, with so much to do and see within c.20 minutes’ drive. We’ll be back!

Beautiful home and very well equipped with everything you could need for a fun, family stay. There’s so much to do at the house there was very little reason to leave. I would say the home is much larger than it appears in the photos also, particularly downstairs. We went over Christmas and very much appreciated the addition of the Christmas trees 🎄 to get us in the spirit.

We had a wonderful short stay here, an amazing place with so many extra little touches. Fabulous hot tub, really comfortable living room and bedroom, well-stocked kitchen and bathroom. Felt completely private, so quiet, and easy to walk to pubs and Fordingbridge. Can't really think of anything that was missing 😊

Neil was a great host. Extremely welcoming and was quick to alert us to any issues. The property was clean, spacious and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! We had a wonderful weekend and would love to stay again. Many thanks!

A beautiful & peaceful weekend getaway - it was all extremely clean, a very well fitted kitchen with everything you’d need, and homely cosy features. It was the perfect place to hide away from the winter storm!

Very nice place to stay which is pet friendly. Great location in the old part of Shanklin. Close to pubs and restaurants and not too far from town centre or beach. Oh and a parking space which is always nice.

Our family of three had a weekend away at Manor Farm cottage, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The cottage and farm have loads of character and Hilary was such a gracious host, inviting our son to help feed the chickens in the morning. We were grateful for her recommendations for local walks in the New Forest, and our son was especially happy with the ample supply of toys and books in the evenings. Thanks again for the warm hospitality.

We had a fantastic stay in Big Bucks cottage - it’s perfect for a family of four and equipped with everything we needed. The beds are comfortable, bathrooms clean, and kitchen a great size. The garden was fab for our puppy too. We all loved it and would definitely recommend as a base for exploring the Island.

The air bnb was amazing, open planned, spacious, clever design, nice log fire, quiet location well equipped. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again from Tim and Gemma

Me and my boyfriend had such a lovely few days, it had everything we needed and more. The coal fire was a cosy addition, definitely got us feeling festive. The location is great, we went on multiple walks, one to dancing ledge which was amazing. Would highly recommend Ian’s Airbnb, it was perfect!

This was a 30'th Birthday treat for my son and his fiancée. They really loved the Cottage and location. Ruth was very helping in all things. Would recommend :)

This is a lovely place in the middle of the Isle of Wight making it handy for whenever the day takes you. It has beautiful views over the adjacent field of wild flowers and sheep. What a beautiful sight to wake up to!

Lovely private bungalow in a quiet setting, it was perfect for our young family. The house was lovely and spacious, perfectly clean and comfortable and really well equipped. We also really appreciated the toys/high chair etc for our toddler. Ponies and donkeys within walking distance (even for the 2 year old). Thanks for the stay, we’d definitely recommend it!

Spacious, very comfortable cottage in a beautiful estate in the New Forest, with wildlife all around you. Perfect location from which to explore the area. Sandra welcomed us on arrival and provided a lot of useful information.

We thoroughly enjoyed our few days, relaxing in the countryside. We loved the wood burning stove and exploring the woods around the cottage. Hazel was warm and welcoming. During Storm Darragh she went out of her way to make sure we warm, safe and had all the supplies we needed - advising us to stay beyond our official check-out time until it was safe to leave. A first class host.

The Cot was exactly as described and the pictures don’t quite do it justice. If you are looking for a cosy but spotlessly clean place to explore the area it is highly recommended.

We had the immense pleasure of staying at this beautiful cottage last year ans were delighted to return! The cottage was exactly as we remembered; pristine, so cosy and comfortable, and ideally located right by the quay and within walking distance to shops, the habour, restaurants and train station. Lucy is the perfect host, and helped to make our stay so special with her care and attention. We highly recommend both Lucy and this cottage and cannot wait to book again!
