Had a great weekend stay with friends at Chastain Haus!!! The home had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our stay. It was close to many places of interest and the neighborhood was quiet. Plenty of room and the king beds were a plus!!!

A lovely home in an excellent location. Renovated with all the upgrades in a location you can't beat. Easy walking to the Pearl, CIA & the Riverwalk. This home is spacious, loads of amenities and some extra touches to make it special. Plenty of plugs with both standard and USB outlets. Easily understood labels on switch plates, appliances and the fabulous master shower. Literally steps from the Riverwalk and the Pearl, and yet SO quiet. Felt completely safe and enjoyed it immensely.

My friends and I had a great time here. We felt very welcomed and appreciated. The house was well maintained. We will definitely come back in the future!

A great stay overall. Our crew was a family with adult children, and this was a perfect space for that. We greatly enjoyed the hot tub and multiple decks were nice (they could use refinishing though). Great views of the hill country and good proximity to town. Even with steep hills, the neighborhood was nice for walking. The rooms and space were as described. Overall clean but we did have an issue with some bedsheets. However, the response was immediate, apologetic, and was resolved. We used the grill while we were there and it worked just fine. One thing to note is the sound of the floors. If you're in one of the downstairs rooms and there is activity in the kitchen and living room above, you will hear it. Not much can be done about that, just a note for light sleepers. Should I be in the Canyon Lake area with a group, I would stay again.

I cant express how much we loved this place. Morgan went above and beyond to have the place ready for us as we were a last minute booking. Our other booking unfortunately was not ready for us as planned and we had nowhere to go! Morgan responded quickly every time and gave us plenty of updates. She was an excellent host throughout the stay. The property is beautiful, peaceful, serene and feels very private especially in the backyard. There are deer roaming around but not in our proper backyard, but just behind the fence. You can sit outside or inside all day and feel like nature is all around you. The design of the home is absolutely perfect and open. Spacious kitchen. Plenty of space to lounge and relax. This booking saved our trip and was absolutely amazing!!! The indoor electric fire place felt like an added luxury!!

One of my new favorites on here. The pictures do not do it justice! This place was beautiful and zen. Everything was easy to use and accessible. Axel made it easy for us with friendly reminders. I love how it is decorated inside and I love the outside as well. My love and I had an amazing weekend here. The jacuzzi was his favorite, as it was a cold night but the tub was ready to go for us already and we watched our favorite show on Amazon prime on the big screen tv outside while soaking. It was perfect! I would 100% book this place again.

Such a nice peaceful place nestled in beautiful trees. The house is extremely private and perfect for a quiet getaway!

I have never been able to stay at such a beautiful, enchanting accommodation at such a great price point! The entire property is like stepping into a dream and the villa itself is unreal. The pool, hot tub, outdoor shower, and greenery are incredible! Check in and out are easy and their welcome binder makes every villa process easy to figure out. Barbara is such a kind, phenomenal host who I cannot say enough good things about! The property manager is wonderful as well. They are absolutely the heart of this place! It is so clear that this is a labor of love and I am so grateful for having the chance to have spent just over a week here. There is even a book with local recommendations for guests! I highly recommend this villa for any person or group and am already looking at return possibilities to see how soon my best friend and I are able to come back. We had the best trip of our lives!

We had a really nice stay with our family over the holidays. The home is beautiful, is furnished nicely, and has a great kitchen. The backyard was really beautiful and has a nice pool and hottub. The only downside we experienced was some water heating and pressure issues - the shower running heavily affected the water pressure in other parts of the house like the kitchen sink or the other shower. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Travis was an exceptional host. He was quick to communicate if anything was needed and offered multiple amenities. The space itself is very private, great for photos especially around the lake, it's just you and nature. If the weather wasn't so cold we definitely would've hit the water. Hadn't ever heard of spicewood before, but would come again! Thank you again Travis!

My wife and I had a great time. The accommodations were impeccable. The Villa is relaxing and stress free. It’s a great place to get away and enjoy nature. We can’t wait to go back. The only thing, my wife wants me to buy her a donkey now. 5 Stars!!!

This was our 2nd time staying at Sandi’s place and just like the 1st time we had a good time. There’s so much to do on the property (for all ages). The host are super nice and friendly and you discover something new every time you visit. Much larger in person than in photos! Very clean. So beautiful and cozy for a couples getaway. Tucked away on a hill. Has everything you need for a weekend. Blue Hole has some of the prettiest water we’ve ever seen. Cant wait to come back in the Spring! We found plenty of firewood in the entrance to the cabins area. some great Oak and Mesquite! Bring gloves to gather wood if you don’t bring your own — lots of spiders and country bugs outside in the brush. We loved the native plants in the garden and the fossilized rocks up front. Check out Pioneer Towns Country Boy Museum! It’s like time traveling to the 1800’s. Very magical little town, Wimberley. We loved it.

100% would recommend staying here. It’s really clean and super quiet, definitely a great spot if you just want to relax and enjoy the stay. It’s great that it’s so close to the grocery store and the city isn’t super far either but far enough to where it feels peaceful. Loved it!

What an awesome spot for a weekend away! We could not be happier with our stay at this cute little cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed the front porch and coffee in the morning and then hanging out in the back at night enjoying a relaxing fire. Hot tub was great as well! The cabin had everything we needed, was exceptionally clean, and the linens were good quality. The property feels private despite having other airbnbs on the property as they are well spaced. We would happily stay here again!

Had an excellent stay . Felt relaxed enjoying all the nature and amenities. Away from distractioms but close enough to town for any needs. I deffinitely recommend!
