me and the family had a small get away before we went to the rattle snake round up in Sweetwater.... I absolutely loved the house was so spacious... had really awesome appliances in the kitchen that came in very handy we wanted to BBQ but weather did not permit. bed was super dooper comfy! we enjoyed very much and we would definitely rent again or suggest this spot to anyone

Beautifully remodeled home with awesome amenities. We enjoyed the karaoke machine, games, well stocked coffee supplies, and of course the super Clean and relaxing hot tub. The privacy screen was perfect. Also sweet to include travel size toiletries if needed.

My partner and I and our two small dogs had a great stay! It was a quick visit but we would definitely recommend and stay again if we come to the area. The place was super easy to find and just as easy to get into and find what we needed within. The bed was comfortable and we really appreciated the hot tub after a long day of driving. Thanks Judy!

As a woman traveling alone, Jaci's place made me feel extra safe. This private listing is tucked in nicely behind her home and behind a locked gate. The neighborhood was great but the extra security went a long way for me. Since I arrived after dark, Jaci also met me at the gate to open it for me so I didn't have to fumble trying to figure out how to work an unknown lock at night, her forethought once again made me feel very comfortable and safe. I will stay here again next time I'm passing through.

My family and I had a blast! House was so spacious and able to accommodate everyone’s needs (there were 8 adults, 6 kids, and 4 dogs). Loved the kayaks and how close you are to the lake. Host was very helpful and responsive. Check in and out instructions were easy to follow. If you have a large family (or small) and are looking for a place that is private, peaceful and has beautiful sceneries- this is the place! We kayak, fished, had a fire going outside nightly, and had such a peaceful and relaxing time. So many other amenities as well. Highly recommend!

Felt right at home at Danette's place. The area felt safe and peaceful. I would stay here again if I were in the area.

I honestly can not say enough about this place. SUPER clean and cozy!! Felt right at home. The AC quit working the first night we were there. I contacted Suzanne about the issue and she had a local AC company out within 15 minutes!! She came by while he was working on the unit just to make sure there wasn't anything else that we needed. If memory serves me correctly, this was about 9:30 PM. If you get the chance to stay, you WILL NOT be disappointed!!! So much more positivity I could say about the house and the host but there isn't space for me type all of it!! Thank you Suzanne for being so accommodating and very fast response time! We will be back!!🥰🥰🥰

The house was as described. Safe neighborhood and comfortable beds. Neighbors have a little dog/dogs that bark all night. If you are a light sleeper, this could be irritating.

Texas Gold Lodge was a welcome one-night stay in the middle of a long drive through Texas. It had nice green spaces for the dogs to walk on. I arrived in the middle of an unusual artic blast and Keith had the heater going for me. The cabin was very clean and I appreciated the ability to cook a meal.
