“Lake-life” lovers dream—Brenda is a beautiful, well-appointed house and kitchen with an outstanding panoramic lake view. The bedroom/sleeping configurations are excellent for families traveling with a wide range of ages. Ronald, our host, was responsive, helpful, flexible, and generous. Would highly recommend this stay for people who love low-key lake R&R.

My wife and I had a great stay at the little red barn! It was a beautiful peaceful place to sit and watch the sun come up. Perfect weekend getaway and Rebecca was an extremely helpful and communicative host. We were blessed to be there.

A small home away from home. This cottage is clean, comfortable, with perfect decorations and furniture. Comfy bed and pillows with lots of space for a cottage. Fast Wifi and 2 Roku TVs with climate control in living room and bedroom. A very responsive and helpful host is a major plus. Located in a quiet small neighborhood close to downtown Danville. We enjoyed the outdoor patio, where you can listen to the birds and the river flowing over the dam. A great place to get away to relax and unwind for a bit.

Our family enjoyed our too short of a stay over the thanksgiving holiday! This beautiful home provided all the essentials and space we needed to have a beautiful Thanksgiving feast to enjoy with family! The 2 ovens came in handy to heat our meal. We also had a short drive to enjoy hiking at the Smith Mountain Lake State Park. Would be a beautiful place to stay and visit in the warmer months as well.

My wife and I loved our stay at Vanessa & Elton’s place! We enjoyed exploring the lake by kayak and played lots of pickleball. The amenities in the area were great and the condo had everything we needed and more! Would highly recommend a stay here!

Awesome place to stay for a family vacation. Exceptionally clean, cozy and quiet. Only downside was (2) tvs instead (3) like the listing said, was a key point. Would definitely stay again. Jessica was a great host and responded promptly.

Had a great time here…it’s one of the nicer ones I’ve been to…felt like we were in a post card picture it was so beautiful with the river running through. The host was great too. Would definitely recommend this place.

We would definitely stay here again. Bathrooms and kitchen were spotless. On a clear day we had a beautiful view of the mountains and the valley below. Quaint shopping in Fancy Gap. Check out the wings and a beverage at Creek Bottom Brewing in Galax. Short trip to Mt Airy NC. We left feeling refreshed.
