Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cole Bay

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cliff and it was everything we remembered and more. the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Someone is always cleaning or doing some sort of maintenance to the property to keep it pristine! the pool renovation is beautiful and a fantastic spot to watch the sunsets. the beach is easily accessible and virtually private with very little interruptions other than some boats passing by. the pictures dont do this place justice. my husband made use of the spa amenities everyday with the sauna and steam room, indoor pool, outdoor pool and beach -he essentially had a hydrotherapy circuit routine every morning. this apartment itself is well maintained and was exactly as advertised. our favorite spot was on the balcony enjoying the perfect views of the ocean. We have so many spots on the island close by as far as restuarants and two grocery/markets. there are also many rest. in a close drive. when we come back to St Martin, i'm staying here again!

Staying at Joe’s place was by far the best decision for an airbnb in St. Maarten. Between a beautiful private beach off The Cliff, an awesome infinity pool, and wide patio with a view of- I couldve stayed there the whole time and been content with the trip. The near by restaurants, grocery stores and things to do less than a mile or so drive made everything so convenient. Will certainly be coming back!

Joy and Dale are wonderful hosts. Great communication, easy check in. Condo is located in the middle of everything, if you are going to Sint Maartin this is where you want to stay. Close to Maho beech good restaurants and night life all in walking distance. Thanks again Joy and Dale

Superb! Everything was perfect. Florence and Nicole were excellent hosts, easily reachable and an abundant source of information. Check-in was simple and in-person with a full explanation of how things work. The apartment was super clean with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. And the location is ideal, very quiet with an amazing view. Total relaxation. It is only a 5-10 minute drive to either coast and the beautiful beaches and fantastic restaurants. There is also a supermarket a 2-3 minute drive away. We did have one issue though, a leaky toilet which was fixed within hours of me notifying Florence. Now that’s service! All in all, it was an excellent stay. The hosts truly are accommodating and really strive to make your stay comfortable. Highly recommend.

As always, the penthouse is an incredible place to stay! We feel at home with all the great amenities and being right on the water is priceless. We can walk to so many places in Simpson Bay which makes it great to either walk or drive somewhere further.

Amazing place to stay with family or by yourself! Very clean, peaceful, neat, quiet neighborhood and a bunch of great restaurants around. Easy and quick walking to the beach. Plus Veronique was always available and responsive.

We had a wonderful Christmas trip here. The villa was very comfortable and had beautiful views. The staff were friendly and when our door lock stopped working they were very responsive (even at 8pm on Christmas Day). The pool was perfect!! We hope to come back again someday. Perfect place to stay for all ages. Thank you for sharing your amazing place with us.

We had a good time there. 9 people had plenty of room. Convenient to orient beach but also to supermarkets, restaurants, and specialty stores. Very quiet area and secure. Denis was a great host and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Nice showers and plenty of hot water.

This villa was absolutely stunning and had everything we needed for our stay, as two families with young children. It was minutes from the airport and close to many beautiful beaches and dining options. A car is necessary to get around. We spent lots of time in the pool, enjoying views of the ocean and the sunset in the evening. The villa was also immaculately clean and well maintained. Each room had its own bathroom, as well as an outdoor shower or bath option which we really enjoyed. The only thing to note is the entrance to the third bedroom is from the patio and not the villa itself. It wasn't a big issue for us however, as it was only a few short steps to the villa and we brought cameras to monitor our children in their room at night. All in all, we highly recommend this villa and would come back!

We had a real crush on this condo. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by the impeccable cleanliness of the place. It was like the condo was brand new, never inhabited before us. Every nook and nook shone, which immediately created a sense of comfort and serenity. A huge thank you to Mr. Ricard, their manager, who welcomed us on site with great warmth and professionalism. He answered any questions we had throughout our stay, which was a great help and made our experience even more enjoyable. Our hosts have also demonstrated an exceptional attention to detail. Everything has been thought out to make our stay memorable, from the little touches to the perfect layout of the spaces. It feels like they put a lot of love and care into their hospitality, and it makes all the difference. We recommend this place without hesitation. Damiens Apartment is situated in a former hotel, now residence area, so its very quiet. there is direct access to the beach, but while we were there there were a lot of algae, so walking till to the beach chairs and bars took about 15-20min walking on the beach. If you drive its about 10 min drive away to the main square of the beach with all the restaurants and the beach bars. directly at the grounds is a pizzeria which is great for your first day, when you dont havr the energy to go anywhere and still get food. Two other good restaurants are a 2-5 min by car and the supermarket is also just about 5 min away by car and no matter where you are going you always pass the supermarket, so its convenient that its on the way. Contact with Damien was good, he always replied fast. At the beginning we would have wished for a little bit better communication about the water cuts due to a break in the water facility on the french side, but after we asked he sent us to links to newspapers where we could look up the times ourselves. You definitely need a car and there was enough parking space on the grounds. overall we enjoyed our stay at Damiens apartment!

We stayed at Villa Azur for 2 weeks and had a great time. The villa’s location is in a quiet and safe neighborhood, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities we needed. It’s a quick drive to orient bay and near many restaurants, grocery stores. We had no trouble communicating with Guylene and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Such a great spot to stay while exploring the island. A lovely patio to sit and relax with your morning coffee. A good number of spots to eat within walking distance. Kathy provided us with some recommendations on local things to do which was super helpful.

You couldn’t ask for a better location. It’s steps away from some of the best beach bars in Orient Bay. The house has a lovely deck on the 2nd floor with great views of the water and hills. Very peaceful. And there were some very thoughtful welcome amenities provided at checkin. Overall a great stay.

We loved our stay at this little piece of paradise that is conveniently located near all amenities and at the same very private and surrounded by nature. Luc and Lou are amazing hosts, and we really enjoyed their conversations. They are also very helpful with their recommendations on the island. We will be back!

This place is so great that we had to make a return trip. Just like the first time, John's place was excellent. The weather is definitely warm during the summer, so we were thankful for the A/C to keep things cool at night. The pool was great, and the house was stocked with more than enough beach/pool towels to last us all week with 4 people. It was also nice to be able to wash any wet/dirty laundry before packing it up for the return trip. Another wonderful vacation thanks to John's house, we'll definitely be back again (again)!

La Casita Villa was worth every penny! Peter is an amazing host, and truly thought of everything! The kitchen is fully equipped with anything you could need including a coffee maker, French press, blender, bottle opener, etc. And even the finer details have been thought of - for example, there is a cooler that they provide to allow you to bring things to the beach and keep cold. Peter was extremely responsive throughout our stay, and very resourceful. We had a maintenance issue with the fridge and Peter immediately had someone there to fix it. The Airbnb itself is stunning. We travelled with 3 couples and we each had our own room, 2 of which had ocean views. It’s the perfect mix of privacy with each room being separated from one another, while still allowed for the most fun and entertainment in the common areas. We spent a lot of time outside under the new gazebo because we could not get enough of the view! The pool overlooking the ocean at sunset is one we will never forget.

Lockrum Point is a beautiful home with everything you need for a comfortable vacation. The pictures really don't do it justice. The house is beautiful and the view is spectacular. It is set off the main road, but well-marked (by Caribbean standards) and it is very private and secluded. We felt very safe at all times. Sue was very responsive and answered all of my (many) questions. Her manager, Marcia, is wonderful as well. Thank you for the "goodies" upon check-in. We loved the pool and the outdoor shower and sitting on the pool deck at night counting stars.

Thierry’s house was perfect, clean, beautifully decorated, lovely outside space, we loved the little pool ….. it was just perfect, the photos don’t do it justice. Colette who met us was lovely too and very helpful We would return in a heartbeat!!
