Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Cobano District

This is a nice little spot to stay at. Josette is awesome, very attentive and kind. She lives in the unit below. The unit is extremely close to the beach and is spotless/kept very clean. It comes with tons of bath and beach towels. The outdoor kitchen is a nice touch and is cool enough at night to get cooking. Great stove, nice fridge… more than equipped in the kitchen. Air conditioning is brand new and wifis as fast as I’ve seen in CR. Heater water… Definitely recommend for remote work… nice patio to hang out on. One caveat, this is in a busy part of town, so it can be a little hectic down at the main road near the unit. If you’re looking for a super quiet and isolated holiday, this might not be the right spot, but for most people it’ll work nicely and is near to all the action. Lastly- one nice touch is the electronic gate. If you have a car or ATV this is very very convenient. Thanks Josette for the hospitality! Pura vida.

This was a great rental. It's clean, bright and private. It's right across the street from the beach and that area of the beach was one of my favourites. If you surf, it's a more intermediate break but there are some days that beginners can make it work. It's also really close to the grocery store and a couple of restaurants. The bed was comfortable and everything worked great. Mariana was very responsive every time I had a question. I definitely recommend this rental.

Well, I am one of the first to review this space so I will add a little more than the normal brief review so you know what to expect… lots of pros, no big cons really. As of this writing this place is basically brand new - probably finished in the past few months. There are still manufacturer stickers on things. Completely pristine. Good workmanship. Bathroom is perfect. Bedroom is perfect - bed is a bit firm but a lot of people like that. I slept well. The bedroom is air conditioned and well-sealed to the outside. The “hanging out space” is fully outside - so the kitchen and living area.. so don’t expect air conditioning in that area. That did not bother me but might not work for some groups. It’s really cute and very nice to sit outside and hear the monkeys and watch the world go by. Right next to a bakery. Short walk to restaurants and a medium sized grocery store. Can also walk to the beach - 7-10 minutes. Hosts were very nice and helpful and we used translator app to chat.

We stayed for 10 days and loved every minute! The atmosphere around the apartment is perfect. Giulia was a wonderful host and such a kind person. As a bonus there’s 4 cats that hangout on the property and they’re so sweet. 10/10 will be staying again!

Great place to stay in Santa Teresa. Close to the supermarket, restaurants and the beach. The place has a private gate which feels very safe. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything you need for your stay. I already want to come back.

We had a great time staying with 8 people. The host was super helpful and gave us great recommendations for things to do. 100% recommend it!

If you find availability to book this slice of paradise, don’t hesitate. My girlfriend and I stayed here for 1 month and Betty is literally the best host you could ask for. She will always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is more comfortable and accommodate your needs. I was working remotely here and was worried about the wifi and Betty went ahead and upgraded the internet to the highest speed to accommodate me and it was perfect for work. Betty’s place is perfectly located in the best part of Santa Teresa, just far enough from the dust and noise of the strip to have peace. It’s a short 7 min walk to the beach and the walk back is uphill (ATV recommended) but is worth the spectacular view. The place is very clean and well designed, with fans provided. One of my favourite things to do was watch the sunrise from the property’s helicopter landing pad in the morning. There is a worker onsite that helps with cleaning and made the place feel secure. This place is a hidden gem.

Lovely and spacious apartment for two, 5 min from the beach and close to restaurants, shops and bars. Apartment was just like the photos, and had a lovely balcony to enjoy breakfast. Alejandro was very responsive and helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed it and can highly recommend this place! We hope to be back in the future!

A lovely place that met all our needs. Nice surroundings with a lovely pool. The place have a really good vibe and the owners Lucia and Leo were so friendly and helpful with everything. We really enjoyed our time here. There is a Soda just 350 m down the road (Sabor de Mar) which serve absolute excellent food and have a lovely staff.

Magic place, amazing people

This is a tricky review to write because this place is an absolute hidden gem and tbh I’d love to be able to keep the secret to myself. It’s only been on Airbnb a short time, so we took a bit of a risk booking it. But this is without doubt one of the best places to stay in Santa (and I’ve stayed in ST for months cumulatively over the years). This feels like a family home and you feel like you’re in your own personal oversized hobbit home as it beautifully blends into its surroundings! The view, pool and spaces are first class. But it’s the added extras that really set it apart… the pickleball court… Marisel who is great and was available anytime to help… the private steps all the way to the street…the pool waterfall and even a fully walkable grass roof that makes the perfect spot to watch the sunset! Top place.

Very pretty home, it is bigger than it seems. Excellent location, safe and close to Santa Teresa’s main street and beaches. We only encountered 2 problems: there is no microwave, which is a problem is you plan to reheat prepared food, and the fan in one of the rooms did not work.

Avenida Cielo is a closed street making it very quiant and cozy. Walking down the beach with a fresh coffee and coconut cream to start the day was just what we needed! Stephane is very attentive, friendly and gives great local recomendations - made us feel very comfortable. Pura Vida!

Our family had an amazing time at the Villa! The spacious common area was perfect for spending quality time together, while the private rooms provided a peaceful retreat when needed. It’s a wonderful balance of shared and private spaces, making it ideal for families or groups. Highly recommended!
