Family-friendly vacation rentals in Coal Harbour, Norgate

Jenny was a great host and her place was perfect for us. The apartment is spacious and clean. Checking in and out was so easy and Jenny was responsive when we had questions. The apartment was the perfect setup for our group (two couples with a baby). The rooms were on opposite sides to give privacy with a shared space in the middle. The neighborhood is nice and we felt safe during the day and at night. We would 100% stay there again and highly recommend if you have a car.

We loved staying here at. We ate from North Vancouver but living in the US these days so it was nice to be back. We had our two very young kids with us and appreciated all the toys, crib and kid friendly things at their house. The house is spacious and the backyard is great. Edgemont village (walking distance to coffee, bakery, pharmacy) was super handy. Vancouver tourist attractions nearby and quiet neighbourhood. It was great, thanks for having us!

This location was amazing. My family and 3 kids stayed here and had a perfect time exploring the city. Michi was super responsive to any questions we had. Their home was beautiful, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend as a good launching point to explore Vancouver.

If you are thinking of staying at Lauren’s House, do not hesitate - the photos do not do it justice. Lauren has great taste and my wife and I have taken one or two ideas from the way Lauren has designed and laid out the living room / kitchen. The flow of the living space is great and the oversized deck is great for relaxing and dining on. Add to that Lauren’s husband’s amazingly user friendly and consistent has bbq and you’ve got all the key ingredients for a great family holiday.

We had a great time staying at Darren’s place. It’s exactly as described, close to restaurants and easy to get around the city from.

Our goal for our week in Vancouver was to enjoy the love and fun of Family. We chose Tonya’s home because it had plenty of space for all eleven family members and it was only minutes away from downtown. When we arrived, Tonya and Russ were kind enough to give us a quick tour of their home’s various systems so that we could use them. Our overall first reaction was that the airbnb photos did not do their home justice. Beds and baths were fresh and spacious, and the multiple gathering areas – outside back, outside side, open kitchen and family room, downstairs game room – made it easy to engage with other members of our family. Their open kitchen was able to handle the talents of our multiple chefs. We dipped in the hot tub, played basketball, corn hole, eight-ball, and charades. Even the photos on the walls of Tonya’s family supported the theme and made us feel very welcome. We can recommend their home without reserve.

Quinn was a wonderful host and we felt so lucky to stay at this house. The vibe is very cozy and the little design touches are much appreciated! Also this is one of the better stocked Airbnb kitchens I have seen: they literally have every food staple or piece of equipment you can think of and more! Quinn also knew we were visiting for Eras and left us a friendship bracelet making kit: extremely thoughtful! It was an easy, relaxing stay. We would absolutely return again.

Sharon was wonderful from start to finish and the place was perfect for our little weekend friend getaway. The house is beautiful, conveniently located, and we thought even better than described. Everyone had such wonderful things to say. Thank you Sharon for hosting us! Five stars in all regards.

Second time we have stayed here and loved it. Great location with easy access to transit to get downtown quickly, lots of great restaurants and things to do on Commercial Drive, very walkable. We love being near the park for playground and dog walking too. Mieke is a wonderful host and always quick to respond. We look forward to coming back again to what feels like our home in Vancouver!

Maria and Danny were very welcoming and seemed willing to do whatever they could to make our stay easy and convenient! Their guest suite was even more beautiful than shown in the photos - there were thoughtful touches everywhere, and we could tell that a lot of effort had been put into keeping the peaceful, beachy scheme, even down to a set of turquoise knives in the knife block! Everything was high quality and the furniture was lovely and comfortable. The suite was spotlessly clean and we felt completely comfortable there. If you're planning on visiting the PNE, it is literally across the road - you can see the rides from the window! We also saved on parking as it was an easy, maybe 5 minute walk from the suite to the park entrance, so we were able to leave our vehicle in their guest parking space. Maria and Danny make sure guests have everything they could possibly need! We would happily recommend their suite to everyone :)

Gail's house was the perfect accommodation for the month-long Vancouver trip of our big family. The three spacious rooms, many beds, and the well-equipped kitchen made everything a breeze. The location and the view is nothing short of fantastic. Full view of Greater Vancouver in the sunset, and morning walks on the hill's serpentine roads create a very relaxing environment. Having a car is highly recommended, with easy accessibility and parking. Gail was a very responsive host, helping us out with anything we needed. We have experienced zero problems with the accommodation throughout the month.

One of my all time favorite stays. Tabitha is a wonderful host and her place is perfect. Highly recommend and I hope to be back for a visit. Peaceful, comfortable, beautiful property, close to restaurants, grocery stores and an excellent bus system. Do yourself a favor and stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay! Kristen is a great host. Her place is well appointed and very clean. We loved going for afternoon walks in the park and around the lake, just past the back gate.

We have stayed at several airbnbs in the area over the past week and Carolyn’s place certainly stands out in a good way! As we are locals, we were looking for a place to go about our regular routines and this spot was PERFECT. The kitchen is extremely well stocked (Tupperware, blender, all things needed for cooking etc). The whole living area is spacious and cozy, with great extra touches (like bathrobes, toys, etc). Also, everything was very clean!! The outdoor space was perfect for our toddler and dog. The hosts were friendly and very accessible throughout our 6 night stay. Thank you again!

This place was in a perfect location for going to BC Place or Rogers Arena, the arena is literally across the street. Beautiful view of the harbour and it was a great spot. Area felt safe, easy to access by train if needed too. We all agreed it was a nice spot to stay for a game. Nice shower and everything was clean and tidy. The lock could use an app to lock and unlock which was handy. We were within walking distance of downtown restaurants as well. Being on the 35th floor meant it was a little quieter. There was a Costco about a 1 min walk away too which was great for getting food and supplies. Would recommend this place to anyone. Would be good for a family of 4, a couple couples, or a group of 3-4.

While I witnessed guests of OTHER airbnb hosts in the building struggle with access, I had no problems. Shan provided excellent instructions for us to gain entrance to their building and secured parking. Yes, the area outside at street level can occasionally be loud with late night revelers and homeless people. And yes, you don't have to walk far to witness drug use in public at night. But we never felt unsafe, and these issues were far outweighed by the numerous positives. The location and view, with close proximity to Gastown, tons of restaurants, coffee houses, the Sky Train, Rogers Arena, Robson Street not far, and even a little Costco hidden around the corner, make this location excellent. Shan's condo provided everything we needed inside, while the surrounding area provided everything we needed within walking distance outside. Great airbnb for a fair price. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Definitely recommend.

It was a great stay. We really enjoyed the neighborhood proximity to area attractions and great restaurants. We also enjoyed the staff for their kindness.

Shea’s place was incredible, it was so cozy, well decorated and the views of English Bay from the apartment were nice. We stayed overnight for a concert in Vancouver and it was the perfect spot being close to great restaurants on Davie. The rooftop patio is also a great feat! Shea was a wonderful host, friendly and super hospitable. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Ryan is a super host and his apartment had the best location for the event we attended at BC Place. 5-10 minute walk. His apartment is literally stocked with everything for a great stay. Right across the street from great grocery store so you can whip up some food if you want to stay in. He also left wine and chocolate and a fridge with some drinks. His kitchen is well stocked with spices and all the equipment you need. He has supplied the pad with a notebook of instructions. Highly recommend his place. We hope to stay again. Vancouver is a blast!!!

Lesley and Adam were amazing hosts to interact with. They remained extremely responsive and had great recommendations! Highly recommend this unit to anyone going to Rogers Arena or BC Place, right next door!! Costco is nearby for stocking up and we had great walks to Gastown and local restaurants! Also, the listing mentions a washer and "drying rack", but they have installed a dryer in unit, which is great! I will be back here again next time i'm in BC!

Mona was always quick to respond and helpful with recommendations on what to do around Vancouver.

Very comfortable home. I know some people might find the bed in a closet weird, but the pictures appropriately captured that. Plus it was great for our kids because we didn't need to worry about early wake ups because the room stayed dark! And gave them a separate sleep space. We really appreciated the AC units. Everything was great!
