Clarksdale is ground zero location for exploring the Mississippi Blues Trail. We chose to stay at this location of the Birthplace of the Blues for easy access to music venues and day trips to absorb the sights, sounds, and stories of what makes the Mississippi Delta so intriguing. Robin’s home is in the historic district, a short distance away from town. It is clean, comfortable and well-appointed. It is handsomely decorated and the walls are adorned with interesting artwork that captures the charm of the area. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils to cook with, dishes, etc. The beds were comfortable, plenty of closet and dresser space. The bathroom was spotless and is equipped with a large supply of towels, soap, shampoo, etc. Communication was prompt and thorough. Robin provides a quality guest experience.

We stayed here for the Juke Joint festival in Clarksdale. It was about a 15 minute drive, and we loved the rural proximity to Clarksdale. The location was safe and it was great to have washer and dryer access. We appreciated the beautiful stars and song birds, spaciousness of the accommodation, and responsiveness of the host.

I apologize for the late post, but I wanted to take a moment to share our experience. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at your childhood home for the weekend, and it was truly a wonderful visit. When we first arrived, we had a minor issue with the garage door, but once I reached out, someone quickly came over to fix it. I really appreciate your prompt attention to that. The house had everything we needed, and it was so comforting to feel right at home. We also had the chance to meet Miss Barnes, who was such a sweet, kind, and gentle neighbor. Thank you again for allowing us the opportunity. Clarksdale is my hometown, and I absolutely enjoy coming back. I’ll definitely be reaching out the next time I'm in town!

I liked the home location. My mom is 86 and felt safe. Overall I will definitely recommend this home away from home

Wonderful rental!! We were in town for a wedding and the place was perfect for what we needed!! Loved the back deck area, and wished we had more time to relax by the fire pit! We ate breakfast at Yazoo Pass and it was wonderful!!

Perfect authentic stay with a location that couldn’t be better for checking out Clarksdale. GOTTA check out Bad Apple Blues Club if you get a chance. 2 min walk from the BnB.

We were in town for Juke Joint Fest. We were very welcomed by Kevin's laid back friendly demeanor, communication and accommodating a late checkout. He's a local musician and can recommend the best shows or clubs to see live music and specifically blues. Kevin lives in the front house and the back house is the rental. The back bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room to spread out in the open living room and kitchen area. Nice travel toiletries and morning coffee pods. The nightly price for this weekend was rather high but we booked last minute and were happy to find a nice place to stay only a five minute drive from downtown Clarksdale on perhaps their biggest weekend, Juke Joint Fest. We highly recommend staying here when visiting such a fun and welcoming town on The Blues Trail.
