Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clatsop County

This was our third stay here and we’ve loved every visit! There’s a huge field between the house and the beach that is teaming with wildlife! We saw a herd of elk head past the house to the beach during this visit! The house is close to all the action, while also being far enough away that it feels so peaceful! The house is clean, the beds are comfy, and the porch is a great place for relaxing! We are always very happy with our stay here!!

Our stay exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the host had thought of everything to make the stay comfortable and convenient. The home was impeccably clean and created a warm and inviting atmosphere. Every room was fully stocked—not just with the essentials, but also with thoughtful extras. Every detail was covered! The location was unbeatable, just a short walk to the heart of Seaside. Waking up to coffee with a view of the river was absolutely magical. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Can’t wait to return!

Handful of elk greeted us as we checked in & the beach entrance is an easy 3 min walk from the front door. Haystack Rock is about a 10-15 min walk from the beach entrance. We loved how close the beach was & that it was a walkable distance to Pelican Brewing. A very cozy & welcoming home. Would definitely stay again!

The whole family loved the house, clean, comfortable, worm and clean. The one off point was the hot tub. We were there for 2 nights first night great no issues. 5 adults and my 6 year old son. Got out covered and forgot about it. Next night went to get in and the water was only 71 degrees. After looking up in the internet found out had to add water. 4 hours later it was only up to 91 degrees. Wish there was some kind of instructions to add water level line when getting out. House was great more clarity on hot tub is all I have to say

Great place to stay in Gearheart! Home is exactly as described and more spacious than you can see from the pictures. Our group was in town for a wedding at McMenamins and we loved being able to easily walk over there and to the beach.

Phillip’s oceanfront home was a wonderful quiet place to spend our Thanksgiving holiday. It was dog friendly, with gates to keep her on the deck while we enjoyed the hot tub. The beach was a short walk across the dune, a great sunset spot when weather allowed. Check in was easy and we had no problems with the home. Phillip was very generous, and easy to communicate with. I look forward to returning!

Loved staying at this home. James contact us as soon as we booked to thank us and welcome us. We felt at home from the time we arrived. The location was close to all the places we wanted to visit and the morning walks on the beach were amazing. The street is quiet and neightbors are all friendly. The home has everything we needed for comfort.

What a gem! Cute, cosy cottage just steps from the beach. We loved playing the board games during our rainy windy weekend!

Very clean , good furniture. She had pictures of where to go and how to get in. which I really like and is so helpful getting into a new place. Good bed , great pillows. Bathroom was very clean and shower was very good.. Have nothing negative to say about Sheila's place .

My boyfriend and I stayed at Kathleen's listing for our anniversary. Overall we did enjoy our stay. There was a lot to do within driving distance. We enjoyed the bars/restaurants within walking distance especially! The space was clean and well taken care of. We loved the heating units in apartment. It kept the space nice and cozy the whole time we were there. There was a small issue of lighting in the kitchen area. Kathleen was very apologetic and offered to come replace the bulbs. We declined since we were out for most of the trip. The light from the bathroom and bedroom were enough! The bed was listed as a queen, but it felt more like a full. Our sleep was so-so. As stated in the listing, the stairs leading up to the apartment are steep. The railing chosen was skinny, making it feel kind of unsafe. Especially going down. Minus those things, I WOULD recommend Kathleen's space to everyone! It's quaint and close to everything in Astoria. Thank you for letting us stay, Kathleen!

Lovely charming spot in the heart of Astoria. Very comfortable and roomy. We loved being able to walk right out to town and wander all about. Astoria is really fun and lots to do and eat and explore. Plus liberty theatre is a great venue for Oregonian bands!

We thoroughly enjoyed this beautifully restored and updated home. Three couples felt right at home and had plenty of space. We enjoyed the covered porch, modern kitchen, and lovely, uncluttered decor. We all agreed we would stay here again next time we explore the Astoria area.

You know those great places you get to stay? And sometimes want to minimize your trip to keep a gem to yourself? This is one of those places. We absolutely love it.

Jamie's place was perfection. My son and i came for a first visit to Cannon Beach and our home away from home was perfection. Very comfortable, location to grocery store is walkable nd short distance to town, beach and hikes. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back!

The room was perfect. Clean and looked exactly like the pictures. I definitely had was was needed for a weekend stay. I would definitely stay here again next time I head to Seaside.

The condo was perfect for our 3 night stay. Lovely kitchen, good bed, functional bathroom and closet. We walked to everything. Thank you for a great week-end.

Location right at the north end of Seaside, OR Promenade…and just a short walk to Seaside’s beach and downtown shops and restaurants. Great view of the dunes & beach for King Tides. VERY dog friendly with towels & treat. Host was very responsive and proactive. We had a GREAT stay and will return.

Overall an awesome beach retreat. Super clean. Very proactive hosts that kept in touch to ensure a good experience. Bed was softer than we like but was very clean with lots of pillows. New(ish) appliances. Two bathrooms was nice. Full size kitchen table allowed for roomy board game activities. Chairs indoors and outdoors for watching the sunset. Location is ideal for walking to some of the best restaurants in Seaside.

My girlfriend and I stayed here while visiting friends in Seaside. It was cozy, had a great view in the ocean and we could easily walk downtown for some fun nights out. We will stay here again next time we visit. Thanks!!
