Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Clarke County

We stayed at this house for my bachelorette party and had a blast! It is spacious and the area is beautiful and very private. You do have to go down some rough, bumpy gravel roads to get to it. The beds were comfortable and we were excited to find an extra twin bed in the attached apartment. It was perfect for a large group. One note I have is there was no TV in the main living room.

Bear Chase Cottage is just lovely. It is way more spacious than the pictures can show. We loved having a fireplace. It was cold the weekend we were there, and it was so nice to be warm by the fire. Very relaxing. Bedrooms are perfect size, and the beds are very comfortable. Very nice to have 2 bathrooms. The fenced yard is great. Our greyhounds enjoyed running around the yard. Hopefully we will get to stay again!

We had a lovely stay. The house was charming, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The location was the perfect combo of serene nature and in-town convenience. We will be back!

Looks exactly like the photos! Everything was so clean & the kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need for the weekend and more!! The hot tub was also super clean and perfect for the colder nights. The entire house felt so cozy & was perfect for a weekend getaway. Host answered very quickly and check in was super easy! Highly recommend :)

Our group enjoyed our stay here! The house was the perfect size and a very cozy place for a nice small mountain town getaway. We loved being so close to Main Street and places to hike.

Lesley was such a pleasant host. We were only there for one night but will definitely keep this lovely home on the list for our next family trip. The location was extremely easy to navigate and there were plenty of restaurants and shopping just around the corner which made the stay more enjoyable. We were there with our sons (15 & 12) and they were immediately comfortable in the cozy and well designed space. Thanks again for your hospitality!

This was not our first time staying here. Our host, Judy, is friendly, responsive, and just overall nice. We will be staying here again.

Cindy’s garage apartment was beautiful and well-stocked with all of the snacks and basics we could need. There’s even a dog washing station in the garage, and an electric car charger should you need. She provides a $25 gift certificate each night stayed to a local vineyard, brewery to restaurant, and there are many to choose from just a short 5-10 minute drive from the Airbnb! It was peak foliage when we went, and we had dinner at Magnolias at the Mill. We also checked out Bluemont Station Winery & Brewery, Bluemont Vineyard, Great Country Farms, Dirt Farm Brewing, and More Better (highly recommend!). All of these places were beautiful, dog-friendly and a short drive! If you are a light sleeper or want to sleep in, bring an eye mask as there is a large skylight right over the bed!

The place was charming, well stocked and very comfortable. The communication was great and we would definitely rent again.

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The home is directly on the Potomac river with beautiful river views. The home is a split duplex and you have an adorable apartment all to yourself with a wood fireplace, 2 bedrooms, walk in shower, and direct access to the hot tub overlooking the water. You barely notice the upstairs apartment other than the occasional sounds of footsteps above. All tvs are smart tvs with steaming capability. The hosts are very friendly and have excellent restaurant recommendations! This is a hidden gem and a great deal!

Celebrated a birthday and retirement with a friend at Kay's. Kay from the start was helpful and the hospitality was amazing. Her details and care highlighting the birthday and retirement were so thoughtful. Sweet notes and momentos sprinkled throughout the place. Treats in each room.. and if you love animals the care she has for her beautiful horses and dogs is so tender. Kay will gladly introduce them to you. The property itself is a slice of heaven. The interior is cozy and so inviting. Comfortable bed and extremely clean. We wish we could have stayed longer and definitely want to come back.

Wonderful little gem in the heart of Old Town Winchester! We would definitely stay on our next visit to Winchester.

Bonnie’s inn was absolutely perfect! We were able to walk to many attractions nearby in Bolivar and Harpers Ferry, including The Barn for live music and The Rabbit hole for dinner. Bonnie provided us with everything we needed for our stay and gave us great recommendations for things to do.

Dan’s home is like stepping into a home of history and adventure. There are many pieces to view of his endless journeys throughout the world. The home is situated on a high bluff overlooking the Potomac. The views are gorgeous and many birds can be seen and heard. The gardens and plantings around the house breathe life to the landscape. The home itself is updated with high end kitchen and baths. Master bedroom is spacious with an en-suite bath. 3 other bedrooms are very nice as well. Our stay was lovely and would recommend this home highly.

Our stay was amazing! The pool was excellent! The rooms were spacious and clean.

We very much enjoyed the property - 10 acres, wooded, gym, jacuzzi and sauna - and made the stay so enjoyable. There is a sense of peace and relaxation that accompanies you here. The privacy is amazing, and yet you can drive to Front Royal cute downtown in 20 mins!! Hiking trails are awesome too! Thank you for being so responsive, and providing clear instructions to use all the amenities for the property.

This is such a special place with so many areas to relax and enjoy the property from the beach and Cabana, to the Lily Pad. We enjoyed the walking paths and areas to watch the passing trains. The villa had views from every room and was well designed with quarry artwork and signage. It was clean and well equipped with plenty of towels for our 6 guests and everything we needed for prepping meals in the kitchen. The added touches of a s’mores kit, games, guides, toddler safety, nightlights and sound machines were so thoughtful. Alexis stayed in touch throughout, provided good info within the villa, we heard minimal noise from the unit upstairs and appreciated the proximity to several towns in the area. It felt like a resort in the middle of Harper’s Ferry! Thank you for such a great weekend, our family so needed a vacation like this after what has been a difficult year. Very appreciative.
