Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Clark County

This is our 2nd trip back to Margo’s to enjoy a relaxing weekend. This place is homey and has a good amount of privacy. I love that they added privacy fences to make sure the neighbors can’t see you. The white noise machines in each room are so great to have. The stream is so relaxing and the hot tub is lovely even in 25 degree weather! Able to control the thermostat however you like and a separate unit in master with ceiling fan! The La Cabaña Mexican restaurant is the best around. It’s nice to have Kroger on the way in we stopped at and didn’t have to leave unless we wanted! See ya again I’m sure Margo! Thanks again.

Philips mountain farm house was very comfortable. This is a older farm house so it is not brand new, but everything was very clean. white towels white sheets beds were comfortable and the WiFi worked perfect. the hot tub outside was a wonderful treat. Philip let us check in a little early as we checked out of another cabin because of some hot water issues. But everythibg about this house was absolutely worth the price. And the customer service was above and beyond.

We had ample space to gather together and to spread out as well, enjoyed the ping pong table in the basement, and had everything we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay! Especially appreciative of the well stocked kitchen with everything we needed to make meals and to bake. Everything was so clean and just as it was depicted and described. Seth is a great host, too. We will definitely keep this in mind for future stays in Lexington. It is a quiet area so we enjoyed walks around the neighborhood- which was lovely. And we were not too far from restaurants, downtown, as well as a grocery store very nearby!

The house was absolutely perfect! I really liked the circle drive because we were pulling a trailer with side by sides. We had no issues with parking or getting in or out of the driveway! The weather was cold so we didn't get to enjoy the outside amenities but the area down at the bottom of the hill was set up great. There were two deer standing there when we pulled in. Will absolutely use this place again!

I had a wonderful experience staying at Jim’s place! The communication was excellent throughout our stay. Our drive was a little over 3 hours and Jim let us know that there was a bit of snow that was coming so he let us check in early so we didn’t get stuck in anything. He was very quick to respond and provided clear, helpful information that made everything go very smooth and worry free. I recommend staying here if you want a host who is very easy to reach, in a good location, and just overall an awesome cabin. The pictures didn’t do this place justice, I thought it was even better in person! I would love to come back, thank you Jim!

This place does have a kind of 80s LA vibe that we really liked! Lots of glass and natural light, plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds, roomy kitchen, well-stocked “coffee station” just off the kitchen with both a Keurig and a drip coffee maker (which we took advantage of), and a great master bedroom with dressing area. Conveniently located, but also felt private and quiet. It’s winter now, but we’d love to come back in warmer weather and spend more time on the patio with the fire pit!

Our stay here was wonderful. The space is cozy and has everything you could need for a couple day stay. It is located in a prime spot to hit up local spots or if you have to travel elsewhere, located close to highways that take you where you need to go. We would stay here again for future visits.

I had a little hiccup when I got there (kept putting in the wrong code) and had to reach out to the host. He was quick to respond and helped me figure out my issue. The place was beautiful! Everything was described exactly and. My family really enjoyed the stay

I thought the space was unique and we were comfortable once we got settled in. I liked the quiet neighborhood and we were pretty close to a variety of restaurants.

We stayed here for two nights. We visited our daughter who lives nearby and is a student at UofK. This place was very clean, beautifully decorated. Only downfall for us was that the sofa is not that big and only has one TV in the living room. My husband and I like to give these teens their space and watch movies, etc., it would’ve been nice to just relax in the master bedroom and watch our own movie. However, Selin did advise me of this so we were fine with that. I would definitely recommend this place.

Sable, my beloved black lab, and I were absolutely captivated by the amenities, the breathtaking surroundings, and the warmth of Rachel’s humble abode. Every moment we spent there was a true delight! Thank you Rachel and Airbnb!

The stay here was great! I definitely recommend If it’s summer time, it got very cold but heat somewhat works. I love how it’s a private area, with lots of security. Great amount of space for 2 people. Hot water works amazing. Overall great one week stay!

The home was very clean, warm and inviting. A well-stocked kitchen allowed us plenty of flexibility for cooking meals, assembling charcuterie, making coffee, etc. The bedrooms were comfortable and offered plenty of options for charging electronics. The dining room was a great spot for eating and playing board games. We ended up spending more time resting, watching movies and enjoying the home than originally planned because we felt so comfortably at home. We wished it had been warm enough outside to enjoy the back deck. I highly recommend this home, and hope for an opportunity to return should we have another visit to Lexington.

My daughter and I enjoyed staying at Frank's home. We felt very comfortable and welcomed. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean. The property is conveniently 17-20 minutes from the Lexington Horse Park. Frank was a five-star host, and we enjoyed getting to know him. We loved being able to interact with the horses, Wilbur and William Bennett. Even Sheldon the cat was adorable and friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here when visiting the Lexington area.

We had a great 2 night stay in a cozy cabin nestled in woods. The cabin was a perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking in the gorge.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin. One thing to note is that in the gas fireplace seems to be the only source of heat in the winter. We quickly got over the smell and it we were warm, just surprised by that. Otherwise, very clean and peaceful. Had a great time and would love to stay again.

We had an amazing time. Everything was exactly how it was described. Our personal favorite was the heated floor. Katie was also an awesome host. We look forward to coming back soon!

We enjoyed our stay. The place was as described. Cozy A-frame. Very convenient to local restaurants and Red River Gorge activities. Host was very responsive.

This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for not only my husband and I but also our dog!

As this was our third visit to Tom's cabin we knew what to expect. As usual it was clean, warm and inviting. The kitchen had everything necessary for cooking a meal and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. It was great to have a washer and dryer to use with detergent provided. The mountains are beautiful with the changing light and weather at different times of the day and it is very peaceful, especially at night. The night sky on a clear night is brilliant as there is practically no light pollution. Tom was a very thoughtful host and made a great effort to help in any way needed. Thank you Tom. We plan on coming again next year.

This was by far the cleanest and easiest place I’ve stayed in at in the Gorge. Everything you need for dogs to coffee was provided. Very peaceful setting close to most of everything you would be driving to. We will be back, thank you!

In the days of so many new construction, “modern farmhouse” cabins, covered in shiplap and cute sayings all over the walls, I wanted a cabin cabin to surprise my friends as a Christmas present and it was perfect. You can tell the owner spends time there as the kitchen is fully stocked so you can actually cook there, not the basic ikea starter pack like I seem to find in most Airbnb kitchens. Awesome covered porch where there’s only one cabin in line of sight, it felt remote and peaceful. It felt lived in, and that is a compliment, it was comfortable, with everything we needed for a 2 day getaway. The few grocery items we forgot were about a 15 minute trip to the store. Internet was great for the little work I needed to do when I was there. Beds were comfortable, plenty of linens, my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. Just a great getaway spot I’d recommend to anyone looking for the same experience.
