What a lovely and cozy place to stay and to soak in the hot tub after a day of hiking in the park was perfect! The beds were comfortable with extra blankets and towels! Everything you need to cook meals! Can’t recommend enough to stay here!

What a beautiful location. We had six adults and a baby and everyone had a room! The home was very well equipped, we wanted for nothing. Rick was incredibly responsive to a couple of requests we had. There had been a lot of rain so we didn't get to fish as we were hoping, but still enjoyed the home, hot tub, a visit to Crescent Lake and three nights of family games.

Stellar location: we enjoyed our time on the lake and would have loved to stay longer. Stuart greeted us and took us for a spin on the lake when we arrived. Location is beautiful, private, and close to fun hikes. We went out on the water several times in the kayaks. Traffic on the lake was low (September), and often there was zero or one people out on the water at any given time. The cabin's potable water wasn't working during our stay, but Stuart provided plenty of bottled water for our drinking and cooking needs. We would happily stay again.

Quaint location and well decked house. We had originally booked another property but it had a malfunctioning hot tub. The hosts proactively offered to change to another property and it was a perfect stay.

This place is a GEM! Steve was an ideal host, the house was organized, accessible, and STOCKED with everything you could ever need. Our educational organization stayed for a strategic planning retreat, and it was the perfect space to collaborate, access nature, and rejuvenate. We look forward to coming back next year! -Kaity A.

We had a great Christmas at Ron’s place. They had it clean, decorated, and ready for our arrival with more amenities than we even needed. The house was so comfortable. Our family of 6 slept well. We loved the ducks off the lake and spending our afternoon/evenings in the well maintained hot tub. We did a few days trips to close by hiking attractions and town was close enough to run and grab extra groceries. Overall such a great experience!! We plan to come back in the summer and would recommend this house to anyone.

A wonderful and cozy house in one of the most beautiful areas of the world. Close to lakes, mountains, lots of hiking and within sight of Canada! House was well equipped and is a perfect getaway in any season!

The stay is peaceful and the location convenient to the whole of the north side of Olympic National Park (Hurricane Ridge, Crescent Lake, and Sol Duc River and Falls). I was even able to stop for a hike at Staircase on the way up the east side. Diane was always responsive and offered her help freely.

Quiet, comfortable, and accessible.. my only wish, is that I could have stayed longer! Definitely coming back here, you won’t be disappointed. Exactly as advertised!

The home was very clean and elegant inside. Really had a pleasant stay with Chaitanya’s home. This is my 4th time here and would recommend 10/10.

It is a cozy, relaxing, and comfortable place. She is very quick to answer questions, and has left in the unit a very detailed binder with information about the unit, as well as area, food and activities. It was an enjoyable stay. Thank you very much!

We enjoyed our cozy stay at David's place during a story weekend in November. David went the extra mile to check on us to make sure that it was warm enough in the cabin, and even brought as an extra space heater. We loved the peanut butter in the fridge and the tea tree tingle shampoo in the shower :) It's the little things that count. Also an excellent library! We felt cared for and right at home. A cozy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and charming cottage. It's a quiet and private setting with amazing views of the Olympics and in the winter the sunrise and sunset skies. Gracious and friendly host. Practically, there's a helpfully stocked kitchen, terrific WIFI, and excellent TV options. Location is in the country but five minute drive to downtown Sequim and just a hop and skip to walking/biking the Olympic Trail. Our third stay and looking forward to the fourth!

The location and space met our needs for this trip very well. The kitchen had a marvelous selection of appliances, pots, pans, serving dishes, and utensils that made preparing special Christmas meals easy to do even away from home. Having a washer and dryer was so convenient since hiking in the rain can mean wet, muddy clothes.

What an amazing weekend with five friends! Lazy Bear retreat is cozy and quiet--close enough to Sequim and Port Angeles for adventuring, but peaceful enough that we spent most of our time playing games and watching movies at the house. We watched the weather, the cargo ships, and the deer through the living room window, and we did some cooking in the kitchen. The 70's charm took me back to my childhood but the house had all the modern amenities. We're already planning when we'll come back.

Great little place out in the woods near Olympic National Park. Near enough to most of the park’s major trails that they’re all day trips. The house is tucked away from the road but Google Maps gets you to the private road just fine and there are numbers clearly marked to show you the correct driveway. The house itself is clean, quiet, and has a great vintage feel. Fantastic communication with the owners and the check-out tasks are reasonable.

Great cabin! Had everything that was listed and a few extras! Like a blender and propane grill! Such a beautiful well stocked place! The one potential downside is that there is a house directly and I mean directly next to the cabin that is not pictured or referenced in the listing. This was fine for us in the off season, we were able to get the privacy we wanted since it was vacant..but I find the listing to be slighty misleading if you're after true privacy..especially in the busy summer season. Maybe it was mentioned in the listing and I just missed it? This seems like the perfect place for a big or mulitple families! We had a great time and stayed warm in front of the wood stove. Walked the trails behind the cabin and had a lovely time! Would definitely recommend to anyone and hope to come back some day!

Eagle Heights was a great rental. Quiet and peaceful. The house is actually across the street frim the lake and not accessible or visible from the cabin. There are neighbors across the street but we never heard a peep. Outdoor lighting took away ability to see the promised stars. 3-4 steps to enter. Screen door allowed us to experience nature without the mosquitos. Shower tub. Good water pressure. Hot water. Great towels. Starter supplies in kitchen. Older decor but spotlessly clean and homey vibe. One bed firm. One softer. Laundry is accessed by going outside. Be careful if washing at night as there is a step up. My husband tripped/fell so put on the light. Coffee on the porch was lovely and to my surprise we had 2 little birds join us and one was bold enough to eat straight from my hand. We did see deer one morning as well. Regular coffee pot. If you are looking for some peace and quiet this place is great. Would recommend. Carl was SUPER responsive. GREAT HOST!!

Loved our stay here. Very cozy inside to relax and have alone time. Dylan was super responsive and helpful with any questions I had. Staying here again on my next trip to Forks, if it’s available :)
