We came for an Irish wedding. Had a great time. The place was more than what we expected. The magnificent Croagh Patrick in the backyard and the bay in the front. Beds were comfortable, kitchen stocked and all the bathroom you need. This host will bend over backwards for you! If you like a good fire, the fireplace has glass locking doors. Quick response! You will love this Airbnb!

Brilliant location within walking distance of all the main attractions , restaurants and bars. The house was well equipped with everything needed, and more. It was spotlessly clean and had big and comfortable bedrooms. Lots of natural light and great views of the harbour. Pamela was so helpful in the lead up to our visit and quickly responded to any questions we had. The place was perfect for our group and would definitely recommend.

What an absolutely amazing house, loads of space and very family / children friendly. The views are breathtaking, plus the added enjoyment of sheep, goats, alpacas, donkies and chickens to keep young children entertained. The hosts were excellent and very accommodating, my only criticism (all be it very minor) the pots/pans/utensils require to be replaced, and there isn't a teapot.. but everything else was impeccable! Would definitely stay again, and looking at dates for 2025 already!!

Beautiful view over Lough Corrib. Added bonus of being able to take a rowing boat out on the lake. Garden is well maintained and mature. Hugh is very responsive and helpful with lots of tips on what to see and do. A very enjoyable week for us as a family.

We had a brilliant stay at Áine’s property! It is conveniently located less than a five minute drive from Westport town and very easy to find. We had a smooth check in facilitated by Margaret the caretaker who was very helpful and knowledgeable about the property. The house itself is gorgeous and perfect for a group due to the extra beds in the rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and perfect for self catering. Overall, Áine was a great host and we had a fabulous stay at her property.

We had a great new years stay in Lizzie’s. The place was very clean and cosy and we made great use of the lovely open fire place. The setting is absolutely stunning with beautiful sea views out the back and gorgeous views from the bedrooms upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked for a big group and plenty of seating areas and chairs for all. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a lovely countryside stay away from the madness!

The Boley House is perfect for families who are visiting Achill Island. The house is spacious and located within walking distances to shops, restaurants, and pubs. Noreen is the perfect host who supplied fresh eggs, rashers, sausages and puddings for my family to make a traditional Irish breakfast. This also included homemade brown bread. On several occasions Noreen dropped off freshly made cookies and breads. Just a perfect host!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at James house - it was clean, comfortable and very cosy! The beds were very comfortable and kitchen perfect for cooking and living in. There was a fire on in the stove when we arrived and made the house so welcoming and cosy. It is in beautiful surroundings with lots of walks and Westport only 15 mins away and plenty of restaurants etc in Murrisk only 5 mins away - great base for exploring Mayo and climbing croagh Patrick and as a family of 5 and 2 dogs it was just perfect! We also went in the free Killary harbour cruise that was offered and it was fantastic - highly recommend! James was very friendly and on hand if needed - we would definitely visit again!

Cormac is an Excellent Host, Cormac goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. The house has an incredible view. The private parking is a huge perk as Kinvara is a busy place. Cormac’s house is central to everything and Kinvara is a phenomenal town to visit for vacation. It is central to many things; Galway, the Burren, other coastal towns and beaches. We hope to come back and stay with Cormac again. Felt right at home.

The accommodation was clean, tidy, presentable and very comfortable, it came with all the necessities. Catherine was a lovely host and she welcomed us with her home made scones which were delicious. Catherine is very friendly and helpful. We loved her hospitality. The house is private and comes with a beautiful surroundings with beautiful animals all around. We will definitely revisit. My friend and I absolutely loved our stay at Helen’s mountain cottage! The setting is breathtaking and so close to nature. Birdsong, pheasant squawks, sheep bleating and an ever-changing sky. The views are amazing. The cottage is charming and welcoming, a perfect place to enjoy peaceful privacy and beautiful walks. Helen was very friendly, helpful and responsive. We didn’t meet Jurgen, but he graciously left us beautiful firewood for the stove. He built the gorgeous sauna, which fits perfectly with the rustic experience. We had some great weather, so we loved having a fire outside as we gazed at the lake, sky and landscape. The cottage is not luxurious, but we loved it and the peaceful surroundings. Heidi the happy dog was a sweet addition to our stay. You will be so glad you booked this magical place! Thank you, Helen and Jurgen!

Absolutely gorgeous house and grounds, like something from a postcard. Everything you could need was in the house. House is bright and spotlessly clean. Great location. Handy adventure centre in the hotel a five minute walk from the house. Margaret is a fantastic host who made sure we had a great trip. Thank you Margaret. The Mancunian girls will come again!

Kenneth and Sinead were the best hosts. They checked in on us, were lovely to chat with, happy to help us with anything we needed help with and they have such a great spot in the view of the croagh Patrick and the golf course. We were also able to purchase the eggs from the chickens for breakfast. They provided us with many ideas of places to see from castles to a yoga studio.

The apartment was exactly as pictured and described in the listing. We were a little concerned about the detailed instructions to get in but once we arrived and followed the instructions it was well explained and easy. It was a bit cold when we arrived as the heating wasn't on correctly but Carola had warned us and explained that we would need to turn the radiators up, which we did but a couple of them did not seem to work. Luckily, the weather had gone from Arctic conditions to above freezing so not such a problem! The TV had been unplugged from the Eir box but we plugged it back in and all was fine. Also, the wifi dropped out one night and hadn't come back on in the morning so had to contact Carola again to get that reset. We cooked meals and found the kitchen well equipped for our culinary needs. The area is lovely and serene and the local village is nice. Aside from the few minor inconveniences, overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

I couldn’t recommend and praise Seascape enough! We can’t thank Paula and Stephen enough for letting us into their absolutely stunning home! We went there for peace, tranquility and stunning views and it did not disappoint!! The nicest couple, so helpful in every way. Your home is idyllic and we thoroughly enjoyed staying there. Beds were so comfortable, kitchen was so well equipped! Sitting room was just simply stunning and so sooo cosy. So tastefully decorated . Beautiful gardens all around. Had the best time! Please God we will make it back next year again. Thankyou for absolutely everything.

We had a wonderful long weekend in Garretts cottage. It was a gorgeous location, a short drive to Westport with incredible views over Clew Bay. Lots to see and do in the area. The cottage was fabulous and completely kitted out for us, including a lovely welcome package. We could have stayed lots longer and hope to come back again with our 2 children. Our family of four and one Cavapoo stayed at Lisa’s place for 2 nights. We had a great stay in a relaxing setting. Lisa was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house was lovely and clean, and really did feel like a home from home from the off. The location was nice and private and a short distance from Ballina town and the beaches at Killala or Enniscrone. I would highly recommend this house if you are looking to stay close to Ballina.
