Kid-friendly vacation rentals in City of Onkaparinga

Our stay here was wonderful! Looked exactly like the photos and was super clean. Perfect for a short or long stay with all the amenities. Location is amazing if you're after good wineries and restaurants. The house is within 1km of Grounded Cru, The Currant Shed, and Vale Taphouse. Ellen provided clear instructions and we had no issues. Would definitely stay again.

Haven in Herrick is a great family getaway destination. The house is modern and clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. It is clear that thought has gone into what a family or large group might need while staying there. The air con is great for those warm days but the fresh evening air proves for a restful sleep. The garden is so large for children or pets to enjoy, as is the entertainment spaces with table tennis, darts and arcade games. Our family of 8, consisting of all adult kids came with us and they loved it. The beach is at the doorstep with a three minute walk and it is so clean and nice to swim at. No seaweed! Or very little while we stayed. The hosts even provide permits so you can drive on the beach. Haven on Herrick is a home we would like to return to. Thank you Renee for sharing your holiday home. 😀

Sellicks Beach and surrounds is a brilliant location and with one of Australia’s best and most beautiful 24/7 off leash dog beach areas, it was fantastic to find a house like this where we could also bring our dogs. Felt very at home as soon as we walked in and fantastic to find a host that provided ample breakfast provisions and even had the fridge stocked with milk and fruit. Huge secure back yard and deck - it was even hot enough to have a dip in the pool! Perfect place to see a year out and in! Highly re pm end Silver Sands Beach Club and Pearl restaurants too.

the house was beautiful, well appointed and spotless. really great location, minutes from the beach. plenty of room inside plus a very private outdoor area that was landscaped nicely.

We had a great family time at Chrisi's place. There wasn't a lot of backyard and the bbq looked like it was on its last legs. The place was comfortable to stay in. The air conditioning worked well Overall the place was neat and tidy. It was close to ammenities. It wasn't too far to drive to see tourist sights .

The only reason I don't want to give Way Wood a glowing review is to stop people from booking it on the dates when we want to book it again! We cannot wait to go back. The view is simply spectacular and the photos do not do it justice. It is perfectly appointed and the kitchen is wonderful to cook in as was the excellent BBQ, we are tempted to upgrade ours after using it! Each morning and night a kangaroo and her joey visited us which was a nice surprise and the outdoor area was perfect for our 2 families to relax, play games and enjoy the view. If you have small children be aware that there is a high chair and mattress which our friends used and made life easier for packing the car without these. We have beautiful memories from our stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Ann Marie’s place. The apartment is huge, bright and light and only a short walk to the beach. As we were from interstate we didn’t have any beach gear with us. We reached out to Ann Marine and she kindly let us use her shelter, chairs and esky! The beautiful bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival was also a lovely touch. We cooked one evening so it was great to have a well stocked kitchen and dishwasher. The place was also close to the McLaren Vale wine region to explore the area’s many cellar doors. We definitely recommend Ann Marie’s place and are looking forward to staying again!

A lovely apartment overlooking the Moana Beach. The scenery was idyllic and the place is bigger than it looks! Also holds more people if needed. Thanks Ben and Jane for making my pre-wedding stay memorable.

Beautiful getaway with my family, Allan (co-host) was fantastic and very welcoming. Apartment has amazing views, great location and enjoyed a delicious dinner at Pearl across the road. Great amenities, very clean and can highly recommend. Thank you Allan for your hospitality, we look forward to returning!

Lovely apartment right on the Esplanade. Loved the balcony, facilities and easy access to beach etc. Apartment very clean, everything you needed, good kitchen facilities and great spot for a beach holiday. Beds comfy. Aircon throughout for hot days & nights. Tracy was easy to deal with and provided lots of info for stay. The secure carpark is tight to negotiate, but this is just the layout of the apartment complex. Overall a wonderful place to stay. Missing the wines/coffee on the balcony.......

We can't thank Suzanne enough for letting us stay in her wonderful place and being a great host. Always responsive, nothing was an issue during our time in the apartment. Was really nice to walk down to the beach every day we were there and also super close to some really great food places too - strong recommend for Taco Libre!

Sally’s place was a comfortable, quiet unit in a great location. Across the road from the beach, with a cafe next door and pub next door to that. The unit was clean, well appointed and the kitchen had all utensils needed for cooking. The breakfast provisions were handy as was the car park at the front of the unit. Sally even provided beach towels, ( and other beach items) which was handy. Highly recommend this unit and will stay again. Thanks Sally.

Debra was a wonderful host and replied to messages super fast. Check in and out was smooth. Very short walk to a stunning long beach with a cute little cafe. Was small and neat all we needed for our short stay There was a train stop only a stone throw away so that would be handy for some people and it wasn’t too loud

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We would definitely recommend it to others.

Deb’s place was pristine, spacious and walkable to many places (botanic gardens, bus/tram stops, grocery stores, outdoor mall and restaurants). It was great to check in to fresh bread, some food and wine. Laundry is on the rooftop and each costs $4, but machines are large. Communication with Deb was seamless. Great stay overall.

What a great property, the moment we arrived and this modern apartment with historic facade we knew we were in for a treat. Well laid out, spotless modern apartment that had everything you could need. In street parking, small suburban shops, great cafe a few doors down and a short uber to city or beach. Host was so helpful answering questions, even when I asked a few obvious ones. What a delightful experience it this unique 3 room apartment - thanks for hosting me!

Leteesha couldn’t have been more accomodating and responsive. The location is amazing and so quiet for being in the cbd. Overlooking the square meant the view was great. There is an amazing new bar on the edge of the square and other restaurants. Great supermarket a minute’s walk away. Close to transport and easy walking distance to all the North Terrace institutions (gallery, museum, botanical gardens etc). Highly recommend and if I find myself in Adelaide I would be really happy to stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in Adelaide and at M&Ms place. Great location and easy to get everywhere on the city quickly. Glad it wasn’t 40 degrees as the bedroom ceiling fans might have struggled. Aircon in the lounge is great tho! If we are staying in the city again we will look up availability again.

Giovanna’s communication from first booking until check out was excellent! The place is tucked up but also walking distance to restaurants and a lovely open green space! The place feels like your own and is extremely welcoming. Looking forward to staying here again next time I travel to Adelaide

We just loved the view from the wrap-around balcony - which also afforded us a view of the sunsets, as well as star-gazing later. Also great for seeing the New Years Eve fireworks! The place felt roomy and comfortable - and the double was *really* comfortable. Great stay, thanks.
