If your looking for a peaceful getaway right on the beach, this is your spot! Troy was quick with responding to any questions I had, and was always friendly. All amenities that were listed on the booking page were accurate. The house was spotless when we arrived for check-in. I can’t wait to book our next trip here again!

Our only regret is that we didn’t have longer to enjoy the beautiful and homey apartment and absolutely breathtaking surroundings! John does such a wonderful job making sure the apartment is clean, inviting, and well stocked with everything you might need. We got a great night’s sleep in the very comfortable beds. On top of all of that, he is warm and friendly and it’s very apparent he loves being a host. Thank you, John!! We hope to have the opportunity to stay again, only for more than a quick visit next time!

We had a wonderful stay at Scott’s beautiful lakeside home at the Finger Lakes! We stayed for three days to celebrate my wife's birthday, and this serene spot made it truly special. The house is peaceful and perfectly situated by the lake, providing a perfect escape. Scott was incredibly responsive and proactive—he made sure we had all the instructions we needed in advance, and the home was equipped with all the necessary amenities to make our stay comfortable. It was clear he put thought into ensuring a smooth experience for his guests. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay!

We had a great stay on the lake. The property is perfect for a family, group or couple. The water access is amazing. The outdoor grill and flat top stove allowed us to have dinners outside with phenomenal views. The communication with the owners was awesome. We brought our kids and had a great time.

Brian and Melissa’s place is lovely. Very clean. Furniture and beds extremely comfortable and great location across from the Lake and about 5-7 miles from the cute town of Skaneatles. We were there on a rainy night but did take the short walk across the street to the dock which was beautiful. It’s a nice place even on a cold rainy night with the electric fireplace and comfortable couches! I’m sure it would be a great summer spot too!

While the access road is not for the faint of heart and more closets/clothing storage is needed, the cabin was very clean, well-stocked and organized. There were plenty of movies to choose from and a big firepit to enjoy. The property manager, Mike, was very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. All in all, the cabin is a lovely place to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying the incredible view.

We had such a great girls weekend at Tanya’s place in Sylvan Beach! The house was just as described—clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. The location was ideal, with plenty of great dining options nearby and everything was just a quick drive or walk down the beach away. Check-in was super easy and stress-free. Tanya was a great host, and we’d definitely stay here again! Highly recommend!

We highly enjoying our stay at Samantha’s cottage. It was a beautiful weekend getaway and the fall foliage made it even better!! The kitchen was extremely clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. We weren’t there long enough to use the washer and dryer but I was grateful to have it if needed. The house has lots of natural sunlight, and the covered porch was great when it rained or when we didn’t want to make the walk down to the lake.

Went up with a friend to go fishing for the weekend. Cabin was awesome and super clean. Had everything you would need as far as pots and pans, and things like that. We had a little issue at first with the key but we called the host and he helped us figure it out in like two minutes. The host told us that the fire wood stacked there was free so that was pretty great too, and there was little bags of chips and stuff already in there. Bathroom was good. Shower was good but the hot water doesn’t last too long. The listing kinda confused me and I thought that it was one bedroom, and then the upstairs part. But it was two bedrooms and the upstairs part. So it was four beds not 3. Great place tho 10/10 would recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at your home. Plenty of space for everyone and the back deck and yard were really great! Lots of comfortable and thoughtful seating areas and fun things for the kids to do. Great little touches made the stay extra comfortable like the herb garden and the awesome cooking fire pit. We loved the old charm of the interior and the kids got good use out of the piano. Ha!! It truly was a comfortable and relaxing vacation. The water was great and the kayaking were a fun activity. Thank you Tom and Annie!!

We had a truly unforgettable family Easter weekend at this beautiful Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The house was spotless, spacious, and filled with thoughtful touches that made our stay extra special. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook our holiday meals together. The bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of space and privacy. The kids loved the backyard and outdoor area, while the adults appreciated the peaceful views and relaxing atmosphere, next to the fire pit and the lake. We also loved how pet friendly the home was, our furry family member had a blast too! Location wise, it was ideal close enough to stores and activities, but tucked away enough to enjoy quiet time together. This little apartment was the perfect place for my mom and I to relax and have a lovely time in Sylvan Beach! Roomier than I expected from the pictures which was a great surprise (for some reason I imagined you had to walk through the one bedroom to get to the other- that’s not true at all! There is a separate hallway that connects the two and the one to the living room space). The location on the beach is just perfect, and a wonderful yard with multiple spaces/ uses. Chris was so responsive and helpful with anything we needed. A great host at a great place- we will definitely be looking to book again in the future!!! Only tiny downside is no full kitchen- but Chris provides a grill, toaster, microwave, and griddle. Besides, it’s vacation and there are great restaurants in town- who wants to cook on vacation anyways???

Love the cabins at Screwy Louie’s! My husband and I stayed here for some time years ago and decided to revisit for our anniversary recently. The cabins were better than we remembered, everything was clean and tidy. I am from the area so I’m aware of everything Fair Haven has to offer, but the location of the cabins makes things super walkable. We will be back!

We absolutely adored Andy’s home! From the decorations, the comfortable bedding, clean and spacious showers, we loved every minute of our stay. The bedrooms were all adorable with brand new bedding and everything felt very clean. We traveled with our newborn and toddler and we had plenty of space and blankets. Special shout out to the downstairs- kitchen and living area. The kitchen is well equipped, and they had every kind of glass you could imagine which is always a nice touch when you’re traveling. The living room fit my husband and I my mother are toddler and our baby just fine for movie nights and everything just felt right at home.

We were lucky enough to find Victor's place for a last minute snowmobile weekend to New York for the first time! The area did not disappoint. Victor was very proactive, and graciously allowed us to park ahead of an early check in, which we very much appreciated. The space was clean, had comfy beds, and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed. We loved the area and the rental and would definitely recommend it. Thank you Victor for your great hospitality and helping to make it a memorable trip!

Excellent Owasco Lake Vacation House

Owasco Lake is beautiful - crystal clear - and staying in Adam’s place almost felt like staying on a house boat since it’s RIGHT on/over the water. We loved hearing the waves lapping up against the shore and seeing the sun rise over the lake in the morning. The use of the 3 kayaks was great, and we also brought some inflatable SUPs for our kids - they had a blast on the lake. The house is also close to a Wegmans, a beautiful waterfall (Carpenter Falls), and a great brewery (Aurora Brewing Co). We all had a great time! The neighbors were SUPER friendly and Adam was very responsive to questions. The outdoor fire ‘pit’ on the patio was lovely, and there were plenty of life jackets and towels for the lake. My only complaint is that the house was a bit run down, and the middle bedroom was a bit warm because there was no AC in there. Overall though, a wonderful trip!

Vernon & Merrie were wonderful hosts and were always very responsive before and during our stay. The house is a perfect fit for 2 families. It is very spacious and we felt like we had 2 homes in 1 with 2 full kitchens. This was a huge plus as our stay was over Thanksgiving and the extra space with 2 refrigerators, multiple ovens, etc… all came in handy. The house is very well stocked and it’s clear the hosts put a great deal of care and thought into creating a great vacation for their guests. Highly recommend!
