Family-friendly vacation rentals in Chisago County

We booked three nights to accommodate extended family coming from Chicago and Duluth to celebrate my son’s graduation from UMN. This place was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for everybody. The kitchen, open living room area, and deck worked really well for entertaining. We threw a BBQ get together for my son’s friends, a huge success in this great space. The place is very well stocked with everything we needed. We also heated up the sauna each morning to start the day! Emily was very responsive to our every need. Thank you!

Amy Jo was a wonderful host and we felt right at home! The home was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy, and my little one had a blast playing with the toys and watching the ducks on the pond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Richard’s place! The home is cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to cook, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The location couldn’t be better—everything we wanted to do was just a short distance away. Richard was also incredibly responsive and helpful, answering any questions we had right away. Honestly, I can’t imagine anyone having a negative experience here. Highly recommend!

I love this spot! Great interior and cannot beat the location, right in downtown Stillwater.

Had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The fenced in back yard was great. The driveway was cleared of snow after a storm, and it was overall nice.

Josh was very accommodating and his fenced in yard worked well for our dog.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for a couple nights, it was so peaceful and beautiful we didn’t want to leave! Even with all the snow, the cabin was easy to access, our maps did take us a bit farther down the road than where we needed to be but if you watch the address signs it’s easy to locate!

My family of seven - my parents, my husband and I, and our three sons 22, 17 and 16 - stayed here for five days. There was plenty of space for all of us. The house is absolutely gorgeous. The beds are so comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. There was plenty of hot water for all of us. I want to come back to Minneapolis just to stay here!

We had a nice stay at the apartment. It fit our needs perfectly. It was clean, had comfortable beds, and was nice for a short stay in the area.

Stay here if you want the experience of living in an old home in Minneapolis. After the first night, we felt right at home wishing owned a place similar to this. If you plan on hanging out in the northeast neighborhoods, this is a great spot to stay. Even if you plan to visit other parts of the city, it is easy to get around from this neighborhood.

This is the second time we have stayed with John and Melanie. It was great three night stay. We may just do it again in 2025.

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

very nice and clean. extremely quiet. and very central to Minneapolis. easy to get o freeways and easy to navigate the entire city. would definitely use him again in the future.

Love the corner store. It's a charming hideaway in a great neighborhood!
