Cottage vacation rentals in Chirk

Beautiful home in a very scenic location. The little village 5 mins drive away had everything we needed and the surrounding castles are stunning. My favourite part of the whole stay was being able to sit with a coffee and watch all the birds (we even spotted a kingfisher and a woodpecker!) feeding up close from the patio area with a view of the gorgeous valley surrounding us. Niamh was a perfect host, making sure we had everything we needed and gave us a few handy tips for places to check out which made our stay all the more memorable. Thanks so much for hosting us, unfortunately we forgot our swimsuits so didn't get a chance to use the hot tub (which looked delightfully toasty!) but it's a great excuse to come back soon!

Perfect weekend stay at this lovely cottage in North Wales. Well equipped, spacious and great value for money. Lola was responsive to all our queries and all instructions were clear. Unfortunately we stayed during a storm so didn’t get to venture outside but the hot tub made up for that! Would definitely recommend and stay again!

We booked Steven's place for our mini-moon and it was a beautiful home! The surroundings are gorgeous & so peaceful, the home itself was spotless and everything was to a high standard. The log burner being lit on arrival, the Christmas tree and the gift for us were such lovely touches and really made our visit special. Our 1 year old sausage dog absolutely loved their spaniel Maggie, she is the sweetest girl! We're already talking about coming back with friends. Thank you Steven!

Great stay just outside of Chester, 15 minutes in the car. Would recommend staying. Jacuzzi is great just takes a long time to get up to temperature. Take wood with you before arriving. Would stay here again next time in the area. Host was great.

Beautiful two night stay at coach house. Definitely will book again. Such a tranquil place and accomodation is well curated with everything you need. Perfect for us and two children. Lovely views from the garden and hot tub. Watch the moon in the evening whilst you soak in hot tub, what more could you want!

Jane is a lovely lady with a beautiful place. the outside is as lovely as inside, both front and back. Hot tub was lovely and warm, the area around it was dry and clean, and had lovely lights all around the outside which were very nice in the dark. She left easy to follow instructions getting to the place, and even left an umbrella for when we got out the car as it was raining. She replied quickly to messages and checked on us to make sure everything was OK. probably the best place I've stayed, all the little things as well as the big ones made it a lovely weekend.

Jan and Richs place is beautiful, the pictures don’t do it justice and was all decked out for the Christmas period. We unfortunately arrived the day before Storm Darragh that we were very unprepared for. Rich and Jan were great and made us some homemade scones as we were unable to head out on a walk we had planned. We made good use of the hot tub while we could before being hit with a power cut (the whole village!). Jan and Rich helped us get a nice fire going, emergency lights and candles to get us through until it came back on and came out late in the evening to top us up on kindling. They were great and very apologetic despite it being completely unpreventable. We had a great time and made a good memory with our 6 year old. They were kind enough to offer the hot tub of no change and a gift at the end of our stay which we really appreciated. We will definitely be back soon! Thank you both! Bali and Lawrence x

Beautiful property in a gorgeous setting. Massive kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Hot Tub with roof was perfect for a soak whilst the snow was falling!

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Emma’s beautiful property! The location couldn’t be more stunning and the house was just perfect for our needs I can honestly say I’ve never slept in a more comfortable bed and we had everything we needed to make our stay relaxed and peaceful. The local village is very quiet and lovely to walk around. There are also plenty of spots to visit within a short driving distances, including some stunning waterfalls! We felt truly blessed by the elements during our visit, as well as many polite interactions with the locals. Emma was a gracious host, very friendly, available and easy to talk to! I would recommend to anyone who loves the country life and needs a nice break and slice of rural comfort I hope we will be back again Thanks Emma <3

Lovely canal side cottage in very convenient location. Super clean, tastefully furnished, with everything we needed and even the pleasant surprise of breakfast basics. Handy for town and local pubs. Would definitely return.

lovely cottage (dog friendly with secure garden) with all the amenities I needed for a short break, good shower, comfy bed, tea and coffee things, ice machine, fridge, freezer. Correspondence with the owners is always positive.

The lock house was amazing, if we could move in we would. You can tell the work and love that has gone into the place and it shows in the character. The location and scenery was picturesque, me and our dog really enjoyed waking up early, watching the sunrise and cows wake up and wonder outside. The house felt like a home, and I was very sad to have to leave. The location was brilliant 10 min walk away from the local pub and a few minuets drive to the local town. We went for a walking holiday which the location gave us plenty of. If you’re thinking of booking this place, do it, you won’t regret it.

This cottage was absolutely perfect, love Severn valley country park and it’s within walking distance which was perfect! Set in really charming grounds with perfect views over the Severn valley. 100% would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the area! I would move in if I could ;) Will be staying here again.

Absolutely loved staying here. Such a pretty cottage that has been beautifully decorated both inside and out. Fantastic eclectic furnishings and immaculately clean. Loved the master bedroom and garden. Super comfy king-sized bed with quality bedding and huge soft towels. Lovely welcome by Rachel, who was both friendly and helpful as were her family members. Ive cottage was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was ideal, close to attractions but still peaceful. Highly recommend!

Most enjoyable first visit to Bridgenorth to visit relatives. This was the perfect location to explore everywhere on foot. The apartment was spotlessly clean and felt very homely. Would not hesitate to recommend to others!

We’ve had a lovely couple of days catching up with friends. The Royal Oak and Morris Dancers are fantastic pubs with great food. Plenty of walks and doggie friendly. Julie’s place was lovely and homely, clean and Julie was responsive and kind. Looking forward to our next trip!

First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

Me & my partner stayed here for 2 nights and it was by far THE BEST getaway. The cottage its self is absolutely beautiful. Small and cosy, it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. Michelle (the host) is absolutely lovely and nothing was ever too much for her. She was extremely attentive and helped us with any queries that we had. We will definitely be returning here in the future and we will be staying for longer. Thank you so much again Michelle for having us :)

Quiet farm location and makes an ideal base for exploring the area in cosy self catering accomodation. I myself would use again if returning to the area with friends.

The cottage is a great escape in Wales, with plenty of natural visiting spots nearby. The space is well designed and a cosy winter escape.

Stayed here before and it doesn’t disappoint. Great place when I’m working in the area and need somewhere cosy, good value and with everything I need for a few nights away. Great little gem of a place I return to as needed.
