We loved our stay, beautiful place and hot tub in a stunning location! We didn't touch our car until we had to leave as we walked everywhere! Niamh was super friendly and helpful and reactive to messages. The house has all you would ask for and more!!!! 1000% recommend!

Well where to start, a lovely place out of site where you can enjoy your vacation in private without any noises. From start to finish from the very get go, the host was on point with communication and kept us informed and posted and was always on standby if we needed him. A big shoutout to SAM the host! Had a lovely two days stay and would definitely recommend to anyone that’s looking to get a way just to relax and enjoy. The images don’t do it justice looks better in person. Will deffo recommend and will deffo be back. Thank you guys.

Beautiful two night stay at coach house. Definitely will book again. Such a tranquil place and accomodation is well curated with everything you need. Perfect for us and two children. Lovely views from the garden and hot tub. Watch the moon in the evening whilst you soak in hot tub, what more could you want!

Our stay at Belle Vue Holiday Cottage, hosted by Janet and Richard, was delightful. This charming two-bedroom retreat perfectly balances comfort and convenience, making it an ideal getaway. The cottage is well-equipped, with a powerful shower for post-exploration refreshment and a kitchen stocked with essentials, even for preparing Christmas dinner. The hot tub was a luxurious highlight, and the peaceful garden offered stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. Dog-friendly, it was a hit with our furry companion too! The location is excellent, offering a quiet escape with shops and pubs a short drive away. Scenic walks nearby cater to all abilities, from avid hikers to casual strollers. Janet and Richard were wonderful hosts—attentive, friendly, and thoughtful, with attention to detail that made our stay special. If you’re looking for a cozy, well-located cottage with all the comforts of home, Belle Vue is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay through out our vacation. The host was very friendly. There’s ambient space for everything. Attractions are bit far from this place but manageable.

We loved our stay here, and are very sad to be leaving. We will definitely be staying at the cottage again, it’s a dream location and house. We felt super cozy and at home, we were sad that we didn’t get to spend the whole weekend there. The house was really clean, had everything we needed and more, and Robert was really good when we text him about things. I would recommend this to anyone who was staying in Chester and we will definately be coming back.

lovely cottage (dog friendly with secure garden) with all the amenities I needed for a short break, good shower, comfy bed, tea and coffee things, ice machine, fridge, freezer. Correspondence with the owners is always positive.

What a fantastic place, full of thoughtful touches (towels & blankets for the dog, lovely welcome basket of goodies) and a great place to spend a few days walking along the canal. The whole house has been beautifully renovated with underfloor heating and wood burning stoves downstairs, comfy beds upstairs, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything we needed to cook during our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a nice relaxing stay over new year, just what was needed after a busy family Christmas. Was a lovely cottage with everything we needed and some nice welcome gifts which were most appreciated. Location was perfect being a 5 minute walk from the Severn Country Park, river and railway so perfect for our dog walking. Our only issue was on arrival during a particularly cold spell the cottage had no heat on and took an hour or so to get warmed up which took the shine off our start to the break, other than great and we look forward to a return soon. Great country retreat. My wife, daughter, dog and I attended this beautiful spacious cottage for 2 days. The reason for the visit was to attend the Robert Jones hospital at Owestry which was a short 20 minute countryside drive away. Rachel the host lives onsite approximately 40 metres from the detached cottage, offering a very responsive service if needed. The cottage is located at the rear of the hosts house and is very private and is not overlooked. There is plenty of onsite parking and the rear garden to the cottage is totally enclosed which allowed our dog to roam free without fear of escaping. The interior of the cottage is spacious with a fully equipped kitchen including a air fryer and Tassimo coffee and hot chocolate maker. The host provided walking maps and local pub and shop guide which made it easy for us to plan our days. All tvs within the property were large smart TVs which was great for our daughter to catch up on Neflix and Disney in the evenings. Great value for money

Ive cottage was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly responsive and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The location was ideal, close to attractions but still peaceful. Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed staying at the cottage. It felt like home and was in a quiet, peaceful location. My kid enjoyed the walks and we had a great time. Lovely cottages in the Welsh countryside. 14 of us stayed the weekend before Christmas and had a great time. Each cottage was nice and clean. We were able to use the barn which is a large communal space. Carla and her family lived close by and were friendly and helpful. Would visit again

We’ve had a great stay at Emily and her partner’s place. Great location, walking distance to Tesco. You have all the necessary cooking equipments which is a great plus. Hot tub is fabulous! There is a small sitting area opposite to hot tub that you can cover yourself from the cold and snow at night! It’s very close to good hiking spots such as Aber Falls, and other trails around Betws y Coed. House itself is super cozy, having a 2 bathrooms is also great. Dinner table is quite big and enough for up to 6 people. Emily is very nice and responsive! Can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful little cottage, right in the centre, very clean and cosy

Great location and lovely little touches made by Juile to make it homely. Really enjoyed our stay. One small point for possible improvement could be better mattresses. Apart from that very enjoyable.

First of all a very friendly and personable host. An ideal property for a couple Cosy lounge, very usable kitchen, spacious bathroom with large shower cubicle and a good sized bedroom with comfortable bed.

We had a fantastic nights stay at Rita’s Retreat, we unfortunately had to leave early but Michelle was extremely understanding with this and responded very quickly to any questions we had! Definitely will be returning to make use of the hot tub 🩷

Unreal place, log burner and garden was a highlight. So cosy!! Went out to look at the stars at night and the location was so nice. Will be returning in the summer!
