Family-friendly vacation rentals in Chilean Patagonia

Our stay at the House of Alerce was spectacular. The cabin is very well equipped, we didn't miss anything and my family felt very comfortable. In addition, the heating makes the stay even more welcoming. The description in the listing is completely accurate. The only thing to consider is the location, as the cabin is located on the edge of the island. If you plan to visit places further out, the scrolling can be long. However, this does not obscure the excellent experience we had. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful cabin with all the amenities, such as the photo, the staff of the cottage beer point excellent! very friendly and gave good recommendations, the view and the surroundings really incomparable, they have on the premises a small stream and many trees. The best place to rest or do activities. Highly recommended!

Fanny and her husband are very friendly, they sent us recommendations, and they also let us in a little early since the house was free. The house is beautiful, spacious, very well decorated in wood and well-kept. The double bed is HUGE and the mattress is of excellent quality.

Beautiful stay!! It's just like the pictures, a really beautiful view! The amenities of the house are amazing and everything is very clean and tidy. I only have the observation and it is that the tub has a separate cost, since it is seen in the images of the stay. But everything was beautiful!!

One of my favorite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in! The location is magical - we watched dolphins from our deck in the morning and sheep grazing in our “backyard” in the afternoon. The cabin is rustic yet comfortable and had everything we needed! Fully stocked kitchen, cozy bedroom, and the deck is just amazing! Directions for getting to the place were clear and helpful - it’s a bit out of town, but it was perfectly central to all the things we wanted to see on Chiloé! Give yourself 6+ hours for the hot tub to warm up - it’s so lovey!

Great location, and it’s not as isolated as it may look like from the photos. It’s located in a complex of 12 houses similar to this one, with a reception and everything. They were also very communicative and helpful!

The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, going above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The property is spacious—it's actually a former hotel, so it has six en-suite rooms and an additional toilet in the dining area. It’s perfect for large groups.

I would actually recommend Isolde's cabin for those who want to come. It's everything the description says and much more, and I'd like to highlight her good service. Sergio and Mrs. Juanita and her mom. Come to visit and if you are a larger group they have 2 more cabins for rent. You won't regret it. Beautiful place. We'll be there next vacation. Thanks.

Super hygienic everything, the comfort is excellent and the location too. It has a very beautiful inner courtyard, with lots of greenery and barbecue facilities. Congratulations to the hosts!

Wonderful cabin! Everything was impeccable and clean, located in a beautiful setting with priceless views of Lake Pollux and direct access to it. Close to downtown Coyhaique but far enough to disconnect (35-40 min) and get to know the surrounding cities and towns. The road is unpaved but totally passable and friendly, we arrived in a 4x2 vehicle. Its owners are a delight, they waited for us even though we were late and they accompanied us to the place, giving us the instructions very kindly, and were always very attentive to how we were doing. The cabin is really nice, comfortable and cozy, it exceeded our expectations, we recommend it 100%.

Very nice and comfortable cabin, it is minutes from downtown Castro and almost next to a river. Although it is very populated, the surroundings feel like a cabin that is in the middle of the forest, adding that it has a nice view from the room since there is a field behind it. Additionally, Oscar welcomed us very kindly and with the fireplace on since it was quite cold. He also showed us the main tourist spots on the island to visit. My partner loved it!

The house is simple, but it serves very well for a few days of lodging. It is about 20 minutes walk from the center, from which the buses and boats leave.

Beautiful house but the view we had was more beautiful! Mountains and greenery everywhere. We loved spending our family vacation there. Play board games in the yard, wake up with lots of peace and quiet. The house is beautiful, clean and with very large windows in the kitchen, where it is a pleasure to cook and share breakfast. I'd go back again if I could! Thanks for having us.

-Andrés was very kind from the beginning and allowed us to enter before check-in. -The cleanliness of the place, impeccable -The kitchen is equipped and you can cook without any inconvenience -The view from the balcony is beautiful -The location is excellent if you have a vehicle. Downtown is about a 25-minute walk away and there aren't many shops in the immediate vicinity. -I would recommend leaving more toilet paper (they only left one roll for two people and 5 days) -I would recommend leaving dish soap and cleaning supplies. There's good internet if you go to work for a couple of days. The place is wonderful and you can breathe in a lot of peace.

I loved my stay at Graciela & Sergio’s house on the base of Piltri mountain in El Bolson. The house is a little remote which is great if that’s what you’re looking for! Sergio (Graciela’s husband) picked me up where I was staying beforehand in Lago Puelo and Graciela dropped me off in El Bolson after I had finished my 3 day stay. Their house is so remote, peaceful and tranquil. No phone signal reaches there and they don’t have access to WiFi so you are able to rest, relax and recharge!!! If you absolutely need phone or internet connection this is not the place for you. The house is on the base of Piltriquitron mountain so it is a worthwhile experience to walk/hike all the way up to Bosque Tallado / Piltri Refugio / and even the summitof the mountain! Plan an extra 3-4 hours round trip to hike all the way to the summit. The house is not super close to Bolson but you can still walk or try to hitchhike to town, and you can get a taxi from town to the house if you are out late for dinner. The bed is super comfortable, the bathroom/shower is nice, and they have pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. And if you didn’t gather already, Graciela & Sergio are such nice people... they even offered to have me join them for dinner the first night. If you want a remote and peaceful experience, this is the place for you!!

The house is beautiful, huge with great terrace and great views. Wonderful for quiet, sunny days on Chiloé. The pictures don't do the house justice, it's nicer than the pictures. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Pablo is an amazing host, and the place is just outstanding. It is a remote spot that requires detailed planning to visit, and Pablo, Consuelo and Angel were super responsive and clear, which made everything super easy. We felt at home right away and we had the time of our lives there. I cannot recommend the place highly enough.

A piece of paradise. Hosting is located in a place surrounded by nature and calm, between forest and sea. An ideal space to disconnect (or connect, rather), relax and enjoy the beautiful. Both Sandra and her family care that your stay is a delight and - from the moment you arrive until you leave - of small details that you discover day by day. To stay and live! =)

The place is wonderful,a natural setting, quiet, quiet, the cabin is small but has all the comforts to spend a few days. Oh and with a wood-burning stove!!!

Together with my family we are very happy with the stay in the Yasna cabin, it is a peaceful place with a very natural countryside setting. The cabin is very comfortable, with good heating and very well set to achieve a break. I recommend it, they are good hosts both her and her husband.
