Vacation rentals in Chiang Dao

We really enjoyed staying at The View Chiang Dao! Our room was very clean and our kids really enjoyed the bunk beds! Would highly recommend staying here if you’re in Chiang Dao。

The mountain view from this accomodation is absolutely stunning. It is even more beautiful than seen on the pictures that are provided here on airbnb. The room was clean and we had a well functioning a/c. The host is very kind, he gave us tips for restaurants and activities. He even provided us a free local dinner one night - becauee he thought some workers near the house were noisy and disturbed us, which wasn’t the case at all! There is a also a big, well equipef kitchen in the common area that can be used. There are 4 different rooms that can be booked, look ar the host‘s profile to see them all!

A little far from Chiangmai city, but if you want to have a quiet and relax time, It's a good choice. The sunset here is amazing.

Moo was the best host ever! He picked us up from the bus station and told us a lot about the village and Thailand on the way to the property. The accommodation itself is simple but completely according to the price and also completely sufficient. There's even a mosquito net. The house is the last one in the street and has a terrace where you can chill and eat, with a uniquely beautiful view of the mountains. Moo offered to drive us to various activities and showed us hidden gems of the area. He also made us a very tasty breakfast every time. All in all, definitely a great recommendation for anyone who wants to explore the nature and caves of Chiang Dao for a few days. We would always come back!

We had an incredible stay at Korn’s family-run business. The surroundings are amazing, and both she and her staff are delightful. Korn is very attentive and friendly. It has been a great pleasure to meet her.

Wilaiwan was amazing!! She sent very clear instructions and even went out of her way to look for a hiking trail for us. She left us a welcome basket with fruit, and there was cereal, instant coffee, and boxes of milk. Such a wonderful hostess!! The space is so cool, and it feels like you’re in the middle of nature with birds chirping, insects calling, and roosters crowing. It’s almost like camping but you still get to be inside and turn on the air con if you want. A wonderful place. Would definitely come again!!

Not much else one could ask for. A private cabin in the woods. A fully functional kitchen. A large outdoor deck and balcony. A large number of migratory birds. A killer view. It’s recommended that you come in your own vehicle, as it’s quite remote (although the hosts do provide a pick up service) You can have dinner at the resort 1km away from here - the way back is completely uphill and dark so you can request the resort staff to drop you back here for 100 baht. There’s a fully functional kitchen and bbq so you can shop for some groceries and cook your own meals! Highly recommend this place. Didn’t want to leave. Thanks to the hosts for giving us a chance to experience this unexplored part of Thailand 🇹🇭
