It has scenic valley views and a large private backyard, but is still within 30 minutes of the best lancaster county has to offer including Sight and Sound, Dutch Wonderland, American music theater and Strasburg railroad. When you step on your porch the river and surrounding property will take your breath away. We have a huge variety of birds, beavers, foxes, deer and many more animals. You can kayak on the river or bike on the trail. Visit New Hope, Lambertville and Frenchtown! *********There is a kitchen but no stove. Although we have stayed in many rentals, this "home away from home" was the best by far. It was the perfect, peaceful get-away for a trip. Everything was explained. And while in many homes someone has to stay in the "not so nice" bedroom, each room was modern, equally beautiful and the beds were comfortable. Each bedroom even had its own sound machine to help you fall asleep if you're not used to the quiet of the countryside. It was magical to wake-up every morning to the horses and chickens on the property. One could even feed the chickens! It was delightful to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or play games at night in the sun room while enjoying the nature surrounding us. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything one could imagine. They even had a delightful coffee and tea bar! All of the bathrooms had everything we needed including soaps, shampoo, and conditioner. It was close to all of the tourists sites such as Sight and Sound, buggy tours, etc. We didn't want to leave!

Juliana's place was the perfect getaway for my Mom's 70th birthday. Half of her sisters already live in the area so we were looking for somewhere to stay close to them for a girl's weekend. Everyone commented how beautiful the home was. It was clean and spacious and close to plenty of things to do- brunch at Speckled Hen/downtown Strasburg, shopping at the outlets, thrifting at the many thrift stores in the area, farmer's markets, and more! The rain kept us from being able to enjoy the fire pit and creek but it was such a lovely view to see everyday. Thank you, Juliana for sharing this space!
