Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Cheshire County

Our stay at the Magic Lake house was wonderful. There is plenty of room, it is very well stocked with games, books, toys, and yard games, and the lake was beautiful to kayak. We enjoyed cooking out, sitting by the fire pit in the evenings, and hanging out on the deck. Such a great place to visit with family. Hannah and Dave were very timely in sending information and answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!

Julie is such a kind, thoughtful, and responsive host! The cottage is adorable and offered everything we needed. It was so cozy; it was hard to leave! I absolutely loved how dog friendly Julie is and the cottage reflects that as well. There were dog beds, blankets, toys, leashes, and clean-up bags available to us! The outdoor space is lovely and provided great walk opportunities for us and our two big pups. We loved our stay and hope to come back again!

Chris was a wonderful host. Very responsive, helpful, and kind. The house was very well stocked with basics and overall well set up with a lot of spaces for adults and kids to hang out.

You walk into Eric’s place and it feels like a home thoughtfully set up so that you can just walk in and be comfortable. It’s an “and, breathe” kind of relaxing, homey place. Eric was super responsive to any & all questions we had. We absolutely loved our time there and look forward to rebooking in the future!

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

This house is absolutely gorgeous and also feels very relaxing at the same time. The views from the house of the lake literally take your breath away. Ewa is very responsive and kind. She accommodated us in ways she really didn't need to and we appreciated that so much. Wifi is great at this house, if you need to work or have meetings. However, you may have issues with reception (depending on your carrier) in the area so be sure to write down directions before going! Also the street is really just the driveway and it's not marked so be sure to follow GPS to know when you have arrived! We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It's a great house for 2 families to stay together! And the basement with the pool table and ping pong - wow- what a bonus!!

Melora’s home is lovely. The view towards the lake is breathtaking, especially with fresh snow. The home was clean and had every kitchen utensil/machine you could need. Most of our time was spent on the second floor and was such a great hang out spot for the 6 of us and enough space to do yoga as a group in the morning before heading to Mt Sunapee to ski/snowboard. Overall, Melora has a lovely home and she is very kind and always available to answer any questions or resolve any issues. Thank you Melora for letting us stay in your home.

Nice, quiet, private. Easy to find and everything was clean. The heater kept the place nice and toasty and it snowed outside. 35-40 minute drive to Mt. Snow. Perfect spot to stay and go to the mountain

Each time we've stayed at Laura's place it's like coming home. We spent a year traveling, and Laura's place was the absolute best for working and relaxing. We watched our favorite apps on the large TV from the reclining sofa in the large open living room. The dining room has expansive windows looking out to the hills and beyond. No need to work on the dining table as there are two work stations, one in the den and the other in the second bedroom. Both bedrooms have large TVs. We found every tool and utensil we needed in the spotless kitchen and made use of the full laundry. The beds are comfy, plenty of space and hangers for clothes and luggage. As if this is not enough, you can keep in shape using the equipment in the separate exercise room. The garage has direct access to living quarters. But the best thing about our stay was our hosts, Laura and Steve and their kitties. They were always available for questions and recommendations. We recommend Laura's place without reservation.

Great place! Pleasant and comfortable interior, good plumbing, ample space, lovely landscaping and an easy walk to Jaffrey Town Center. This is an historic building. If you prefer staying at the Hilton, this place is not ideal. Nevertheless, if you want a unique and comfortable experience with a competent host you will have an enjoyable and one-of-a-kind experience.

Our stay in Katherine’s place was wonderful. It’s an incredibly stylish space but very cosy and comfortable. The fireplace is wonderful. We were perfectly snug and warm, even amidst a fairly significant snowfall and chilly late January temperatures. Putney is a sweet town, full of character and the diner is great. We’d definitely stay here again. Can’t recommend it highly enough.

We had an amazing stay at Pam's Country Comfort apartment in Hillsboro, NH. A snow/ice storm almost derailed the trip, but Pam proactively reached out to avoid any concerns. Her place is even better than what's listed - very spacious, pristine, big bedrooms, comfy beds and well-laid out. She even had breakfast items in the fridge for us! For ski lovers, it's only 15-20 minutes to Pat's Peak so very convenient. It looks like there are many nearby activities to do all year round. We'll definitely be back!
