Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cherokee County

Palmer and Christine were actually a Godsend. We had an issue with our stay and had to find another cabin and check in same day. They immediately got in touch with us and quickly confirmed we would be able to book the stay. They even called out their cleaner on short notice and got her to come clean the huge home for our family. The communication with them was excellent throughout and they were so kind and considerate in our situation. The neighborhood was stunning, and the home was beautiful. There were many amenities in the gated neighborhood, and it was close by to multiple beautiful small towns such as Canton. The home itself was very unique and was decorated wonderfully. They had plentiful games and even a dining table that turned into a pool table! Definitely a great cabin for a getaway as couples or friends. We made quick friends with Mr. Bill and really enjoyed his company and conversation. They made us feel welcome in their home and saved our family Thanksgiving vacation!

This lake house is spacious and stunning with incredible views. Do not hesitate to book this place for your next retreat or vacation. The main bedroom is on the first floor thus private and quiet. The remaining bedrooms are on the second and bottom floor so if everyone else decided to stay up late talking and playing ping pong or billiards - the top floor still remained very quiet. The house was roomy enough for our large family but with an intimate feel. It felt like three separate apartments - yet as a family we gathered on the many porches for conversation and fun times. Our favorite was the screened-in porch on the first floor with the swinging day bed. I’m pretty sure we all took a turn napping on that porch. WE LOVED EVERYTHING! Slone went above and beyond to answer questions, give directions and offer suggestions. She was always pleasant and happy to help in any way we needed. We hope to return again soon for another family gathering.

Very beautiful place! Rob would quickly respond to any questions we had. The lake was beautiful. Deer was in abundance several times a day and they would just look at you. It was very peaceful. The house was spacious and set up very nice. There were some utensil issues but we went and bought some. The drawers in the cabinets were a bit dirty but no more than what they get like at home. A good swipe with a wet rag and they were good. Would love to go back. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking things.

This was the perfect spot for my Friendsmas weekend getaway. Elliott and Kylie created such a cozy and beautiful atmosphere. The fireplace and hot tub were highlights, and the scenic views were breathtaking. Highly recommend for couples or a Friendsmas getaway. I felt at home. The decor was absolutely stunning. Definitely will be booking another stay soon. Thanks Elliott and Kylie for allowing my friends and I to stay at your home.

Rob’s home had all the listed amenities, great lighting and very nice furniture inside. It felt just like a home. Our kids enjoyed playing the arcade game while we enjoyed relaxing. We didn’t even get a chance to try the hot tub which looked great

First off, Betsey and Scott were wonderful hosts and exceptionally accommodating! The home is perfect for a larger group that prefers a fantastic and upscale layout mixed with a tranquil setting. Can't thank them enough, and if our travels lead us to greater Atlanta again, we know where we'll stay!

The house location provided our family the ability to hike within the neighborhood as well drive out to other places in close proximity providing lots of trails and eating choices. The owner of the house was very polite and communicated throughout the whole process.

We had a fantastic stay at Gary and Sherry's home and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a family-friendly and active getaway. The location is perfect, situated just a short walk from Playfield Park. The park features a wonderful playground for kids, making it an ideal spot for families with young children. The 1/4 mile walking path around the field is perfect for leisurely walks or taking your dog out for a stroll, and the tennis and pickleball courts are just a stone's throw away for those who enjoy sports. Inside the home, the kitchen is well-equipped, which was a huge bonus. I was able to prepare and cook a full Thanksgiving meal for my entire family without any issues. The kitchen has all the essentials you could need for cooking, and it made our holiday gathering so much easier and enjoyable. One tip: the host suggests bringing all your food items, which I highly recommend. We did not want to have to trek outside the neighborhood for pricey grocery items.

Here’s a suggestion for a five-star review: My family and I had an amazing stay. We evacuated from Hurricane Milton and Spencer was incredibly accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us to check in. Spencer was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, making the entire process smooth. The instructions provided were clear and easy to follow, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

cottage is ideal for a husband & wife with kids because of the second bedroom downstairs. My wife had a problem with the stairs that led to the kitchen & she wished that there had been a bathroom downstairs as well so that she didn't have to go upstairs to use it. Normally we try to stay in a place that has everything on one floor but the place we normally stay at when we go to Lake Lanier decided not to continue with airbnb but didn't tell us until the last minute even though we had already paid the room fee so in a rush we ended up staying here. We don't have any major complaints at all about the cottage because everything worked out well for us in that the boat dock had electricity to charge our boat at night & the dock was within a close walking distance from the cottage, about 75 yards or so, which was great. we would stay here again if not for the steps & the one bathroom. Amy & Matt were very great host & responded to us when we called them.

This is a great little house close to the lake for a getaway. The beach area was really quiet during our stay and is a short walk from the house. Just be warned, it is down a path with a section that is fairly steep, so may be difficult to carry all your lake gear to. The house was very clean and well stocked including a range of toys for multiple age groups which was a huge amenity. My only critique is the upstairs air conditioner (located in the master bedroom for the whole upstairs) did struggle a bit to keep up with it being hot and humid. The second bedroom was a little warm even with the box fan provided. Overall though, this was a great vacation getaway rental.

We had a great time on our impromptu trip to the lake. The house was clean and the sunsets were beautiful from the dock.

One of the best AirBnb’s we’ve stayed at. It was beautifully furnished and decorated for the holidays. When we walked in, all the holiday lights were on and music was playing - it was magical. It had a fully stocked kitchen, fridge and freezer. The bathroom was beautiful - a nice large shower and spa tub. All the other amenities like the WiFi and TV worked great. Very comfortable furniture. Perfect for 2 people. And we love the Dawsonville area - lots to see and do. I highly recommend it. Thank you Donna for your exceptional hospitality!

My family and I had a most relaxing, peaceful long weekend in Marty and Mike’s home in Lake Canoe. Everything was as described when we placed our reservation. We loved the house and will certainly rent again at some point in the future if the occasion arises.

This cabin was very impressive and Hassan was a wonderful host. We had another cabin fall through at the last minute and he helped us get in the same day and sent cleaners over immediately. It was a lifesaver. The community was also great. Lots of things to do in Big Canoe and also close enough to Blue Ridge.

The place was amazing and beautiful and had everything you could ask for on site. I would definitely recommend it and would also stay there again.

I chose this cabin because of everything it had to offer for our family on our fall break. I appreciated the ease of booking with Drew and his instructions were perfect, down to pictures! The very best part was arriving to the cabin and it being 100 times better than the pictures, the pictures didn’t even do this amazing piece of property justice! Immediately my family said “This is the best cabin we have ever been to!”!! We appreciated everything about our stay here at Frog Pond! We will most definitely be back and I would highly recommend this to anyone coming to the area! Thank you Drew for being an excellent host!
