Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cherokee County

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s but this was probably my favorite one! The house was beautiful and super clean! I have never seen a rental fully stocked of everything you could possibly need! Very well thought out. The beds were also super comfortable. Destinie was great and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay! We weren’t able to enjoy much of the outdoor amenities because it was freezing outside so we definitely plan on coming back in the summer!

Great house with amazing view and amenities !! Dave and Destinie are very responsive to our need and very promptly communication to ensure all is good here. There was some issues during our stay ( which is not the host fault) but Destinie and Dave were able to promptly respond and take appropriate action to remedy the issue despite it was late at night (10pm to 12 midnight). we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for beautiful view, and great location to different natural attractions in surrounding area.

Great place to stay and very clean. It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere we felt like as far as a town to make a run to get something but we had mostly everything before getting there. We stayed for the event going on at Indian Mountain Atv Park which is about 35 min out so parking was a little tight for 3 trucks and trailers but owners were plenty helpful in letting us use the backyard as well. Overall no complaints.

Fantastic stay! The Effie house is absolutely adorable and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, with views of cotton fields and Lake Weiss; sunsets over the water were amazing. John and his wife were so hospitable and readily available anytime something came up. Highest recommendations!

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!

We had to evacuate for one of the hurricanes. Jeremy was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. If you like the outdoors try his location. We saw 5 to 7 deer everyday and the forest/parks/waterfalls that are nearby are great. Would certainly stay again.

My husband and I rented this lovely place for our anniversary. The house was not only impeccably clean, but very tastefully furnished with modern decor. I loved that our porch looked out on the river! And kayaking was super fun! You can see that the owners put a lot of thought into the design. They accurately described what was available in the cute kitchen and we felt like we had all we needed. There are a few things we think other guests would appreciate knowing beforehand: 1. The cabin is close to other cabins. We saw other guests on their porches while soaking in our hot tub, and were close enough to hear them talking- though not distinctly. 2. The ladder to the loft is very sturdy, but steep so wouldn’t recommend for anyone elderly. 3. Watch the sunken drain area in the shower-it’s slippery (but only there). That said, it’s still worth 5 stars & we would definitely come back for a different occasion😊

The place was exactly as the pictures show. Perfect for a weekend get away. Just a nice place to go when you need a change of scenery without having to break the bank. I will definitely be booking again. Thank you guys for the weekend.

Cabin was cozy and everything we needed for a restful weekend. We hope to come back sometime!

This was an absolute great weekend getaway!! There was a little issue getting checked in as the doorcode had dead batteries, but hosts were very responsive and sent someone out asap to have that fixed for us, and then surprised us with a bottle of wine the next day as a further apology. 10/10 reccomend! So many beautiful hikes nearby and very good eats!
