Vacation rentals with a kayak in Cherokee County

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s but this was probably my favorite one! The house was beautiful and super clean! I have never seen a rental fully stocked of everything you could possibly need! Very well thought out. The beds were also super comfortable. Destinie was great and went out of her way to make sure we enjoyed our stay! We weren’t able to enjoy much of the outdoor amenities because it was freezing outside so we definitely plan on coming back in the summer!

Great house with amazing view and amenities !! Dave and Destinie are very responsive to our need and very promptly communication to ensure all is good here. There was some issues during our stay ( which is not the host fault) but Destinie and Dave were able to promptly respond and take appropriate action to remedy the issue despite it was late at night (10pm to 12 midnight). we would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for beautiful view, and great location to different natural attractions in surrounding area.

We had an AM❤️ZING stay at the Home of Cedar Bluff, LOWER Level of "Your Big Lake House." The pictures of the property do not do the home any justice. The design of the property ensures that all ages will have something to do. Viewing the lake by day and night while sitting on the spacious porch was absolutely refreshing. Destinie was an incredible host. Each day, she checked in with me through text to see if we needed anything. She even offered us a complimentary late checkout. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great area to get away with family or friends. Thank you, Dave and Destinie, for allowing us to enjoy the weekend in your beautiful home.

Loved our stay! Beautiful home with a wonderful view.

Great place to stay and very clean. It is kinda out in the middle of nowhere we felt like as far as a town to make a run to get something but we had mostly everything before getting there. We stayed for the event going on at Indian Mountain Atv Park which is about 35 min out so parking was a little tight for 3 trucks and trailers but owners were plenty helpful in letting us use the backyard as well. Overall no complaints.

Our large family of 11 adults plus 12 children all agreed that this was the best house we have ever rented. It accommodated us beautifully. The bunk room was a dream come true for all the cousins (children). The lot was great and had easy access to the lake. The kitchen was huge and very well equipped and the living space was wonderful and we never felt the least bit crowded. I don’t know how our stay could have been improved. Thanks so much!

We had to evacuate for one of the hurricanes. Jeremy was very responsive and accommodating to our needs. If you like the outdoors try his location. We saw 5 to 7 deer everyday and the forest/parks/waterfalls that are nearby are great. Would certainly stay again.

My husband and I rented this lovely place for our anniversary. The house was not only impeccably clean, but very tastefully furnished with modern decor. I loved that our porch looked out on the river! And kayaking was super fun! You can see that the owners put a lot of thought into the design. They accurately described what was available in the cute kitchen and we felt like we had all we needed. There are a few things we think other guests would appreciate knowing beforehand: 1. The cabin is close to other cabins. We saw other guests on their porches while soaking in our hot tub, and were close enough to hear them talking- though not distinctly. 2. The ladder to the loft is very sturdy, but steep so wouldn’t recommend for anyone elderly. 3. Watch the sunken drain area in the shower-it’s slippery (but only there). That said, it’s still worth 5 stars & we would definitely come back for a different occasion😊

Highly recommend! The unit was clean and spacious. There were only 2 of us, but the house could fit 4 people. It had everything we needed, from toiletries to appliances. We used the kayaks, hot tub, grill, and board games. The Wi-Fi was a bit spotty. There isn't much to do outside of the property, unless you're willing to drive at least 30 minutes, but we were only there for the weekend so staying within the property was completely fine. There is a small grocery store within 10 minutes. This was a great weekend stay!

Beautiful modern cabin! Super comfortable bed, and nice outdoor space. We loved the view from the deck to the lake, and the hot tub was wonderful at the end of the day. We enjoyed using the kayaks and the shared fire pit. It’s very remote, so not a lot of options for food nearby, but you have most of what you need to have all your meals there. There’s a fridge and freezer, pots and pans, a hot plate, grill, coffee maker with coffee/sugar/creamer and tea supplied. There’s no oven or toaster, so keep that in mind when planning meals. Two minor things that I didn’t love, but others might not mind; there is minimal outdoor lighting in the area (including none for the deck so that made using the grill for dinner a challenge, they did provide a lantern, but it didn’t provide enough light to really be helpful) and there wasn’t a curtain for the front door. The host did offer to install one when I asked about it, they were super responsive to messages. Overall wonderful stay!

Cabin was cozy and everything we needed for a restful weekend. We hope to come back sometime!

We absolutely loved our stay at Starlight Haven. It was quiet and the cabin was very nice. I would probably not pick a A-frame again due to it being aggravating going up and down the ladder. It was cool it just got old quick. Also I think the pictures were a little deceiving because I thought we would be more secluded. Cabins weren’t close but closer than I expected. We absolutely plan on visiting again in the near future. We want to try a dome or safari tent.
