The place was beautiful, the host was very responsive and the house was very clean. I would definitely recommend it.

Welcoming host and great apartment

The city is so charming and picturesque!! We loved exploring on foot from the Riad and staff were especially helpful in showing us around and touring the area. We really appreciated having the entire Riad to ourselves (we rented all the rooms for our family of 7 and still had beds to lay suitcases on) the host was very responsive and available. Be aware that it is a rustic town, so the access for cars/parking is somewhat difficult and GPS was hard to follow to the specific front door. Unfortunately we did not stay long enough to enjoy the beautiful terrace and breakfast was not available due to a holiday, but it would be a nice addition! FYI, our son fell ill in the middle of the night due to eating a meal outside the Riad, so travelers should bring medicines with and be extra careful. Also it is a steep home on a hill and one must be active/capable to access. We do recommend it for families and believe it was a good value.

Hanaa's place is truly unique—a beautifully decorated typical Chefchaouen house on the doors of the medina. It’s very spacious, with a lovely rooftop terrace where you can hangout or take your breakfast. It is easily accessible by car, which can be parked in the alley leading to the house. The house spans on three stories, so there are stairs to consider. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for large families or small groups looking to experience a beautifull place to stay, within walking distance of all the main attractions.

It was a very pleasant stay. We really liked the view and the apartment is huge. The view is beautiful and the big balcony is also awsome. We really enjoyed it mohamed helepd us with questions and was always friendly.

Bahija was helpful, considerate and accommodating. She went out of her way to make our stay in chefchaouen perfect. She gave us lots of advice and local knowledge and helped my teenage son and I to have the most memorable BBQ on her roof terrace which once we had finished was entertained by the most incredible thunder and lightning in the mountains behind her house. it was an evening that we will remember for the rest of our lives.

Very nice stay despite the rain when we came. The heating has done us a lot of good and the listing matches the photos perfectly. The place is ideal to disconnect and the location allows access to the medina on foot in no time. The view from the deck is beautiful, and even more from the roof! The host is very responsive and pleasant, always available for any missing thing as needed. In addition, there is parking right next to the property, which is very reassuring for our car and really convenient. We enjoyed our stay a lot, thanks again!

The location is in the very center of the town, and it was spotless clean! It smelled good everywhere, communication with the host is very fast and they are super nice and reactive. Will definitely stay again next time! 10/10 would recommend.

The place is well located for those travelling by car. You can park directly at Bab El Mahrouk and walk to the accommodation from there. The property itself is equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The Kasbah is about 6-8 minutes' walk. Note that due to the location, some stairs must be climbed. However, this was not a problem for us. I can fully recommend the place. 😊

We loved staying at Anna’s guesthouse! Such a beautiful place in an amazing location. Very walkable to the beautiful blue streets. Emad (a helpful coordinator who lived close by) was very attentive and helpful with anything we needed.

Zakaria was an amazing host and was helpful from start to end. The apartment was exactly as described and was in the heart of the Medina. Extremely walkable. The apartment was comfortable and had what we needed. Great for a 2 night stay. The terrace is shared with another 2 units but is beautiful with stunning views. The host provided several recommendations to us and booked transportation to the next city making our stay even easier. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a great stay at Dar Jinane, we really felt like home. The host and the co-host were respectful and responsive. The place was spotless and very clean. It so easy to walk to old Madina and close to restaurants. I very much recommend this place and we will for sure stay here again if we come to Chefchaoun!

A beautiful apartment within walking distance of the Medina of Chefchauoen. Very well equipped and with a nice balcony overlooking the city and the mountains around it.

We were 3 women and we all loved the apartment, which was spacious, light and airy with its own terrace. Thierry built/renovated the place during Covid, capturing the old city charm while ensuring attention to functional details like enough hooks in the bathroom and good lighting. The location was also great - just one minute walk from Bab Souk gate, so easy to access by car, but also easy to walk around the old city. Also quiet (except for call to prayer at 5 am which only woke us up once). Very comfortable beds with nice linen and down pillows. Thierry’s responded quickly to communications and was helpful in arranging transfers for us from Fes and to Tangier at reasonable prices - much cheaper than the price we were quoted by our host in Fes.

Loved staying in this beautiful apartment! The design is lovely, and what a view! Superb restaurants nearby, and very friendly hosts.

We were travel weary when we arrived at Thierry's Dar Dunia and enjoyed our unplanned rest period there a lot. The rooms were functional, but the really wonderful thing about this place are the terraces and inner courtyard (plus tortoises, which especially our daughter loved a lot). We just sat and rested and looked at the roofs of Chefchaouen and the star constellations above. Thierry was incredibly helpful and nice and gave us strawberries for the tortoises to feed 😊 🌈🐢🐓🦥🦚 is my daughter's contribution to this review 😉 She loved it.

I had a great stay at Thierry’s place! He’s very friendly and always available to help whenever needed. The place itself is clean, calm and comfortable. I definitely recommend it and would love to come back!
