We were travelling as a family with 2 little kids (aged 4 and 2) and the experience couldn't be more valuable for all of us. All members of the family treated us with amazing hospitality, making us feel part of their family for a couple of days, which was enhanced by visiting them during Ramadan, so that we could share all their celebrations. Our little boys had a lot of fun playing with the family's kids, they got to know all the animals at the property, and we went for a nice walk across the beautiful fields that surround the property, in the middle of the Rif mountains. You will probably have no cellphone cover and life conditions are basic, but if you are looking for an authentic rural experience in North Morocco, that's definitely what you are looking for, as it is very obvious the family is doing it guided by their desire to meet people and not to make business. Overall, and by far, this was the highlight of our 10 days trip across North Morocco.

Really enjoyed my stay here - the guesthouse is really off the beaten track in a very peaceful location (though just 1km from a tarmac road), beautifully maintained and Fouad is an amazing host. If you want to experience authentic Moroccan hospitality then this is a great place to do it.

My stay with Mohamed in the heart of the Rif Mountains in Ktama was nothing short of magical! The breathtaking natural beauty surrounding this area is unmatched – rolling green hills, serene forests, and mesmerizing views at every turn. The peaceful atmosphere was a perfect escape from the chaos of daily life. The hospitality was incredible; and went above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. The food was delightful, offering a true taste of authentic Moroccan flavors, and the accommodations were cozy, clean, and perfectly aligned with the natural surroundings. Waking up to the crisp mountain air and watching the sunset over the hills will forever be etched in my memory. Whether you’re looking for tranquility, adventure, or just a connection with nature, Mohamed house in KTAMA is the ideal destination. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and rejuvenating experience!

I had the pleasure of staying with Mohammed in December, and it was an unforgettable experience. The farm's focus on ecological farming was truly inspiring, and I loved learning about the sustainable practices used in the day-to-day operations. Each day, I was treated to three delicious traditional dishes, each prepared with fresh, local ingredients that reflected the rich culinary heritage of the region. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with the soothing sounds of typical Rif music filling the air, enhancing the experience. Even in the winter, the heating was excellent, keeping the space cozy and comfortable. The area felt completely safe, and I highly recommend this stay for anyone looking to immerse themselves in both nature and culture.

wir waren auf der durchfahrt und desshalb nur eine nacht geblieben. ein längerer aufenthalt ist aber sehr zu empfehlen. die familiäre atmosphäre, die grosse gastfreundlichkeit und die excellente küche machten den aufenthalt unvergesslich. die tagine rettete uns am abend und das frühstück verlieh uns die nötige energie für die nächste etappe. wir hatten eine velopanne auf dem weg und mohammed reda war sofort mit seinem geländewagen zur stelle und fuhr uns zur auberge, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren. mohammed’s aufgeschlossene und herzliche art baut brücken. vielen dank für die fahrt im defender und das „bienvenue“ in der auberge.

Séjour exceptionnel autour de la nature. Le cadre et payasage vous permettent d 'oublier les diffucultés du trajet. Cuisine bien équippée. Literie fournie pour 6 voyageurs en plus d'un lit bébé. Hôte à l'écoute. Je reviendrai prochainement !
