Vacation rentals in Chattooga County

We had a wonderful stay! The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We had everything we needed, plenty of space, and loved getting to spend time outside walking around the property and enjoying the fire pit. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

We absolutely loved our visit at The Nest! Jeanie's place was perfect for our weekend get- away for our family. We loved all the seating on the deck and the outdoor fire pit and cornhole. My husband and children had a blast using the kayaks. We made many tasty meals and had everything we needed to help us out in the kitchen. The surroundings are so peaceful and close to cute restaurants and Desoto State Park, which we hiked. The family did not want to leave when our trip came to a close. We would definitely like to come back if we get the chance!

Beautiful house and area. Made for a perfect engagement weekend

This was our second year in a row staying at one of Rocky’s properties. The location to the tennis facility is extremely convenient and the neighbourhood is nice and quiet. The house itself is in incredible condition and we had no problem getting comfortable right away. When we needed a quick answer from Rocky, he responded almost immediately which made us feel taken care of. Highly recommend him as a host and we will definitely be back next year.

We enjoyed our two night stay very much. We're a family of 7 adults and one 9 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone. Our only complaints were that the fireplace had a lot of ash left and the andiron was broken, making it a little difficult to get the fire started. Naturally it was colder in the lower level rooms since the thermostat was for the main level and lower level but it was not a problem. The small portable heater for the bathroom downstairs should be replaced as it did not heat. The main level living room had four chairs that look like they have had lots of wear. A sofa in that room would be very nice. We were asked to put the trash in the outside trash cans but they were full when we arrived. One of us drove a pickup truck so we were able to take our trash but it could have been a problem otherwise. We felt like we had plenty of space for our group of eight and would recommend a stay at this cabin.

Great stay! Felt so cozy and peaceful!

My husband and I came here for our 7 year anniversary. It was lovely and peaceful. I love the imperfections of the old cottage and its cleanliness. The hot tub, kayaks, and views are lovely The kitchen was adequately stocked and beds were clean and comfy. Shower was large and hot and the washer and dryer were very helpful! The house was stocked with everything needed. We will definitely be back. The town of Mentone was just down the road and we loved the areas. There was even a gas station at the end of the street that was very convenient as well! No regrets! Just a lovely vibe and great getaway destination!
