Campsite vacation rentals in Chattahoochee River

Jim was so flexible. At first I thought i was going to get there early on friday so I wrote him if I could check in early. He said I could be there at noon. We did not end up leaving texas until friday evening so we arrived around 10 am on saturday. The place looked so amazing I still wanted to stay an extra day anyway, I asked if I could add an extra day to my stay since we missed the friday (of course we meant to pay) and he said we definitely could and since we missed friday we could stay the extra day for free! I intended to pay but he said it was fine! Then he walked my kids and I through the main property. The deck, the boathouse, the lake! Wow!!!! It was so beautiful and peaceful! It was like a scene from a movie. Jim offered up sodas and waters and told us if we needed any we can get some at anytime. Walked us inside the main house and said we could get coffee and overall a great and kind host. While out he was messaging me on the AirBNB app to suggest places to visit! 🙌🏼

This spot was extremely convenient and cozy if you don’t mind smaller spaces. I had everything I needed, and despite some minor inconveniences of utilities, Shelby was super helpful and had everything taken care of for me. Would absolutely stay here again!

This place was absolutely amazing! My best friend and I wanted to stay closer to a festival this year and I am so happy we chose to stay here! It was very nice, and comfortable for us two! Most places now have very strict rules, but these rules were very reasonable and respectful. It was location in a very safe area with a beautiful view of the lake. The only thing that was not the best was the pull out couch(mainly because we are pretty tall women) but what pull out couch is 5 stars any way!🤣 We both said we would 100 % stay here again no doubt! Thank you Pat and Dave!

We had the absolute best fall weekend at "the Kayaker." We are already planning next fall. The tent had every amenity you could want and was so cozy (I brought a stack of blankets and never needed them)! The bed was so very comfortable. The lodge was much nicer than we anticipated and I don't think I've ever seen a campground bathhouse SO nice! We loved how private our glamping tent was but how easy it was to walk everywhere else. One night it drizzled and it was just so cozy inside our tent to play a game by lamplight with the little propane heater on. The fall colors were spot on and we were nice and close to hiking and mountain biking as well as an apple orchard, Wineries, breweries and shops! Can't ask for anything more!

Had a fantastic stay! The converted vintage school bus was unique and cozy, with a separate building that included all the necessary amenities. Both the spacious covered patio and the fire pit areas were perfect for relaxing and chill time. The peaceful, woodsy neighborhood made for a truly tranquil experience. Highly recommend!

Very nice get away, easy to find and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly ! Very quiet and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway!

Perfect camp out spot for my family and I while we searched for our future home town over spring break. My kids had a blast with Keri’s boys playing soccer and hanging out on the property with us. Keri and her husband are so kind!!

Beautiful site. Wonderful people. Picnic table with fire ring and wood provided. Peaceful mountain setting. Can’t wait to spend time here again in the near future.

I don't think I can express myself in words how amazing everything was. Lora and Buddy are absolutely Amaizing, friendly people. I felt like I knew them forever. When we arrived, we could not believe the view from the RV. Their property is a piece of paradise. We wish we could just stay there and enjoy the view, feed the goats and chickens, enjoy the creek and relax. RV has everything that you need and plenty of space, nice size fridge, TV in all rooms. We are defiantly coming back to this place every time I will visit NC. Thank you so much to Lora and Buddy for such a nice hospitality and for everything they did for us. We will see you soon and we really miss your place already.

Brian’s place was exactly what we were looking for. It was clean and close to Tryon International Equestrian. The description was exact and we had everything we needed. They were very friendly and welcoming and we felt right at home. This will be our new place to stay anytime we come to Tryon for equestrian events.

We had a great time! We stayed in Disco Daze & our friends stayed next door in the Flamingle. We had dinner, watched a movie from the front porch, & enjoyed time together. This was a fun night & a great stay. We love the Tiger drive-in.

A hidden gem for everyone who is into primitive camping / glamping. We were going up north to backpack on Art Loeb, stopped there to spend a night and stayed for two full days. The distillery is amazing. We had a lot of fun. The lake is great. Everything was so peaceful. Highly recommend to stop by and try all the locally distilled whiskey, brandy and liquors

This was a wonderful place to stay. I stayed for a week. Etic is a great host and responded to any questions immediately. I loved staying on the farm. It was nice to look out the window and see the cows standing around. If you are traveling through the area I would definitely recommend staying here. When i am in the area again, I plan to stay again.

This little camper was perfect getaway for our family to relax and spend some time near the lake! We enjoyed fishing on the lake and in the little pond. Jessica was BEYOND helpful!! Very fast to respond, and the camper was in great condition! If you need a relaxing, quiet place, this is the way to go!

Amanda and her family were amazing! Any questions we had were answered! Very friendly, extremely helpful, and accommodating hosts. Beautiful property, loved the privacy. The Airstream was everything you could hope for, comfortable and perfect for two ! ❤️

This camper sits on a property with an amazing waterfall with a nice creek running close enough to fall asleep to the sound of flowing water. We only used the main bed but it was very comfortable. The hosts are pleasant and very responsive to questions and provided plenty of information in advance to make the check in and out very simple. The outside seating is comfortable and functional and makes for a relaxing evening. If you need a budget friendly place with an amazing view- I highly recommend this location. We were visiting our kids attending WCU and the close approximation to their apartment and the WCU campus made this a perfect spot to feel like you were “getting away” without giving up a lot of travel time for the pleasure. Paved access all the way to the front door is nice for those rainy days. Would definitely recommend this host to anyone.

We had an amazing stay. Everything about the place was lovely and we enjoyed it very much. Megan responded quickly every time and we love the beautiful area and privacy. We’ll definitely be back!

Our stay was lovely. Just right for what we want. Beautiful surroundings, great location, clean, peaceful, comfortable, relaxing, private, had everything we would need, and they were excellent hosts. Very friendly and thorough. The fire pit and creek were a big plus. Definitely want to make it back again.
