Vacation rentals in Châteauponsac

We had a lovely 8 days. Living room, dining / kitchen are rather large and well equipped. The number of bedrooms was satisfactory for us 8, the 2 downstairs bedrooms being larger and benefiting from their own shower room. The east/west exposure of the house makes it clear and you protect yourself from the heat by closing the shutters on either side. The outdoor spaces are really good: large terrace with two tables and umbrellas for eating out, and large lawn to feel offshore and let the kids run. The hamlet is very quiet. The proximity to the beach is a real asset for young and old, with a beautiful viewpoint on the Creuse, a welcoming lawn with shade if you wish, enough to buy ice cream or even eat, and rent paddle board etc. The sites of the Valley of the painters are very close by car: Gargilesse, Crozant, Chambon. And Argenton/C, the Eguzon Dam. Very beautiful and interesting.

Great value for money, walking distance to village and nature. Free parking in drive in front of house.

The house is great and allowed us to have a great weekend with friends: sumptuous and very quiet setting. The house and exteriors are very well equipped. Thomas had sent me introductory videos before we arrived, which allows you to project yourself. Thomas was very welcoming and concerned about our comfort. Thanks for the weekend!

Great house for 2 families, perfect for what we wanted. Lots of seating areas, kitchen was really well equipped. Pool and hot tub awesome. Nearby lake is good for beach and water sports. Hosts were great and gave good recommendation for a food festival in a nearby town. The house is in a very peaceful location, surrounded by countryside, which was great most of the time but if you want restaurants or activities it’s a drive. I would recommend the house though as it’s really well set up for a week with friends or family.

Very good stay in the countryside, Sylvie was very welcoming, the place was very quiet. Impeccable accommodation very clean, the only small downside we were a little cold at night.

The little nest where we stayed for a week is a real cozy little apartment with all the comforts. The location of the farm is a real haven of peace where proximity to animals is a real plus as is the shared kitchen that allows beautiful encounters... The region is splendid and is full of real natural riches. A huge thank you to Charley & Calum for their welcome, kindness and availability throughout our stay, for taking Milo whenever it was possible to take care of the animals. We will not forget our stay, let alone our hosts!

No complaints. It went well and all the equipment worked as advertised. It's central, close to the station and close to a Carrefour City supermarket.
