We had a truly memorable stay at this charming Airbnb in Sainte-Croix-Valle-Française. Although the journey to get there was a bit long, it was well worth it once we arrived at this peaceful retreat. The setting is simply stunning, with a beautiful garden that leads down to a tranquil river where our kids had an absolute blast playing each day. The town itself has a wonderful atmosphere, especially on Sunday when the local market comes alive with friendly vendors and fresh produce—definitely a highlight of our trip. We also took the opportunity to explore the surrounding nature and neighboring villages, which were just as delightful and offered a relaxed, laid-back vibe. Overall, we had an excellent time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and authentic experience in the French countryside.

Catherine and Alain are very welcoming, they are concerned about our well-being and do not hesitate to offer us activities. What a wonderful place! You can really feel that Anne and her equally lovely family have put all their effort into making this a very special home! Extremely well equipped with excellent furniture, spacious rooms and extra comfy beds. The friendly chickens and cockerel entertained our toddler and there was a river to explore right next to the garden. with all its beautiful roses. It felt magical, peaceful and just what I needed to get away from the stress of the city. Anne and her husband were extremely friendly and helpful - we were very well looked after. We didn’t want to leave. :)

This is a beautiful apartment in the center of Sainte-Enimie, steps from the Tarn, restaurants and many hiking trails. There’s a beautiful private garden, and the house is newly remodeled and very clean and lovely. The kitchen is very well stocked if you plan to cook (we did) and the bedrooms are roomy and comfortable. Christophe was very accommodating and gave us recommendations to local sights and places. We’ll certainly stay again next time we visit St Enimie!

Superb very spacious cottage, the view from the terrace is just grandiose. The walking distance between the parking lot and the entrance to the cottage didn't bother us, the vaults and alleys have so much charm! Pretty villages to visit and hikes to do nearby. We will never tire of this beautiful corner of Ardèche. Thanks to Nadège for hosting us!

We stayed at the property as a couple for a week with our small dog. It was just wonderful. The house is very pretty and cozy but modernly furnished. Everything is tip top clean. We enjoyed the large jacuzzi very much. Thank you so much for the warm hospitality dear Adrien.

If you are not coming here for a stay that is beautiful and (super) fully equipped or for the beautiful pool. If you are not coming for the fantastic outdoor kitchen and bar or the peace and location, come for the people. Sendy, Fabian and Lyna are very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The dogs are a plus (quiet and sweet). It's a fantastic stay and we'd love to come back next year.

We are delighted with our stay in this cottage. The house is perfect and the view is beautiful. It is very well located for hiking and practicing the surrounding activities (canoeing, caving, via ferrata). Catherine was very accommodating for our late check-in and early checkout. We highly recommend it!

Accommodation with all the commodities with a beautiful view of the lake. The two dogs and the cat are adorable and playful but won't bother you if you don't want to. It feels practically like home. Definitely a quality pied à terre to go hiking around the area. The lake tour is a must. The sun terrace allowed us to relax and breathe this beautiful atmosphere.

We had a very nice and relaxing time. The apartment was great for us, it had everything we needed and the view is beautiful. You can hear the rushing water, which was very calming for us. We received a very good welcome from Franck and were able to discuss local recommendations. A pleasure that is rare on Airbnb to be able to meet your host ^^ The rental is well located, you can walk to the center of Vals, there are several hiking departures and the small private beach is very convenient. The view from the accommodation is splendid and the whole living room very pleasant. The accommodation is very very well equipped. You can book without a second thought, you'll be fine;)

The accommodation was really comfortable, we had a pleasant stay. I highly recommend the hosts are very attentive.

Cozy accommodation for two people, well made and tastefully decorated, very clean, with its small charming private terrace, and the river a 10min walk. However, it is part of a gite with other bedrooms below and common entrance, but the apartment remains relatively secluded. Be careful for those who are light asleep, a church is right next door and the bells rang very early and very erratically throughout our stay. But maybe it's not like that all the time.
