Family-friendly vacation rentals in Charny-Orée-de-Puisaye

We really loved our stay, and felt immediately at home - we were two families with three kids between us, aged 5, 2 and 1. The kids loved the toys and the garden was totally enclosed and safe for them to play in. We were visiting for a bouldering trip, and were able to get where we needed to go with the car - Petit Bois was 8 mins away, but nowhere was much more than 30 mins. We also loved having the local woods and park to keep the kids and a dog entertained on wetter days. Anne-Marie met us on arrival and was really welcoming, explaining what we needed to know, and responding to any questions that came up during our stay. Thank you!

Sylvie was very welcoming and offers a place suitable for families. Games for children are available. The kitchen is well equipped. The spa is of very good quality and appreciable at the end of the evening. We had a lovely stay and highly recommend this place.

GREAT! We had an absolutely awesome stay. I have a host as thoughtful as Hanène. We had a surprise anniversary and Hanena was the best partner to make the party a success! Thank you a thousand times! The gite is superb, perfectly equipped, and very spacious . We were also lucky enough to have a beautiful tree! It was perfect, thank you for everything!

A very beautiful and spacious accommodation in the heart of the Yonne countryside. The accommodation was clean and very nice, very well equipped! Bonus point for the pool and jacuzzi area > top!

Pleasant two-night stay Comfortable cottage accommodation in a beautiful setting surrounded by horses. A little short to enjoy all the activities on offer: Hammam sauna, mini golf, fishing, etc. We enjoyed the pool when we returned from visiting Château de Guedelon Want to come back for a stay bringing the whole family together Thank you to our hosts for their friendly and warm welcome

Lovely home. Perfect to escape the noise and fumes of the city. With that be conscious that you will need to travel a fair 15 minutes to do basic food shopping. If you are looking to explore local towns, be prepared to drive up to an hour. However if you are looking to wind down in one spot, it’s great! Great lawn for garden games, access to pool is safe for kids with an alarm, jacuzzi was awesome to fill in the cooler days and evenings. Also the tv and Pool table was a source of activities. We loved the stay here.

We had a great week. Marion has already contacted us well in advance and mentioned what would be possible in the area. The house was even bigger than expected. Everything necessary to stay for a week was present and in very good condition. This house is highly recommended.

La Taniere is the perfect place for a peaceful escape. The accommodation is beautiful, set in a quiet village in a picturesque valley. Beautiful antique furnishings, a superb king sized bed, a thoughtfully equipped immaculate kitchen that had everything needed for inspired cooking (we are both chefs and appreciate a well equipped kitchen). The rooms are spacious and comfortable for a long stay. We came in Dec/January for a month and hated to leave! If you are looking for an authentic French countryside experience La Taniere is perfect. Madame Francoise made every effort to welcome us and ensure we had a comfortable stay and persevered to communicate with us although we embarrassingly speak minimal French. Her son Julien called and emailed us several times in advance to ensure that we understood where to shop and answer any questions we might have. Our every need was anticipated by our excellent hosts. We hope to return again to the warm embrace of Francoise! Such a lovely family.

We had a fantastic time at Richard's place. perfect place to relax amongst the beautiful landscape. He was highly responsive and sent through plenty of information. it was the perfect escape after a busy period.

Staying at Annick's place was pure happiness! The house is very large with beautiful bedrooms for everyone and an extensive living room equipped with books, films and vinyl. The house is very quiet, in the heart of the beautiful Yonne countryside. We would definitely recommend it!

We loved our stay in this house to spend Christmas with the family. The house is authentic, the decor is nice. It's a warm and comfortable setting. We were hosted very well. We visited Chablis and now, when we drink a wine from this region, we will think of the vineyards on the hillsides that we were lucky enough to see in real life.

Accommodation in the heart of nature and very quiet, close to a pond that you can cross by boat if you feel adventurous in the mood. We had a great stay, rewarded by several pike and pole outlets at the end of our lines. I would recommend the accommodation for its calm and proximity to the various fishing places.

We spent a nice week in the very cozy cottage. With kids especially great because of all the toys. Great to relax and feel "at home".

We had a lovely weekend at Laure's house. Everything was as described and the gardens of the house are a real plus!

What's more, Myriam and Jean-Louis are extremely kind people, they leave their home with confidence as if you were family! You are like "at home", they leave you total freedom, no prohibition! The place is great, the decor is tastefully done, the renovation is superb and the equipment is at the top. I want to thank them for this stay, we were all won over and we will definitely come back to their place. Thanks again and see you soon!

A very nice house in quiet and beautiful area Auxerres. Downtown is a 1.2 km walk away, but you can also get out of the city quickly if you want to explore the area. The hosts are a dream, one has a sense of belonging to the family. We will come back again and again. Thanks again for everything Alexndra and family!

The gardens and house were beautiful, and the garden was even larger and nicer than expected. We found the pool to be the perfect size for us to help our younger kids learn to be comfortable in the water (with close supervision). We had a great holiday!

Cedric and Sandrine’s place is super! We rented also the house attached to this house together with our friends. The house has an amazing garden which was great for our children. Lots of toys to play with. The house is in line with the pictures, descant furniture but nothing fancy, perfect with kids. And the biggest plus is the amazing pool! We enjoyed this place a lot, especially value for money!
