Excellent Location, clean & tidy rooms. Ashwin & his family were very courteous, hospitable & friendly. The location is very peaceful & will be great option if looking for a peaceful, hassle free stay. Food was homemade, fresh & tasty.

An Unforgettable Stay at Krish’s Treehouse Some places leave you speechless, and then there are places like Krish’s treehouse that make you feel something deeper—pure, unfiltered wonder. We recently had the privilege of staying at this breathtaking, off-the-grid retreat, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled high up in the canopy, this treehouse is the definition of an escape. Reaching it is an adventure in itself—a 5km ride in Krish’s rugged Thar through lush wilderness, leading to absolute serenity. The moment we arrived, we knew this wasn’t just accommodation; it was an experience. Krish, the incredible host, welcomed us like old friends, and his loving dog, Foxie, quickly became our favorite four-legged guide. What truly set this stay apart was the warmth and care put into every detail—from the beautifully handcrafted treehouse to the soul-nourishing, home-cooked meals that made us feel like we were dining in the heart of nature. Would we return? In a heartbeat!

The homestay perfectly matched its description, with all the promised amenities in place. The host was incredibly responsive, always helpful, and made our stay comfortable. The surroundings were stunning, making it a serene getaway spot. It’s undoubtedly a great budget-friendly choice, especially for larger groups. The drive to the homestay was exceptional, offering breathtaking views as you ascend 13 km into the hilltop. However, given its remote location with no nearby cafes, having a kitchen for self-cooking is a great advantage. The host also offers a bonfire experience at an additional cost, which is highly recommended for a cozy evening. What stood out the most was the 24/7 availability of hot water in the cold weather—an absolute blessing! Overall, we loved our stay and would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic retreat with excellent hospitality.

The stay was very good with all listed amenities. It's a very good place to stay if you a group 4-5 people and if you need to stay near to Agumbe. We covered Kavaledurga fort and Varanga jain temple. Karkala and many others places are nearby. Praveen helped us with the restaurants nearby and with the places to visit. Had a very good time here. Thanks for hosting us.

"A Tranquil Haven Surrounded by Nature's Bliss" I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mugilu with my wife and our furry companion. This hidden gem nestled in the Western Ghats proved to be an absolute paradise for nature enthusiasts and pet lovers alike. Mugilu, meaning "clouds" in Kannada, truly lives up to its name. The sprawling 10-acre plantation surrounded by meadows and plains offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. The lush greenery and open spaces create an idyllic setting that instantly puts you at ease. Our stay was elevated by the sheer joy Chiku experienced. The property's openness provided him with the freedom to run and play, making fast friends with resident dogs Chutki, Imli, and others. Watching him explore the forest and open areas was a heartwarming experience and something that's not easily achievable in a city setting. The warmth and hospitality of the hosts made our stay even more memorable. All the best to the Mugilu team.

Everything about our stay were just right. A wonderful property amidst coffee plantations. A heritage house which is quite well maintained. Excellent staffs to ensure we are comfortable all day long. Great choices of food (especially local dishes) considering the remoteness of the location. Ashita is a great hostesses and have ensured we had a great stay!
