Vacation rentals with breakfast in Charlottesville

From the time I booked our night Jan texted me. She was friendly and up beat and gave complete and detailed instructions. When we arrived we were greeted first by Jim. He was friendly and gracious. Then we met Jan who greeted us with a big smile. We shared conversation for a while and then checked into our room. The room was spotless with all the needs and more. We slept soundly on the wonderful bed. We traveled 13 hours that day so was a THANKFUL blessing!!!! In the morning muffins and coffee were awaiting us! Jim was so kind to help bring our things to the car! We will definitely stay with Jan & Jim again as we feel we have met new friends! Ron & Charlene Massachusetts

We stayed with Orv because we wanted to go hiking on Shenandoah park. Unfortunately we weren’t able because it was snowing and roads were frozen but we still managed to have fun. Orv’s house is really welcoming, we felt comfortable being there, he provided us with a heater so even in temperatures way below freezing we were not cold for a minute. We would definitely stay again!

We visited for the weekend and had a wonderful stay. Peaceful, unique, clean - first words that come to mind when thinking of the Fenton Inn. Recommend making reservations in advance (when needed) for local dining as some of the breweries have limited seating availability due to COVID. Recommend Bold Rock for great food, views, and outdoor dining. We drove to Crabtree Falls for the day, great hike and drive along the Blue Ridge parkway which is just minutes from this location. Excited to see a couple black bear cubs!

Great place to stay for hiking and a getaway

We were there for a ski weekend at Wintergreen and everything on the mountain was booked. This place wasn’t far from the Ski Barn. The farmhouse takes you back 75-100 years. It was a real unique cozy place. It wasn’t a slope side condo, but it had a lot of real charm. I think we stumbled on a cozy gem.

The house was very nice. Exactly what was pictured. Very accommodating for my group size, and very family/kid friendly.

Very kid friendly with extra amenities (toys, highchair, pack and play), large yard with swings and playhouse, and nearby park with great playground!

The Summerhouse was just as described and looked just like the pictures. Its a sweet older home and we found it very comfortable! Angela is a wonderful Host and she went above and beyond in her communications and the extras in the house. We got in late and were very grateful for the Milk in the fridge as well as some muffins and waffles. The coffee bar was great and had all we needed. We were able to start our morning off ready to go. The kitchen is wonderfully filled with all you need to prepare meals. We spent two weeks there and it became a 2nd home. Angela even dropped off some amazing chocolate chip cookies for us too. I would highly recommend staying here. The location is ideal and the views are wonderful!

Rosemary's Nest is awesome! The view off the front porch is a different movie every night. Old Rag, White Oak Canyon and the Skyline Drive are about 40 minutes away, Culpeper is 16 miles away. I suppose we were a little different type of guests, as we stayed ~six months. I was there to recover from a full hip replacement and the steep-ish driveway was perfect for physical therapy. Rosemary and Joe became like family, kept an eye out for us and they invited us upstairs for many delicious dinners and a Civil War quiz. If I have to get my other hip done in the next year or so, we certainly will be returning!

We loved our stay! It's so spacious with lots of windows and natural light! Parking was right out front with easy check in. The living room was comfy and the kitchen was fully equipped, but we decided to eat out for all our meals. Lawrence was so thoughtful and stocked the fridge with various breakfast items and k-cups for coffee! The bed was comfy and had plenty of extra pillows, blankets, and towels, if needed. He even stocked extra toiletries in the bathroom in case you needed anything! The only tricky part is the shower is on the smaller side so if you're over 6' it's a little tight in there. We loved the location! It was very peaceful and quiet but still close to lots of restaurants, etc. You could occasionally hear footsteps upstairs but it was never loud or bothersome. Lawrence also left a list of various recs for restaurants, etc. that was helpful. He's such a wonderful host and we would love to come back!

The loft was just as beautiful as the view. It was clean and spacious. We had issues with the door but the host fixed it as soon as we told him. 10/10 would recommend.

One of those rare places that has the fortune of a quiet, secluded lot in the city that has quick access to everything in town. Too many nice touches to mention inside and out, resulting in a comfortable and peaceful break from our day to day responsibilities in town. And that falls entirely on our host, who has clearly done this long enough to know when a little note or a bit of something extra in the kitchen can go a long way. Absolutely recommended, we hope to return soon!

We loved our Christmas holiday stay. It was so easy to come and go and not trouble Bianca and her husband, due to the well lighted, private entrance. Like all other reviewers, we were so very pleased with the extra touches she provided: croissants, wine, snacks, breakfast foods of cereal/oatmeal, yogurt, fresh fruit. There were helpful signs throughout to let us know exactly how the facility should be treated. The furnniture was comfortable and the kitchen just right for our needs. I was appreciative of the nice hot water for shower and great water pressure. So relaxing. Most of all was Bianca herself, always offering to help (she even helped me load luggage into my car at the end of our stay). A very gracious and giving host. We recommend this accommodation for anyone desiring a comfortable suite and extra T.L.C.

Did a weekend getaway to do some hiking and exploring Charlottesville. Minutes away from everything we needed. Everything was exactly as described and we definitely got our air hockey on. Layout was fine for socializing/relaxing and plenty of natural light for a basement apartment. Great value!

A really cool and comfortable space! Close to everything, walkable, and the loft was such a pleasant and relaxing place to be in while on our trip.

This is in a beautiful location, on country roads. Very clean, quiet and just what I needed. Georgi is a super host. Very helpful with local recommendations and did not tire of my many questions!

What a dream of a place this is, we wish we were staying a week instead of a day. The breakfast was warming and delicious. I cannot explain the decor and setup , except to say- the room was like it came from HGTV and the whole place had all the bells and whistles

Wow! This is a stunningly lovely place! Our experience here was perfect. And the breakfast was exquisite. The morning/breakfast server (Electra) was super friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. We will most certainly stay here again.

Outstanding hosts. Honestly cannot wait to book again. They are very responsive. The space is very large and has a beautiful decor. Shower is fantastic. It has a totally separate entrance and parking area. The place was very clean.

Anne’s place was absolutely spotless, beautifully designed and perfect for our weekend in Charlottesville! She was so thoughtful and made us feel right at home. We cannot wait for our next visit! If her room is available you should absolutely book it!
