Vacation rentals in Charleville Forest

We had a really lovely stay in Rachaels clean and well equipped house. Its situated in such a beautiful, peaceful location surrounded by gorgeous views. We were lucky enough to have nice enough weather to make the most of the outside area which our kids loved!As mentioned in some other reviews the road in to the property is poorly surfaced but we knew what to expect and the location was worth it!

the house was beautiful. bigger than expected and very comfortable. kitchen fully equipped which allowed us to cook at home with the family . caroilin was a great host . communication excellent..the area is lovely . the purple onion restaurant was delicious. would highly recommend. not much in the area for kids but if you have the car for travelling you could go to nearby towns. we enjoyed the famine museum which was 15 mins car journey . was a great stay and we would love to stay at the house again

Great property, great house for a few young families to stay in. Gorgeous grounds. House has everything that you could need for all ages!

Just delightful!! From the start, Tom was the BEST HOST! Our family of five were going to Ireland for Christmas and that meant we had quite a few questions and requests. Tom was so efficient and timely in answering us. He even found us a caterer who provided a most delicious meal on Christmas Eve when we arrived! Check in was so easy, great directions/postal code made it easy to find. The location is magical, in the countryside, yet only an hour from the Dublin airport, which made it a great place to stay for our first few days. Walking the country roads was so tranquil and beautiful. The house was everything you see in the photos, only even more spacious. Tom also arranged for our granddaughter to have a private Irish dance lesson from his sweet niece. That was a highlight for all of us… and what a memorable experience! Tom went out of his way to help us with all of our questions. I can see why he is a SUPER HOST! The home is perfect for a family, clean and comfortable! Excellent!!!

What an amazing oasis in the middle of Ireland. Totally unexpected. The facilities are incredible and if you are a fan of Craft beers and IPA’s you will love the home made light and dark beers provided on tap.

stayed at Colm's lovely log cabin near Lough Derg, and it was an amazing experience! The cabin itself was beautiful, cozy, and provided a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. It was conveniently close to the lake, where we had the chance to rent a boat from Colm's private marina — a perfect way to enjoy the water and scenery. Colm was a fantastic host, always helpful and nearby if we needed anything. For anyone who loves the outdoors, this is a wonderful spot to relax and recharge. We'll definitely be back! Murf!

Pond Beach Resort was a perfect place for a quiet peaceful wind down away from a hectic life. It had everything you need and what a bonus to get a goodie hamper for breakfast in the fridge. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend and Iveta was a pleasure to deal with.

Alan was one of the nicest host! Not only the view of the property is breathtaking but the house is perfect for cozy staycation. I absolutely loved the thoughtful bits in the kitchen like the cute little egg cupboard and other bits. On the way back we had a bit of trouble with our car and Alan was nice enough to guide us with it. P.S - It was my birthday staycation and I couldn’t have spent it at a better place♥️
