Vacation rentals with a patio in Charlestown

Great location of this large light filled modern apartment which surpasses expectations in terms of ease and proximity. Conveniently located near shops and other amenities yet so close to the beach. We had an amazing time here with our dog.

Great position - shops close by yet you look out onto bush. If you like walking there's a great walking track adjacent to the apartments. There's also a great national park beach 5 minutes drive away. Comfy beds and great coffee across the road, an IGA nearby. We'll be back!

Pleasantly surprised at how spacious the unit was! Close to the beach and Ocean Baths. Easy to find and access. Felt secure and quiet inside. Well presented. Thanks Warwick - hope to come back again someday!

Great location with easy access to beach and shops. Deck was perfect for our granddaughter to run around on.

Absolutely perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Beautiful view, great apartment and brilliant location for some time at the beach.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. What a gorgeous little oasis, beautifully decorated, comfortable and walkable to restaurants, bars and beach. Very clean and the attention to detail was spot on 🥰

Although quite small, I found Maree's place comfortable with just the right type/size of furniture to make it homey and cosy. It was very clean and had these great little touches like snacks, fruit, bread, fresh milk, cereal packs, popper juice, and more! The queen size bed was super comfortable, and the bedroom had ample storage for two or more people. The bathroom was well appointed and, because it did not have a window, the circular skylight provided plenty of light during the day. The kitchen, although quite small was well equipped and had two hotplates to cook meals. And I was very impressed with the sharp knives! There is ample parking and it's a quiet neighbourhood with a very short stroll to the lake front. I would definitely recommend Maree's place to couples as a getaway.

Amanda was an excellent host and her property was the perfect location for a catch up with family. Easy walking distance to the beach and fantastic restaurants. We will book again!

We loved Anna’s place. Beautifully furnished with everything we could have asked for, a fantastic coffee machine and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The view is outstanding and listening to the sound of the waves made it incredibly relaxing. Appreciated being able to take our dog with us and the secure yard meant we could relax knowing he was safe. 10/10, we will be back.

Thank you Becky for a great stay. The location was very convenient to good Restaurants and cafes. We could have just parked the car and walked to each location. The house was spacious with everything that you would need. The only issue that we experienced was the lack of water pressure in the bathrooms.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Olas cottage. It was very easy to follow check-in instructions and the house was immaculate upon arrival. We loved how close it was to all of the wineries, pubs and shops. Best of all if we didn’t feel like going it was plenty of fun staying in and enjoying some of the activities Ola had to offer. Definitely had a good giggle with our crew ! Thanks for a wonderful stay. I’m sure we will be back !

Kez and Kev's home was just as described, everything was just as i hoped for, very relaxing place to spend quality time with the family in. Perfect fit for our family of four. The home was very clean and had all the necessary amenities you needed and more. great place to sit out on the porch and read a book with a cup tea while my partner fishing just in the back yard. I highly recommend Kez and Kev's place. we will be back in the future if we're ever in the area again.

It was only a fleeting visit but the house was everything we had hoped for. Very secure for the dogs and no neighbouring animals to set them off. The bedrooms get quite hot, even with the fan going, but there's aircon in the living area so we just slept with the door open.

Wow! What an amazing location. Close to Newcastle beach and the stunning swimming pools. 30m away a great restaurant and ice creamery. Very stylish accommodation. I plan on returning!

Morrad was an excellent host and provided an exceptional getaway for our little family. Lake Macquarie and Marks Point is an absolute hidden gem and perfect for even young children. The location was spectacular and provided many water-based activities for an active family. While there were several flights of stairs to access the home, my family and I saw these as a worthwhile trade-off for the tranquility that the home offered. Definitely recommended and would not hesitate to stay here again in the future. Thanks again Morrad for your hospitality and kindness!

Great little place in the backstreet of Speers Point. Has lake views from both upstairs and downstairs. Small spaces, but was perfect for what we needed.
