Vacation rentals with a patio in Charlestown

Great location of this large light filled modern apartment which surpasses expectations in terms of ease and proximity. Conveniently located near shops and other amenities yet so close to the beach. We had an amazing time here with our dog.

Cindy and Andrew’s place is in a great location - close to shops and the Fernleigh Track. Public parking is out the front of the accomodation which can fill up at times. Cindy was great with communication. We had a lovely stay and would recommend

Such a great location near Bar Beach. The big back deck made for a wonderful spot to catch up with family. The house had everything we could have needed to feel at home. The high chair was a super helpful addition for our little one. Nic and Olivia were great to deal with.

Had an amazing night, wish we had more time to stay longer. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed ❤️

An amazing apartment with everything at your fingertips. We parked the car downstairs and had no need to use it for the 2 days we stayed as you can walk everywhere!! Beaches and restaurants minutes away. Would highly recommend Bianca’s little oasis!!

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful apartment, a tranquil little oasis in the middle of the city. It’s perfectly located with easy walking distance to many restaurants and cafes. Nicole was a fantastic host, everything was so easy and communication was flawless, we felt so welcomed. The apartment was beautiful, beds and couch were extremely comfortable and the rooftop terrace superb. Nicole added so many thoughtful little touches throughout that made this experience one of my favourite properties. Thanks again for having us, Nicole we will absolutely be back.

This place is great. Right in the centre of Newcastle, close to restaurants, pubs and the harbour. It felt like a high end hotel. Very clean and excellent appliances. Parking was easy. Key pick up easy. Awesome one bedder to escape for a few nights. Thanks Mike

We loved Anna’s place. Beautifully furnished with everything we could have asked for, a fantastic coffee machine and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The view is outstanding and listening to the sound of the waves made it incredibly relaxing. Appreciated being able to take our dog with us and the secure yard meant we could relax knowing he was safe. 10/10, we will be back.

Becky was the kindest host. She was responsive, helpful and would go out of her way to accomodate our needs. The beaches are so busy in Newcastle so it was so great to be able easily walk with prams to Newcastle beach and eateries and avoid needing to find a carpark. Parking was easy on the streets and the rooms and bathrooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Ola and Barn truly thought of every detail, making our experience so much more enjoyable. The kids’ room was a highlight—complete with a toy box full of hours of entertainment! We even had beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the house that made the holiday extra special. It felt like they went above and beyond to create a welcoming, thoughtful space for our entire family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, from all sorts of plates and dishes for our antipasto platter to even the tiniest things you might forget—like a screwdriver! We were so grateful for that, especially when we realized we needed it to add batteries to the kids’ Christmas presents. The little touches made all the difference, and it felt like the hosts were truly invested in ensuring we had a perfect stay. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, thoughtful, and well-equipped getaway! Thank you Ola & Barn!

This place was beautiful to stay at and had wonderful amenities. Our stay was comfortable and the hosts were very accommodating and responsive. They were so great to deal with. A couple of maintenance opportunities identified, but otherwise it was one of our favourite AirBnB's to date.

We felt right at home, the moment we stepped inside. The waterfront area was very peaceful and we enjoyed our kayaking. There was enough kayak for 5 people. Great place for fishing as well. The place had everything for staying, cooking. One thing would make this even more enjoyable was skewers and stands for campfire barbecue. The host were super nice. They recommended few places to visit and they were absolutely worth the time. Woollies was just 3-5 min drive away. Great place, recommend everyone to check it out.

Perfect Stay for Our Family! We had a fantastic time at this Airbnb. Close to shops, restaurants, and stunning beaches. The house itself is spacious and well-equipped, making it perfect for our small dog and two teenage boys. Lauren was incredibly responsive and a wonderful host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We will definitely be back for another visit! Highly recommend!

Travis was fantastic and the place was wonderful. Close to amazing beaches, restaurants and the beautiful Newcastle swimming baths.

Idyllic spot. Morrad has thought of everything ahead, so that we didn't have to. Free step workout was as described and fine with great views en route. Friendly and helpful host who clearly cares about property. Kayaks and SUPB for Naru beach and surrounds were wonderful. Tight but equipped kitchen with 2 ring hob and mini oven met our needs. Gated garden, so no issue for kids or pooches. |Front deck great to watch the world go by on lake. Definitely recommend and will return - thanks Morrad :)
