Places to stay in Chappell Hill

Kristina was very accommodating with our last minute check in due to recent power outages. We easily found the place and enjoyed walking around the grounds. The hammocks look like the perfect place for a relaxing nap. We saw a few cardinals near the creek and lots of beautiful plants everywhere. The AC worked perfectly and the mini fridges fit quite a lot. The beds were comfy and they have plenty of amenities along with appliances in the shared kitchen in addition to various items in the kitchenettes. We're already looking forward to another stay as we really like the location since it's close to Round Top, Brenham/Chappell Hill area and Saddlehorn Winery.

What a wonderful stay. We visited this home with another family, so we had 4 adults and 3 kids (all under 3 years old). The home was friendly for our littles, not too many breakables or unsafe items to worry about. We felt like there was plenty of space for all of us. The real highlight though was the scenery around the house. Pastures with flowers blooming full of goats, sheep, and a single donkey, pig, and turkey mixed in. Feeding the donkey was a favorite. They also had a chicken area with adult+baby chicks. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen, and it had everything we needed. We forgot to bring chicken bullion, and Nahida was kind enough to share some of hers. A couple notes that may be helpful for future visitors: Some of the doors stick a bit, and it was hard for our 3 year old to open them if they were closed all the way. The bathroom is only accessible through either of the bedrooms which was a bit tricky after we put the kids to bed having to sneak through.

The lovely home we rented was exactly as Hugo described and he was easily available for any question we had. The home was peaceful and comfortable, and will gladly rent through Hugo in the future. No issues and no complaints. Laurie Porter

The most important thing is quick communication and to get any issues resolved ASAP and Nikky is there for you 24/7. Enjoyed the stay and would definitely recommend.

Pristine, peaceful, and beautifully untouched, it’s a sanctuary for the soul. The fishing was rewarding, the land felt sacred in its stillness, and the host welcomed us with genuine warmth. In a world that rarely slows down, this is a rare pocket of calm where you can breathe deeply, reconnect, and remember what matters. My wife and I first discovered this place through a YouTube video Jon B shared, and the moment we saw it, we knew we had to go. Experiencing it in person was even more meaningful than we imagined. I’ll carry this trip with me and without a doubt, I’ll be back. Highly recommend.
