This is a magical home in a quiet location with beautiful surroundings. The host is very kind and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

This place is really nice. It is in an artistic setting with several building amenities. It is a comfortable space with hosts who were responsive to my questions. I enjoyed staying here and can't wait to return.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we arrived, the sweeping panoramic views stole our breath. Our hosts went above and beyond, greeting us with baskets of freshly picked fruits each morning that fueled our adventures around the farm.

This was our 2nd stay at this location in a 6-month time period. Great place and we will be back.

We had read that a lot of people had wished they had stayed in La Fortuna their whole stay so we decided to do all 7 days there and we were happy we did! We had a great short stay, could return already to continue discovering the many things to do, bathing, hiking, and the like. Wow what an amazing view! Also an amazing garden full of hummingbirds and other lovely birds. Friendly horse that came to visit twice and reached its head over the fence. Neighbor Lilander gave us a picturesque horseback ride with a gorgeous jungle hike to a private waterfall. El Castillo is a remote, steep village. The bakery is terrific and the little market is super helpful. We enjoyed La Ventanita and Fusion for dinners. Anna and the other hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful. Thank you!!

We stayed at this cottage for the weekend with my family and the experience was just spectacular. The place is too nice, surrounded by nature and with one of the best views of the Central Valley we have seen. The cabin is very well equipped, all spotless and thoughtful down to the last detail. It breathes tranquility and feels a real connection to the environment. It is located very close to the Barva Volcano, which makes it ideal for those who enjoy the mountain and the fresh air. Definitely a place we want to go back to. 100% recommended!

The most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. I would say you have to really be a nature person because you’re practically in the forest, therefore bugs and small critters are bound to make its way in at some point which I didn’t really mind. Other than that, you’re in peace when staying here. We saw toucans, macaws, frogs, we were able to hear howler monkeys, it was beautiful! Absolutely beautiful!
