Cottage vacation rentals in Chanaz

Pretty and comfortable house as described, we were hosted very well by Laurent as well as the people who take care of the maintenance. The house is largely sized for our family of two parents + 4 teenagers, everyone found their place easily. Laurent takes particular care of the comfort and well-being of his tenants and everyone is very friendly! The small center a few minutes drive away (15 min walk for the brave ones) offers all the necessary food shops, the municipal beach is certainly paid but is great (diving board, supervised swimming, refreshment, cleanliness) and obviously the surroundings offer many opportunities for visits, activities and hikes easy and less easy.

Julien very nice . Clean functional accommodation where you feel good. Ideal for a family of 3 people, dog accepted a plus. Walled garden with a breathtaking view of the mountain. Peaceful village, animals: nearby horse donkey ideal for children, number of hiking walks to do , Annecy 45 min away , la clusaz resort 45 min away for skiing or mandigod. Sambuy resort closed since 2023 but ski touring possible or walks , faverges market on Wednesday mornings to do . highly recommended accommodation +++

We had a wonderful Christmas in this house, it happened very quickly and we would have stayed longer. The house is just as it appears in the photos, very cozy, with everything you need to make your stay perfect. There is a wood burning fireplace and pellet heating, plus an electric heater, even though it's cold outside the house is very warm. The room is gorgeous and comfortable It has a full kitchen and a bathroom with a good bathtub. The only downside is that the bathroom is downstairs and the room upstairs, but it wasn't important to us. It's in a very quiet area, there are no shops around. Time gives us a snowfall that left a beautiful view. The location seemed perfect for us to visit surroundings and even ski: Annecy 25 minutes Geneva 30 minutes Chamonix 1h Megeve 1h Sixt Fer in Cheval 1h La Clusaz 45 min Gerald was a magnificent anditrión, he was attentive at all times and was super friendly, we hope to see you again soon.

We've spent a great vacation in St. Jorioz at the lake - it really is a treasure. The cottage is situated right by the lake and offers great views of the mountains, the lake, and the paragliders flying over it. We've had our bikes with us and hardly used the car to get all around the lake. The Boulangerie du Lac is just a few minutes away and offers great french pastries for breakfast and sandwiches to take on trips, various rental places for sailboates and paddle boards at reasonable prices are also near by.

Very welcoming home, very well maintained, very good bedding, everything is well thought out nothing is left to chance. Interior and exterior were great. We spent a weekend with the children and grandchildren (9) to celebrate my retirement. Young and old were delighted. I recommend this house for its calm and location by the water. Thank you.

Catherine and her husband welcomed us personally and we immediately felt at home. The two were always there when you needed them. The surroundings are very nice and by bike and car you can discover even nicer corners and especially lakes. We will try to come back in case we can immerse ourselves in pure relaxation again.

We are a group of friends and enjoy getting together with our respective families. Alain and Nathalie's cottage is perfect for this! Spacious, well-equipped, newly renovated and very pleasant to stay in. The comfortable sleeping capacity and the playroom with hammock are an undeniable plus! Having a table in the kitchen area and one in the living-dining room also makes preparing meals much easier. Located in the heart of Bugey, peaceful place with many excursions easily accessible 10-15 minutes by car (waterfall, water source, fruit shop with sale of Comté and others), ideal with young children. Alain was very welcoming, really accommodating on check-in and check-out, supporting our request for excursion advice on our stay. We even had the chance to visit the cows on his nephew's farm with him, it was a big hit, thanks again!! A property to remember with pleasure :)

The host is super nice. The location right by the nature reserve is super quiet and the garden is huge. The empty gas bottle for the grill was immediately replaced by a full one on the same day, so the planned barbecue evening didn't have to go out. The 2 weeks were wonderful. For early swimming, you can walk 10 minutes from the inn through the nature reserve to the lake. Or you can take the bike. Overall, we were very satisfied. Pure nature, mountain walks and delicious food. Relax here at Lake Annecy.

We had a great time at Natalie's place, it fully met our expectations. It was functional and very well-equipped (shower gel, towels, bed linens, iron...). The instructions were clear, the lockbox is very convenient and allows autonomy for our arrival and departure. Natalie was very responsive when we had any questions. I definitely recommend staying. Thanks for the stay. ☺️

A great place with at fantastic view! A perfect location for a holiday, all in our family loved the place. The house was clean, comfortable, private and with a nice pool. Vincent was very helpful, and we will highly recomment his place.

A wonderful house with a homely atmosphere, rich in amenities and equipment and good spacious rooms. charming dining area on a lovely terrace in the garden, all surrounded by lush nature on all sides and the lake a stone's throw away. There is great calm around the house. The area offers plenty of opportunities for entertainment and activities. The host is very welcoming and helpful. We would very much like to return.

Exceptional host in an exceptional place, Gérard's home is spacious, well-appointed and carefully decorated. The environment is exceptional, this part of the lake is truly beautiful. No complaints, you have to do it again and I recommend it!
