Clean, well organised, thoughtful touches like beach towels and outdoor seating and a great little sheltered area around the bbq. All day sun and a lovely outlook towards the hills behind the house. Fabulous beach.

Best Airbnb either of us have ever stayed in, in our extensive travels. We are still in disbelief of this home. If you have the chance to stay, do it. We had hesitated to book because there’s so much to do along the South Island, but now we know that this home is worth making the special visit. We will not be forgetting the serenity and beauty of Fallow Ridge: the uninterrupted panoramic view of sheep-dotted mountainside, the warm bath overlooking the sunset, the beautiful fog rolling in and out around the house. We walked along the road and down to the river and never actually went back down into town in our two nights because the property was just too awesome to leave; we recommend you arrive with some groceries as we did, in case you feel the same! The thoughtful details from our hosts made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. We were glad to meet David out on a walk and we regret to have not met Sarah, who we wish to also sincerely thank for such a lovely stay!

This was a supurb place to stay and the views and garden were gorgeous. It was just lovely to stay in a renovated historic home. We could have stayed much longer than just three nights! The listing was an accurate reflection of the accomodation. We were pleased with the location and glad we chose somewhere out of central Dunedin. It was a short walk to the esplanade, restuarants and beach. I would definitely recommend this accomodation to others.

We had a lovely stay with Claire and Wolfgang in Dunedin. It is a great and well-maintained place with character right in the city centre of Dunedin and at doorstep to the penguins and albatrosses at the Otago peninsula. Our hosts have been super-welcoming and friendly. Thank you again

Great location, communication awesome, lovely and clean, comfy comfy beds and great to find a place that has three bedrooms plus a lovely bathroom, great shower.

House was open, spacious with spectacular views. Being able to walk to Tomahawk Beach was a bonus. The sea lions at the beach this time of year was a fun surprise. A car is recommended but we did see bus service running within a block of the house. We could have stayed longer just for the views. Great house to stay in if you want a quiet place away from the city, but still close enough to get to shops, restaurants and other activities within 10 minute drive.

Don't miss a chance to stay at this sweet cottage. Beautiful views, only minutes walk to beach access, local cafe and convenient store just around the corner, bus stop to Dunedin literally across the street. Kitchen has everything to cook meals, bathroom has great water pressure. Wide beach is great for lovely long walks - keep an eye out at high tide as it can reach the cliffs. Dunedin airport shuttles pick up/drip off here! It's a great spot to live at the beach and still have access to the city.

The most tranquil place you will ever see. Glenn’s house was clean, spacious and comfortable. It is perfectly set out for 1-4 people. The view is to die for! Thank you Glenn for hosting us, hopefully one day we can come back again!

Judy was such a helpful and attentive host. The place was beautiful and peaceful with a beach only 3 mins away on foot. Me and my friends found the cottage very quiet and serene, just what we needed for our get away. The ammenities provided were wonderful and the cottage itself was very beautiful with lots of character. Would definitely recommend even for a little break travelling between cities.

What a spot! and accomodation to match that made us feel instantly relaxed. Everything was extremely clean and tidy and well looked after. Nice to have the amenity of a full kitchen and easy walk down to the dairy and across to the beach for a dip! Hope to come back and enjoy another beach holiday :).
