Really enjoyed our stay - loved the pool and outdoor area - it was perfect. Everything was as described and we had a lovey few days relaxing. Highly recommend.

Our stay on the plot was unbeatable. The houses are perfect, everything is very clean and spacious and Estela and her family have treated us phenomenally. He answered all of our questions and we felt like an amazing place.

Communication with Marina was great, responding to the moment and giving solutions. We were 4 couples and a baby and the common spaces are perfect and spacious to share, plus a porch on the terrace that gives you the option to be outdoors. Taking a walk around the village is also very nice, yes, go before to the supermarket that the distances are long. Anyway in the village there is a shop with a little bit of everything in case of emergency. All in all, we had a great weekend.

Carlos was a great host. We went for a family weekend with my baby and 2 dogs and the house was great. Super rural and with all the amenities that any modern house can have. Carlos gave us instructions and information about restaurants, supermarkets, pharmacies… around the area. He even brought us a basket with the organic vegetables that grow it. All in all, it was a 10 stay, I wish all the hosts and houses were like that. We fell in love with Casa Cheerful in Orellán. Thank you so much Carlos! A hug.

My wife and I rented a car from Madrid to get to Peñalba de Santiago to spend our first Christmas alone as husbands. First time without our families. To our misfortune, the car I chose was electric and between searches for charging ports and charging times, our 4 hour trip took us almost 10! We arrived grumpy, dying of cold and hunger, to a cute village but without a soul in sight. Our fingers froze as we loaded bags and gifts, with our phones unloaded, looking for the house at midnight Christmas and couldn't find it. About to give up and go to sleep in the car, let's hear voices se niños laughing and screaming from a house with a light on. We approached to ask for help and the door slammed open… left the house no less than the Grinch dressed Santa and it was Maria Elba! We asked for “Casa Chyka” and he said “I am the owner!” She took us and brought us a delicious Christmas dinner! A Christmas miracle without a doubt!

Very pleasant everything, very attentive in everything if we needed something, information in places where we could go, we had a problem and I solve it in a very short time, the truth is very nice everything ,

The house was even more beautiful than expected and cleaned to a wonderful standard. The place felt homely and spacious with enough amenities provided ie towels, kitchen utensils, food items etc. Pool and grounds were well kept by Fernando who helped us out with some queries during the week. The ruins on the property have the place an authentic and rustic feel. This is the perfect spot to get away from it all for some peace and quiet in the beautiful countryside.
