The cottage is purpose built from recycled materials and consists of two bedrooms, one with an ensuite and a second separate bathroom. Peace & Quiet in the country!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay, even bring your furry friend, the section is fully fenced and awaiting you! The cottage was built in the 1950's but has been updated over the years, she has many of story to tell and we want you to add yours to it. The cottaage has 3 bedrooms, lounge, and open plan dining and kitchen which open out to a massive deck, ready for entertaining. Sit back and watch the sunset and the stars come out.

What can I say about Jude & Brian,s house. Beautiful surroundings. Peaceful. Immaculately clean. Plenty of everything you needed, towels, cutlery, dishes, plates, glasses. Myself & my 3 sisters were there for a family reunion in Te Hauke. So we spent alot of time at the marae. But to come home to a piece of heaven each night for a well needed rest was so awesome. Thank you, thank you, thank you so much from each of us. Truly appreciated your piece of heaven. Will recommend this place for sure, one of the best Airbnb,s I have stayed at.

Wonderful property with most helpful and friendly hosts. The property is clean and in a quite neighborhood .The guest stay is private, separate from the owner's house. Our stay with our toddler was really good and we had everything at the property for a comfortable stay.

James was very accommodating with allowing our dog to stay with us. The House was perfect for our wants and needs. The 2nd bedroom with bunk beds was a lot smaller than we anticipated, but wasn’t a problem for us or our children. King single bunk beds were a great size and all the beds in the house very comfortable and warm. Everything you could need for a simple beach holiday was available at the black batch, including a filleting station out back, and ports in the power sockets for charging devices. Maybe bring a board game or pack of cards if the weather turns, which we brought our own. 2 books for adults were available as well as unlimited wifi & Netflix on a smart tv. Highly recommend staying here with a short 1km walk to the beach if you like. (Pedestrian bridge had washed away but the creek was very shallow and easy to cross). Otherwise a very short drive down to the most beautiful beach. The children asked if we could come back to stay again another time. We all enjoyed.

Hey, sent two workers on a work accommodation here while in a Job o in Otane, they both loved it. Thought we would need a two bedroom house, but the house was perfect. Possibly might have more work on in Otane in the future, so definitely will choose this air bnb over anywhere else. 100% recommended .
