Vacation rentals with lake access in Central Frontenac

Above and beyond our expectations! The kids loved playing in the loft and the massive beam bag was a crowd favourite. Kitchen table sat everyone comfortably and perfect for all the hours of board games played. TV area in the basement was perfect to watch the hockey games and extra bar fridge handy for our drinks. Kitchen had everything you needed including compost and recycling bins. Beds were extremely comfortable and family room very capacious and cozy. My family has rented many cottages before and this ranks as our favourite, we will be back next year.

We booked Parker’s place for a few days in February and it was a great time! Would definitely recommend to those who are looking for their own peaceful getaway.

This place was spacious & beautiful! The outside area & dock was perfect for all of us! The kitchen was stocked w/ many plates, pots & pans. Would definitely come back !!

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

Our stay was fantastic. The home is a great size with perfect bedrooms and a great kitchen to cook in. The living room and porch were awesome as well. We loved the dock and the ability to launch our jetskis right across the bay. I will say, prop boats should be fine. Jet boats just be cautious of the seaweed. It didn’t stop the fun though!

Jen was very responsive. The place was beautiful and exactly as described. Very peaceful location and within walking distance of the hills.

Great place! We had a wonderful time in the cabin! The view is incredible, right at the lake. Colin & Kayla are super friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back!

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

The cozy flat was perfect for my visit to Kingston to meet with colleagues at Queen’s. It was a 5 minute walk to the university and 10-15 min walk to downtown and to one of my favourite restaurants - Chez Piggy. The view of the frozen lake from multiple windows was lovely and I woke up to a beautiful sunrise each day. It was a nice place to do some writing while gazing at the lake. I ended up staying an extra night because of a winter storm. I’d like to stay again for a writing retreat in the spring!

Jeremy was a great host. His place is beautiful and made for a great winter getaway.

Pam was terrific from the start - she was very responsive and helpful in all of our communication leading up to our stay. She was there to let us in and give us a tour of the space, but then she disappeared and left us to get settled in. The house has some great history and it is a 3 minute walk to the Main Street of a lovely village that is a great central location from which to explore the whole area. The bedrooms were spacious and very comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped. There is a small sitting area that is fine for beginning and end of the day (no TV - which at first was a bit of a surprise, but we actually enjoyed not having that as a default to entertaining ourselves). Pam is an artist (very good) and a lot of her work is displayed in the space which enhances the area. An excellent value, comfortable space, lovely host.

spacious clean apartment with small but full kitchen, comfortable living room and comfortable king bed. a little tricky to find .. house numbers small ... and had a bit of trouble at check in .. but Barbara was very responsive to a phone call and greeted us with the key code we needed to get in. no river view as it was fall but just a short walk from house.

This is a fantastic place. Saskia and Maarten are very nice. They sent us very clear instructions and recommandations. They also responded quickly to our questions. Everything in the airbnb is thought for you to enjoy and make your life easy. They are very helpful. They also provided an extension for us to plug our electric car. The place is very well located, close to Wellington and the Sandbanks. It is beautiful, next to the lake with a great view. They have lots of space and provide paddle boards, kayaks and canoes with direct access to the lake. It is comfortable and clean. Thank you!

Couldn’t get a better location! This apartment is also very cool and spacious, has everything you need and overall a perfect weekend getaway. This was our 2nd time here and we will definitely be back again!

My mom and her husband stayed in Christina’s beautiful home. They had nothing but great things to say! It was super clean, peaceful, and the view from the balcony is breath taking. She made multiple comments on how comfy the bed was too; one of her best sleeps in a long time. Christina is super quick to respond and such a great host. I have stayed in Christina’s place in the past and knew it would be perfect for my mom’s stay. Looking forward to booking here again in the future.

There were a total of 5 families (9 adults and 2 kids ages 2.5 years and 1 year). We enjoyed the side by side cottages and that allowed for some separation of families with and without kids. Cottages were quite clean and modern with good amenities. It was a very quiet neighborhood. There were watercrafts available for an additional (very reasonable) fee and we really enjoyed being on the water. We had easy access to the water. There were fire pits and hot tub, which we did not use. You’ll have to take the garbage out to the dump on your way out and there are pre-paid garbage tags. The process was easy and straightforward. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend!

Michael's place was perfect for a quick winter get-away! It was stocked with everything we needed for the weekend and beautiful on the inside and out. Michael was really responsive when we had questions and made sure we had all the information needed. Would definitely visit again!

We spent New Year’s at Leah’s place, and it was absolutely amazing. Her guest house is so cozy, and she’s an incredible hostess. Not to mention, her place is dog-friendly, which made it even better! It was such a memorable way to ring in the new year.

Excellent cottage! Spent Thanksgiving weekend with family at Deb's place. The location is amazing on marble lake with great water views and all the amenities needed. We cooked, BBQd enjoyed the wood burning fire place, relaxed and enjoyed each other's company. The walking trails near the property are also gorgeous and we enjoyed some great hikes in near by Bon Echo PP. We definitely will be back to the Daisy cottage!

Me and my friends stayed at Catchmore Resore and had a great time! we stayed in cottage #2 and had no complaints. We had a nice view of the water, took advantage of all the fun activities available, found the beds to be very comfortable and staff to be extremely friendly/helpful! only downfall to this cottage is that the shower head isn't adjustable...so the shorter guest found the shower hard to use. However there were other communal showers located on property so it wasn't the end of the world. overall we had a great time at this location and would recommend!

We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

Amazing 3-day stay! Perfect, peaceful view with a quiet environment. The lake is beautiful with clean water. The house is in great condition and well-equipped - we enjoyed cooking there. The owners are very nice. Everything we needed was provided. Highly recommend!
