We came to the San Luis Valley to visit family. We came from Kansas and Oklahoma. The house far exeeded expectations. It was very stocked, kitchen had everything to cook. I did an apple pie and forgot nutmeg. I found some in the cabinet! The yard was perfect for the children. We did all the local things: aligator farm, pool, sand dunes, and even drove up to Monarch Mountain to snow tube. The dark skies, sunrises and sunsets, were perfection. The home feels so warm and welcoming. We loved our stay here and highly recommended.

Great spot to stay. Our adult children immediately gave it a thumbs up (they are very picky). Very rustic and warm. We used the wood stove a lot. The cabin had a great atmosphere. Having the Rio Grande River 50 feet away didn't hurt the scenery. The cabin was well equipped. We had everything we needed to cook (we only ate out once). Of all of the airbnb places we have stayed. This was our favorite. We'll stay here again if we visit South Fork and Wolf Creek again.

We loved our stay in Crestone. My family of 2 adults and 2 teens fit perfectly with extra room to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and decorated well. The host was amazing! He texted us to let us know everything was ready. He was so responsive and even gave us recommendations when we texted with questions. The location was peaceful and private with amazing views.

We enjoyed our stay here for the weekend! The location was terrific, right on the river, and it was very beautiful and peaceful! The pictures don't do justice. It was perfect for the two of us, and our dog loved it! Check-in was a breeze and Lee was very responsive. I would definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The house itself is situated with a fantastic view out the front across the plain and the back face the local mountain range making for an idyllic spot. The house itself is very new and nicely appointed. The kitchen was very well appointed while the living and were comfortable and tastefully decorated. All this and close to the great sand dunes park makes it a place we hope to return to again.

We had a wonderful experience here! We were so grateful to find a nice home that allowed us to bring our dogs (they are our travel companions!). The beds were amazingly comfortable and that upgraded bathroom was wonderful! It worked well for my husband and me, our 16 year old daughter. She originally had a friend who was planning on coming with us, and the loft area would have been perfect for 2-3 kids! It was great to be able to cook out and just relax at 'home' in the evenings!!

We loved our stay! It was perfect for our family, teenage kids and a baby included! The homes amenities, decor and furniture are upscale! It stayed warm in the home and the indoor garage parking is a huge perk during the cold months! The river and scenery are incredible! The only negative part of our stay was disposing of trash! You have to take it to the local grocer and it is a huge hassle when you are vacationing and need convenience! The morning we left the store wasn’t open yet, so be mindful of store hours, you pay to dispose of it and the bin is locked! Other than that, the stay was wonderful!

This home was a great choice for our short stay in Crestone. The properly was quiet and peaceful with wonderful views and some beautiful garden lights in the evening. The amenities were great and the place was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely recommend this location and would hope to stay here again during our next visit.

I stayed for over 20 days and I felt at home from the moment I walked in the front door. Everything was absolutely perfect and spotless. I enjoyed the ability to hunt and fish along with great golfing in the clubhouse was absolutely wonderful. Perfect would be the word to describe this place and the hosts. Thank you guys. This home is lovely, comfortable and quirky. It feels like a mountain home, though it sits right beside highway 160 in Ft. Garland. That made it exceptionally convenient to all the San Luis Valley had to offer for those getting away for a few days of relaxation. The people in Ft. Garland and Blanca were welcoming and friendly. Maria was helpful and responded quickly to our questions. It was a wonderful stay.

Yesenia’s place was the perfect little retreat while a few of us were staying in Alamosa to attend classes on campus. Some highlights were watching the sunset over the mountains in the hot tub, incredible sunrises, playing pool, hanging out in the living room and sleeping in the super comfy master bed. The only downside was that it did get pretty cold a couple times, even when the heat was cranked up and that the twin beds weren’t comfortable. However, we would absolutely stay again!

We loved Brian's home and he is a wonderful host! The location was just outside of town and had beautiful mountain views. We really enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room and the bedrooms were geat too. We will definetly be back next time we visit Alamosa again!

Very cozy home, with lovely town close by. My family and I absolutely loved this stay, very private and quiet. Amazing view from the kitchen too! The neighbor was also very friendly and lended us a small fire pit and some wood 😊
